Some people need to make a hard choice when deciding which two karaoke streams they want to listen to. I have no such weakness: I have two ears for a reason.

The hard part about trying to play some politically savvy mastermind is the assumption that the world operates off real world politics and not your DM’s politics.

Don't put too much stock in prophesies. At best they're full of shit, but more often than not they're one of those self-fullilling kinds. Plan for what happens afterwards instead.

A character isn't deep or compelling just because you let them get hurt a lot, are always depressed, or do morally questionable things.

Bio

If you're here either you're wondering what I'm doing cause I need to post in your RP (In which case, calm yo tits, I'll get around to it), or you want to know who I am. So let's begin.

I'm a college age asian kid who has more heart than he has senses. I'm still working out this whole "adulthood" thing, so until then I just do what I feel I must. As far as personality and traits go, I'm not one for boasting. So if there's anything redeeming about myself you'd have to figure it out in person or by word-of-mouth. Generally however I'm rather perverted, in the best and worst ways. nothing is too much until I've crossed the line, and that just means I've started.

As far as Roleplays I like, I have a thing for fantasy, though I'm also good for some types of sci-fi, supernatural, Modern, and slice-of-life. If it's open and sandbox, I'll probably join it. Never really been a romantic, I often chose to sexualize any notion of romantic encounters I come across. I generally write at Casual quality, though I have no issues with Free-Level Rp/Players and I can hold my own in Advance.

DOMIC ROCKERSTAR HATCHETMAN

"Ah, just thought you might've ran into my crew back in Neverwinter. Had dwarves, gnomes, halflings, the likes. Thought I might've recognized you from a mutual." Domic orders a drink for himself and the dwarf. He joins her at the table, figuring she seems nice enough to chat with. "Name's Domic Rockerstar Hatchetman, I grew up in Neverwinter! Was part of a small time outfit there, did some jobs before we parted ways. We looked out for the small folk, both literally and metaphorically. Hell one of the reasons I'm even up here is to keep doing that you know, looking out for folks in need of help. What brings you up this far north?"
DOMIC ROCKERSTAR HATCHETMAN

Domic had been drinking, and more or less forgetful in his inherbriation, that he wasn't really paying attention to Dullin when she started chatting with Kyra. That being said, when the dwarf arrived that did pique Domic's interest. It's been a while since he's seen a fellow short person, and he was just soused enough not to care that he's going to talk to a burly woman who might not care for his company. The fox girl was also talking to the dwarf, and Domic realized he never learned her name, or maybe he just forgot. Either way the gnome walked over. "Hoi there! Say, you look kinda familiar. You from Neverwinter?"
I ought to work on a post tbh, so I'll see about doing something for Domic.
Donny just nodded. He could barely make out what Cat was saying, but she seemed to know what she was doing so Donny would just follow her lead. Even as he regained his hearing, he would have to rely on Cat to be their eyes and ears. The path Cat took would lead towards the 7-11. A common name for buildings and shops that used to sell food and other goods in the old world. Those sort of locations are usually in ruins however, since convince stores usually have a lot of supplies, so naturally any scavenger with a lick of sense would raid those places first for supplies. Donny personally didn't have much faith that there was anything worth taking there, but if it was marked on the map there must be some significance to it.

Unfortunately the path there wasn't going to be easy. As they entered a larger metro station, the duo ran into their first obstacle: a chasm. From the looks of it there must've been another tunnel system underneath their current tunnel that had collapsed a long time ago. The chasm was at least ten feet wide and deep enough that neither Cat or Donny could see the bottom even with a light. The chasm even split the walls. They would need to turn around, or find a way across. Regaining enough of his hearing that Donny could hear himself speaking, he turns to Cat. "Hole's not too wide. If you can get across, could tie my rope to those rail tracks. Not sure if I can make the jump myself, but I'd be a lot more confident with a rope to climb."
As Amelia looked around, she wouldn't see many orcs. Most of the folks were human, with the occasional elf. She would be the only woman there, with a few of the men training giving her lurid looks. The ones training here seemed to be skilled archers, with many archery targets set up for practice. Some close, up to 30 feet, and even a few long, up to 100 feet. Amelia would even notice some archers shooting into the sky. Upon closer inspection, she would spot that someone was launching clay targets hundreds of feet into the air, and those same archers were deftly shooting down these clay birds with remarkable ease. Aside from archers, there were a few men sparring with staves, and some using wooden swords and shields.

"Hoi. There you are." Malkus finds Amelia a little while later. He hands her a sword that looks notably different from the one she had given him. Amelia may even be familiar with it: it's very similar to Khergit cavalry swords, being a long curved blades designed for slashing at foes from horse-back. It was even well-balanced to be light despite it's length, no more unwieldy than her previous sword. "Got your sword. You ought to get familiar with it, since I made some alterations. I see you got a new bow too, so we may as well give that a go too. Which do you want to practice with first?"
For a while, after making his statement Tungsten was quiet. He was still in deep contemplation about his new duties and what it meant. rationalizing his fears, to either justify them, or deny them. Part of him was even starting to feel regret. AlphaQ created him with sentience to understand how the living think, so that he would be more effective against them. But those very same qualities made him feel these emotions that now hampered his thinking. Nothing about what he was thinking of was logical. All just emotions and synapses based off the experiences and expectations programmed into him.

Tungsten made a decision. These emotions were getting in his way. He needed to focus. Not on AlphaQ, not on his own sorrow, but on the mission: protect the Infactorium. Thanks to his robotic nature, he's able to alter his memories and thoughts in such ways that are beneficial to him. Ordinarily, he uses this ability to remove fear and charm effects on himself. Once he was able to reprogram his thinking to deal with his current mental later, he listens to Faetalis in regards to the village they've inadvertently annexed, Anzelgard. When it was his turn to speak Tungsten stood up.

"We do not now the capabilities of these lands, and provoking the ire of the unknown in our current state may prove to be our undoing. We should control Anzelgard from the shadows, to use it as a proxy into this new world so we may gain a better understanding without directly exposing ourselves to future enemies. To that end, knowing that Anzelgard is no longer valuable due to the lost of their bauxite mine, and the slaughter of those sent to investigate the disturbance, subsequently puts them in a precarious position. No doubt once they realize their livelihood here is no longer possible they may choose to migrate. Alternatively, if they already aware of the lost of the resources, they may seek the aid of their host country to investigate the matter. Either way, we must deflect their attention. To that end, I propose an idea."

Tungsten uses his magic to create a large illusion of a stone monstrosity. In Yggdrasil, this creature is known as an Ore elemental, a type of earth elemental consisting specifically of metal ores. A valuable resource Yggdrasil, but more importantly, a low-level BIG that Tungsten can create. These creatures are hardly a threat to the likes of the Infactorium, but they are a menace as they add ore from the earth into themselves. Perhaps the others would realize where Tungsten was going with this.

"We could engineer the lost of metal ores to the workings of a Ore Elemental. The death of those native warriors could also be attributed to the elemental, proving to be too much of a threat for the conventional forces they have sent. But one of our own warriors can easily do so. We use this opportunity to endear us to the village and whatever nation controls it. This allows us to have an agent within to feed us information and preform subterfuge tactics, possibly even obtain authority that will enable a more smooth transition of power to us without arising suspicion."

I'll see what I can whip up either today or tomorrow.
I'll have a secret, sure. Could be fun.
DOMIC ROCKERSTAR HATCHETMAN

Domic entered the seance with little expectations and a full much of mead. He was actually starting to feel a bit of a buzz now, and when the ghost talking started he was genuinely surprised that they were actually speaking to spirits. Domic just thought this whole thing was a hoax. This sobered him up considerably, and he made it clear that he wasn't here for any trouble. He just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. He let the others speak, not really having much to ask, mostly because in his inebriated mind the entire seance went faster than his mind could process. By the time he finished his mead, the ghost was gone.

"All things considered, that went pretty well. Would've been up shit creek if that ghost was raring for a fight. Pretty sure mortal steel does nothing to them incorporeal types." At least, so the stories go. Domic's never encountered ghosts but he's heard plenty of takes of folks who have, trying to slay them with a mundane sword only for the blade to pass through them harmlessly. Then the slaughter happens. It makes Domic try to remember to at some point, either find a magic axe or make his current axe magical. "I wonder if silver also works?"

Either way with the seance done, Domic leaves the backroom and joins everyone else in the common hall. Everyone else seemed to be drinking, and Domic certainly could use more of that. As he staggered out of the room he noted Dullin and waltzed up to her. "Hey... You. Dullin, right? Sorry, a bit buzzed right now so logic eludes me at the moment... You're a wizard, right? Think you can enchant my axe?"
