Ella couldn't help but chuckle, rolling her eyes slightly at Raven's stereotyping. "What's not to like about bugs? Especially if they're as adorable as this one." Bugs, now she thought about it, seemed overlooked by people in general. There were particular ones she'd seen many times in contests, such as Vivillon and Beautifly, and in the battles she'd seen on TV, some people favoured ones like Scyther and Heracross. Apart from that select few, though, bugs weren't the most popular choice. It was a refreshing change to see a trainer with a Bug-type like this one.

Her smile diminished at the comment about her Trubbish. Treasure, who had started slowly approaching the Weedle, backed away and hid behind Ella again. "Huh? But look at her! Look at those little teeth! And Pokemon like this can be such great friends," she said. She hoped this guy wouldn't turn out like some of the other people she'd met, but it was already obvious he found her and her Pokemon odd. At least he was being reasonably friendly.

She looked from him to the girl who had just approached. "Hey! I'm Ella." Although Leisy's attitude towards Treasure was much better than Raven's, the Trubbish took one look at her and hopped backwards.

"It's ok, she just wants to say hi," Ella reassured the Trubbish, crouching down and petting her, earning a disgusted look from somebody walking past. Ignoring the stranger, Ella looked over at Leisy. "This is Treasure. She's a little shy. Yeah, you don't get all that many Trubbishes around Feyhollow either, but they turn up now and again." Maybe that was why Treasure was so timid, Ella thought. There were few of her kind around. "I met her by a trash can while cleaning up the pageant hall a few weeks ago, though I only just actually caught her."

Treasure eyed the little foil and sweet wrapper figurine in her trainer's hand. "You want this too?" Ella passed it to her Pokemon, who began munching on it. "It's alright, I can always make more."

Taking note of the Pokedex that marked Leisy as a trainer, it was Ella's turn to ask a question. "So, what Pokemon do you have?"
