Once upon a time, I used to cheer for May the 4th... now I cry with disappointment. *Except Clone Wars S7 and the Mandalorian - they are awesome*

@Lmpkio Of course she fails to realise! She's tired, shocked and in pain. Crush any teenager's boob with your boot while pointing a sword at them, I don't think they'll be very coherent.

Remember that Smudge isn't even an adult, let alone a warrior. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

True.

But I suppose both characters will get thrown back into line.
pls don't bully children, some of them are actually demons

tl;dr Mergoux put her face much too close to someone she didn't think could fight back, got momentarily blinded and deafened, and now Smudge has very good leverage on her sword.

And next to her, does she fail to realize a cosmic extra-terrestrial who can eradicate her with his staff... or get stabbed.
Supreme Bishop Nebulius Suprema

Interaction: @Overlord Thraka (Thalia Coldstone); @Antarctic Termite (Smudge Pixelby)

Smudge lied on the ground as the book she was carrying was taken back by the scholar who thanked the two. Nebulius didn't respond, though he only gave a simple nod as he looked down at this "thief". She got up rubbing her computer head and began to bumble about this book.

"Identify yourself." commands the alien, "What was that book you attempted to steal?"

I suppose new blood can't poison the arteries.

Great. Let me see who I can find. I have one guy in mind, but not sure he'll be willing to join. We'll see.
@Lmpkio Hey, if you've got a plan, I'm all ears. My plan was retreat, see if we can get Fran to heal Mephila and Henry, see if Ciel was able to fight Eos, then attack the Machina PCs while Eos and Ciel are fighting. A feigned retreat to regroup and wait for the opportune moment to strike.

But if Ciel's not gonna engage Eos, the plan falls apart. All of Team Demon that we brought into this fight vs Eos would be a tough as nails fight, with Eos having a top tier duelist like Shizuka, and Lillian and Hibiki for support strikes me as absolute suicide.

I mean, I wanted to see how long Mephilia would last with her pain inhibitors on but then again, the battlefield is looking barren anyways so we can go for a retreat.
@Lmpkio@floodtalon How would Mephila and Henrietta react to Artoria asking them if they just wanted to leave at this point? We're kinda trapped on the defensive, so I was thinking we ask Eos nicely if we can just leave and go home now. Artoria can get past the angelic barrier.

Mephilia would probably still want to fight... buuuut idk. We don't have many other characters in this battle, especially from Hell. This battle is going to be like one of the shortest in awhile. But yeah, due to Mega Birb being busy with abroad, Flamelord having left (for reasons Im still not sure why), and etc, I guess we should wrap this up with Hell.

And then there's Unit-T battling Ms. Bull over there, but she's a part of Machina and that's something else entirely.

@KoL

But that would mean no funny interaction with Artoria and Eos.

I mean, we can do that? Idk, Im fine with whatever goes through.

Also, speaking of low members, is it fine if I can try and recruit a person or two to this RP? Just because its... well pretty barren-ish.
@Lmpkio I know, but what makes Smudgie dear dark to him? She's a good kid, just with some unusual values.

I suppose its based off the action she was taking at the moment and probably might tampered with his first impressions. I mean, its not ALWAYS perfect.

(Alternatively I could just check Smudgies profile again and try to change it, buuuuuuuuuuuut its too late to change things now at the moment).

Edit: And yes, past mistakes also make that up. He won't know what it committed, but he knows you have sinned more or less basically lol
goodness, i was expecting some adult mediation and now y'all've gone off and traumatised the poor girl

@Lmpkio I have no objection, but I'm curious- How did the Supreme Bishop get a dark reading off of Smudge?

She'll shake out of it.

Nebulius is a... REALLY religious person you see.

If you check his bio, he is able to view organic entities on a color scale of black and white. The more white he sees in a person, the more he can conclude that said character is a good guy. The more black he sees, the more he concludes that the character is evil. Then there's grey which is basically a balance between good and evil, which he kinda has to deal with, because... well just look at his profile. A link can be seen in the CS part of this thread.
Supreme Bishop Nebulius Suprema

Interaction: @Overlord Thraka (Thalia Coldstone); @Antarctic Termite (Smudge Pixelby)

Nebulius simply frowns at Mergoux's response that undermines his staff. He raises his staff up slightly as a combination of white and black light began to gleam from the center "jewel" before putting it back on the ground with an audible "thump". The light disappears as it issues a mini-shockwave that while visible, it doesn't affect anyone.

"This staff has been under my possession for thousands of years." he simply states, "It's power can overwhelm nearly any advesar~"

Suddenly, a cry for help interrupts as an interesting "thing" runs towards them with a book, while a man tries to get it back. The figure in front was an odd one, at least for these low-tech characters, but for Nebulius, it looked rather ancient. It had an organic female figure, with a computer monitor for a head. This technology is ancient for the Quintillians, used in the mid-early days of their civilization, as they now use far more advanced technology to have faster and more powerful computers and other tech-esque objects. Regardless, even for Nebulius, this figure was odd, and as he can see, she appears to have stolen a book from him.

Nebulius eyes the character quickly, judging her aura to be a very dark grey. She wasn't quite evil, but she certainly didn't seem to be the best in character. The alien's eyes glowed a slight blue as he wields his staff and prepares to stop her. Just as the girl calls out "You can't even-", she would be suddenly struck by the large staff, enough to cause her to fall over. Once she's down, Nebulius points the staff down at the figure, the tip of his staff already glowing white of holy-esque energy.

"Stand down, girl." he commands sternly, "Deliver the man back what you've stolen, this book of his, or face the consequences under order."
