Reluctantly retired roleplayer.

Except when I'm not.

Why are you here when you should be writing posts?

You can edit a bad draft, but you cannot edit a blank page.

@Lord Wraith Oh whoops misread that, my bad. Well, that fulfills my means well enough, I'm writing up the last bit of my CS now, will have it done within the hour. Do I have to PM it to you for approval or do I just post it in the Characters section?

You post it in the OOC for review. You may wish to revisit the rules before posting though as you may have missed something else based on this question.
Well it would be everything and not just organic

And what would the practicalities of this ability be?

Also, added a new announcement to the front page asking all prospective players who are confused about classification to submit an example of their desired ability so Sam and I can more accurately provide a classification.
@Lord Wraith Hmm. Would owning a gun repair store be a valid reason to have a license to bear arms?

It'd be a valid reason to have a license to own a gun, not to be able to bear arms. As I said, outside of law enforcement and military, private citizens can't bear arms in public.
Question...what would the decay through time be labeled under?

Can't truly be sure until we see how you plan on doing said powers but likely a Juno if we're talking organic decay.
Huzzah! I shall get to applying this moment!

Though question: are gun laws in Canada, like, strict or anything? My character idea is that he's a probability manipulating trick shooter.

@DJAtomika Wraith would be the man to ask on that one, being Canadian. From a brief squint at Wiki it looks like they're about as lax as they are in the states.

Well I'd say they're a bit stricter than the States (Our Second Amendment isn't the right to bear arms after all), so ownership without a license is illegal, there's not any right to carry concealed or not. Only law enforcement officers can carry arms in public with the exception of people who are hunting, though that happens on private property so I suppose the above still holds true.

Well alright. Next question would be about my character. Is it okay to have a character that owns firearms as part of his occupation?

Probably the best way to go, though as noted above you're pretty much limited to law enforcement.

Things like conjuring up shadow tendrils, being able to fade into the shadows and transport through said shadows. I was thinking something along the lines of the Nara Clan from Naruto but a little more advanced and wide-spread.

I have to agree with Mr Allen J, technically darkness manipulation is the manipulation of nothing. The above sounds very 'anime'-esque which is a feel I'm definitely trying to avoid. I should also forewarn you I have a certain dislike towards most standard interpretations of darkness manipulation so you're going to have a tough sell on your hands if you do go the quoted route.
Is teleporting to a place through another dimension Mercury or Saturn?

Should probably point out that before you get too carried away with the CS I'm going to ax the 'other dimension' when you submit it. Teleportation occurs by momentarily folding two points in reality together, not by travelling through Hell, Asgard, Avalon or wherever else you might be thinking of making another 'dimension.'
Probably Mars but it could be a Neptune.

Really though what is a shadow? It's an absence of light so I'm not sure how well it would work.
Assuming this is still accepting as what the OP says, here's my CS. Hopefully it's good enough.

I see no problems off the top of my head, will have to wait to confirm with my Co-GM of course.

Collab between Lord Wraith and BlackSam

"Slicey thing is it? With my sliver of metal maybe? I don't think you really appreciate me Hob. I refuse to bail us out again, just because your flying wasn't up to the task of escaping these upstanding Thangarians!" Rane crossed his arms resoutly, turning his snout up at the circling bird-men.

Why are you doing this Rane? Don't you want to fight the feather-heads?

"Well of course I do Sword! Remember who you're talking too! Pacifism is a necessary evil here. Imagine how much this will be annoying short-snack over there."

Ahh. Excellent work Rane. I should never have doubted you.

"No. You shouldn't. The Skyfather isn't the only infallible one around here."

Outside the Thangarian's were waiting impatiently for some sign that their demands were being complied with. On their commanders orders they began to edge forwards.

<"GET OUT THERE AND SWING YOUR BLOODY SWORD!"> Hob screamed as he opened the door only for the Thanagarians to edge forward. Quickly slamming the hatch he turned back to Rane. <"Perhaps not that way."> He said as he began to climb the ladder for the roof hatch. Emerging onto the roof, Hob armed his suit as he fired nonlethal rounds towards the winged soldiers.

"<I'm going to steal ammunition from them. YOU GET YOUR TAIL OUT HERE AND SLICE!"> He screamed back down the hatch.

Rane pushed himself to his feet lightly. He strolled towards the hatch, a bounce in his stride that showed his good humour. A low chuckle began to roll out from him, a rough, insistient cough of a sound. The Thangarian's could hear it from beyond the hatch, their resolve begining to falter. There was something about that chuckle, something ancient and sinister. More like a saw going through bone than a release of joy.

And then the hatch creaked open. The chuckling got louder, but no one came out.

"Unidentified crew! Come out and surrender, and no harm shall come to you. Resist and you will be destroyed!" Barked the Thangarian commander, though the quaver to his voice robbed his words of authority. When no answer was forthcoming from the Jumper, save the crackling chuckling. The commander gestured towards the ship, calling to two of his men. "Soldiers. Investigate that vessel!" The two creapt forwards, none to happily. They made it to the hatch without incident.

It's shooooooowtime.

Rane exploded from the ship, Sword of the Skyfather naked and gleaming in the low gloom of the cruiser, his laughter deep and booming now, though no less sinister. The mysterious metal of the blade swung down, sinking into the collar of the first Thangarian, cutting through his bone like bovine fat. Blood burst from the wound, covering Rane's chest and face.

It was beautiful.

The second Thangarian was too shocked to respond, easy meat for the Sword of the Skyfather. Rane's back swing seen him short one head. An improvement to Rane's mind. Without skipping a beat he withdrew the sword and charged the rest of the squad, still laughing like a madman.

And I thought being part of the Legion would be boring.

<"THAT'S MORE LIKE IT!"> Hob shouted as he activated the thrusters on his exo-suit. Uploading the basic schematics for the Thanagarian Cruiser, Hob quickly isolated where the armory was and sped towards the location. Cutting down Thangarian soldiers with his arc laser, Hob burst into the armory. Examing the ammunition, Hob scowled as he cursed and kicked the wall. The rounds would do more damage than good if loaded into the Jumper's weapons. That meant Hob needed to do some work which was going to take time. At least the blood thirsty reptile would be happy. Surrounding a couple of the araments with an anti-grav field, Hob towed the weapons behind back to the ship.

<"KEEP THEM BUSY!"> He yelled as he climbed into the ship. Modifying the guns and getting the engines back online was likely going to take some time.
