@Aristo The Elvkiin and Fae have very different views on nature and what demands worship. On one hand you have the Fae who are plantlike but alive with thought and opinions. On the other hand the Evertrees are giants in their own rights who had given the Elvkiin homes and much needed shelter from the environment.

I'm sure between the two groups there would be mixed views on how to interact with one another. On one hand you might have Elvkiin who see the Fae as abominations and against their religion. Then you might have Elvkiin who simply don't care that much about them and left them alone. Some Fae would find them to be kin in a way, as they both care about nature. And other Fae would also not care that much, even going as far as saying it would be foolish to worship trees.

Before the plague they would trade sparingly, and both races would not chose to stay with one another for very long. There have been skirmishes in the past, almost a war between radicals on either side but then the plague came.
@jdh97 Accepted, welcome!
@AdvancedJ3lly Absolutely!
@Sola@Burger Both apps look good, consider yourselves accepted!

Now a question for those who want a mystery artifact, would you rather have a list to choose from or do you want one tailored for your character?
I'm looking forward to what everyone is coming up with! Can't wait to start.
@Sola Yeah that's fine.

@Zetsuko Hmm, no I don't really think so. You see Eon is the only place where people are known to live. Sure there are a couple of islands down south but nothing major like you are suggesting, sorry.
@Sola Of course. So how I see it is that the Fae go through Rebirths at the end of their current life, or whenever they really feel like it. Rebirth's only act as a renewal of their life force, giving them magic back. Age would just work in how many years they have lived for, they retain everything from rebirth to rebirth. I suppose if a Fae didn't want to retain their memories, they could start over but it would be a rare occurrence.

As they grow older and their magical abilities blossom, they are able to undergo changes to their physical appearance. Say as a mark of age and power. Truly old Fae could choose to look like anything they wanted, even young, but as a cultural norm they choose to look older in appearance. They can be very vain, and looks determine place in their society. Young Fae are at the bottom because they don't hold mastery over their powers yet.

Does that help?
@Zetsuko I'll give you a quick rundown. Really nothing special, they are just seafarers who enjoy the sea. Traders, merchants and what not. They were usually darker in appearance to their cousins in the North. Good with magic too.
@Rithy She looks good so far. As for your questions;

1. You can, it would make sense. Just don't be too powerful ya'know.

2. You will be given/drawn to your artifacts after you visit the Emperor and hear his plea. So no, no one starts with them right now.
@Zetsuko Oops, that was from an earlier draft that I forgot to change. I was going to have High Elves at first but I decided against it mainly because we already have an elf like race in the North. Do you really want to play as a High elf? I suppose if there is interest I could bring them back in.
