Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

I think there are too many of them to keep track of as NPCs, perhaps some sort of nasty accident happens on Friday's mission that causes a lot of deaths, or they could drop out of school for personal reasons, either way.

I'm thinking that a mass Reality Rewrite would be a better solution in this case. Wanton death would tarnish Beacon's reputation permanently IMO.

That suits me well, @Ryonara! At the moment, there is one team that is only missing one person: RPG, Rampage. If you want to fit in with our friends Guess Who, Paigesweetheart, and @Jangel13, the letters A, M, and E are available to you. If we go with the Mass Reality Rewrite, though, it would be acceptable to use whatever letter you like, and we can orchestrate a new name starting with R and containing P, G, and yours.

Later, McFazzer.
Here are Sasha and Penny. These turned out way better than Ayame did. Hope you enjoy!

Karn and Trinity next?
Still here, just waiting to see what is going to happen lol

Thank you for your assurance.

Are there any spaces left for a new team member?

Indeed...if you're sure you can dedicate yourself to this RP.

Right now our whole team organization is somewhat out of whack. SIIS is totally gone, and all of the others save MODA and SASG are in various states of disrepair. Once we finish this school day, which will happen soon, I'll get everything organized into teams for the missions. I'm debating whether to make all the vanished players into NPCs to prevent enormous, game-breaking team rearrangement, or just to scramble those teams missing players.

You can do it for Sasha and Penny if you want

You got it! You're going to be impressed I hope!

Awesome, but how do you get so many options to make the chibi so accurate?

Caits was right. If you want real detail, though, ask me to make an HM portrait of your character. Nobody else has really jumped at it, because chibis are cuter I guess, but I would be happy to make a full-detail, full-body portrait for you or anyone.

@t2wave
Were you referring to Trinity's job or Nolan's job? Your insinuation proved too subtle for me.
I should make a Chibi for Wanderer

Too slow! Another go?

Nero is now just "that suspicious person" in Trinity's book.

Oh, and Wanderer volunteered too? That's two, cool cool.

How the heck are you convincing people?
@Guess Who Your previous post is fine as is. You might consider making a second post -it need not be exemplary- to deal with the rest of the hour.

@Lugubrious That's pretty cool. Hero Machine is the only way I can make remotly acceptable art so that's pretty much the only thing I use. Also I used the Sea Legs from the google doc because they seemed really cool. And the only reason I made a female was because of the M-F ratios to help balance it. One thing I'm curious about is how do you do the blue carpet thing under her feet? It looks really cool but I can't find it.

Oh, I gotcha, hahah! I had totally forgotten about putting it in the doc.

Kaithas hasn't been online in five days, so it's likely that I or someone else will have to step in as Ni later this weekend.

All of your suggestions are taken into account. We will expedite sixth period; only the teachers will post, and their post will cover the whole hour. Thank you for your cooperation, teachers.

[@Eklipse] your character, Krysanth, is accepted. I do want to call attention, however, to an incredible coincidence.

I, too, have made a female blonde using water-imbued boots called the Sea Legs whose portrait was done in Heromachine. I'm not at all accusing you of copying me; I'm simply marveling at how we both created original characters so similar.
Am I able to join?

If you can assure me of your conviction and dedication to an RP like this, yes.
Nero -=- Outside Phoenix Wing

Nero clapped his hands excitedly, lofting them beside his head with the flair of a tango dancer or stage director. “A solid yes! This is going to be so cool. I've always wanted to see what real guilds are like, more or less. The Southern Wolves couldn't have been less interesting. All body, those mercenaries—no magic.” He swished backward a respectful distance from Ayame, whose continued use of the dark mage as impromptu shelter heartily endeared her to him, and descended into a squat so that he might see the girl at eye level. “Don't get too worked up about the wish. I promise we'll fulfill our deal eventually, after I take enough color from melons and stability from tables to make sure that the Law of Manifestation is completely safe. What Jamie said about wishes is kinda true. Having someone around who can instantly fulfill a desire of yours is great and all, but real miracles are beyond me. That stuff is up to you. In the mean time, if you want new clothes or something, I can craft some for you with my Law of Raiment. Something darling and unassuming to match your demeanor! In exchange, I'd be willing to let you try out my Law of Atavism. It's the one I'm best at, and if I'm trying, there's no way whatsoever it can go wrong. Unless you're a really horrible kid—perish the thought!”

Not waiting for Jamie to jump down his throat again, Nero swooced right into the guild proper. For the second time that hour, he threw apart his arms and cheered, “Hello Phoenix Wing! Say hello to your new intern! I'm completely reformed, no longer looking for volunteers for new magic!” He winked, and in the process of doing so barely avoided stumbled into Amaya from behind. This act went quickly forgotten, however, when he beheld Nolan cowering on the ground. What an absolutely uproarious act! He affixed Ayame with his gaze and smiled widely, hoping to get her to join in.

Fleo, meanwhile, found her companion's antics more irksome than entertaining. Though he hadn't said it aloud, Nolan made obvious his contemptuous disbelief that nobody in the high-profile Phoenix Wing would think such a big-time job as theirs worthy of attention, and this sentiment the dusty woman shared. In boredom she let her gaze wander over the interior of the guild hall, seeking out anyone that might be free enough to ask, leaving the Ash God Slayer to conquer his fears and deal with the terrifying ice-cream lover now menacing him. As she looked, Fleo recalled a certain face, or rather, the lack thereof; for what seemed like several days now, except at the stunt with Karn's cake in the morning's dewy, early hours, the frenetic boy nicknamed Candy had been queerly absent. Could he have gone off somewhere, leaving his new guildmates alone?

Of course, the notion hurt the guild more in principle than actual strategic value, but Damian hadn't been kidding when he compared Phoenix Wing to a family two days prior. Even if Fleo didn't connect with a vast majority of the guild members, with the sole exception of young Felix -who, by the way, she had yet to observe since his sojourn to Jeremy's Pancake House-, partaking in guild life created a sort of familial expectation. If a person let it down, it hurt in a fashion startlingly similar to a parent's disapproval.

Fleo snapped her attention back to Nero. Given his previous antics, she hadn't expected to see him again. Perhaps, in a guild full of occupied members, the stranger of the group would be the one to bail her out? Still, she held out some hope for Amaya, providing Nolan could overcome his paralysis enough to ask her for assistance.
