Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

That just means Vestec will have to try really, really, hard.

Dragging one or two to his personal plane, constant corruption application, eventually they have to give in!

Yeah they would, but he'd need to learn about them and then capture them. Being outsiders, they are watchful, and don't deal passively to attention.

Kraken will be hunting outsiders violently when he gets to making avatars, @Lugubrious, so Escre may not be pleased to find a Cthulu-esque avatar of Kraken with like 300 Outsider eyes :D

He'd have to get close enough to one to put it into his field of omniscience, which means crawling out of the ocean and finding some human settlements, then not leveling the whole thing in a quest to find a single being that's good at hiding and running. Of course, it's possible.

*Everyone round on Lugu and demands that Outsiders be in some way used for their own purposes*

xDD poor Lugu and Escre, we all have plans and use you as stepping stones.

It's not for nothing that Escre made a beeline for the core of the planet and starting spreading its power throughout the planet. If things start looking sour, Escre might just blow the joint. In the meantime, Escre's going to be working its hardest to consolidate its power, starting with my next post.
Oh no, not at all. ^^; It's nothing like that. It's just that I feel a bit too awkward since I barely know anything about the actual series, plus I don't really have much of a character idea other than "pegasus knight" and yeah. ^^;

I'd urge you not to give up, that this is basically a fantasy RP with some fancy terminology. Often it's enough to start out with just three words, as Sapphire said, and that's enough to go. For Sanguin, I did 'masked wolf girl'. I looked at the circumstances and whether I wanted to make a werewolf or not, so I decided to make it symbolic. So I thought about what characterizes wolves, and why Sanguin would wear the mask of one. I thought about several things I hadn't done yet among my characters, being 'sword and shield' 'single-sided sword' 'alternate ego' and 'asexual', and then lumped in the traits of a wolf--family love, fierceness, fighting spirit.

So, you've got a pegasus knight. Knights, with their expensive armor and typical fighting prowess, usually come from wealthy or at least important backgrounds, so you've got a basic premise. Lots of people in these times have horses, but pegasi are far rarer. How did your character get a pegasus, or why did he or she choose one in the first place? Are they a free spirit, wanting to pursue the life of a warrior for posterity's sake and to make sure the family name doesn't fall into ruin, but wanting to do it their own way? Did a dying friend give your character his pegasus, and inspire your knight to follow in his footsteps? Is your character from Bravura, with a personal stake in the war, or from Panoply, and eager for wealth or fame? Or perhaps a hedge knight, banished from service in Augur following a bitter defeat?

Infinite possibilities wait after only a few words.
Incidentally, the boss is a demon too! :P

I was going to post his sheet today along with the map, but it'll probably end up being tomorrow. I guess we're going with Gaia-Gol as the world name.

I'm going to try to commit myself to have the actual thread for this up within 48 hours or so from now.

Corruption! Corruption for all!

Take a look at the entry for the outsiders in the OOC's second post. You might find them a little truant toward Vestec's scheming.
Erza v Laxus is a tough match to call. I actually think Laxus would win. Everything I've seen has led me to think he's on part with Gildart's level of power, or slightly below.

New York?

Oregon. I've been.
Wow...humans enter the world and they've already been used as the basis for Outsiders, Dyuns, Cimexes, and soon Mermaids/Mermen.

Remember though, these are all cheap imitations. Nothing can quite match the original ;P

Not quite. If you'll recall, outsiders came to be at the same time as humans. In fact, because they were closer to Escre, they lived first. The outsiders were never human. They're not superior or inferior, necessarily, just different...a lot like Escre. They have no violent urges again humans, only envy, and will live among them in secret. In fact, they might become more along the lines of humanity's silent protectors; after all, who is there to envy and aspire to if they are all killed? And Escre will not abandon them.
Just curious, is it possible for our characters to obtain their second origin?

Only a mage who uses Arc of Time can use the spell Second Origin Release, according to the wiki.

*gasp* Escre, how could you? You're supposed to keep the balance!

Besides, if you're any good at it then Undasis and Vestec may have competition.

Hey, if man were allowed to flourish on its own, that'd upset the balance.

So to keep balance, it stands that there would be an anti-man, one on the opposite side of the coin who grew in proportion to mankind's growth.
PM sent. I bet you didn't think I'd take this opportunity to create eldritch abominations, now did you?
