He mixes up emotions and latches onto small silly things so he doesn't have to face himself because in reality he hates himself the most.

@Natsu It's always depended on the character in comics. Zatanna, Dr. Fate, Traci 13, Etrigan the Demon, are all predominant users of magic but there's really no huge consistency in limits and abilities due to the numerous authors and characters over the years. Your best bet would be to focus on a niche and develop abilities you want and then limit them accordingly.
