Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

Can I call you Patty from now on?
I'm about as much of a Star Fox fan as I am a Mario RPG fan: I've never played either, so I can't really say. If Miyamoto doesn't end up screwing Star Fox over, I might be happy.

I hate Nintendo after the shit they pulled with Bayonetta 2

If Nintendo hadn't supported and published Bayonetta 2, it wouldn't have been made. Is not existing preferable to being exclusive on a console you don't own?

What about these:
Zelda: Triforce Heroes
Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam

Triforce Heroes is a blend of Four Swords and Link Between Worlds, and from what I've seen of Treehouse gameplay sacrifices from both to accommodate the other. I'm sure Paper Jam will be adored by the fifty remaining Mario RPG fans.

Maybe I'm being unfair, but I want a good reason to play my Wii U. Nothing that Nintendo showed off this E3 excited or motivated me at all.
Holy cow Nintendo dropped the ball this E3. Absolutely nothing remarkable.
#14 - Survey - Polling Time!

This one will be a bit different than normal. Rather than a creation contest or a writing challenge, it is a simple survey. If you were present in Chapter One, you may draw upon those experiences as well. If you No credit will be earned for an incomplete entry. All participants will receive 1 credit for completing this survey.

1. How have I been doing so far in this RP's management? Is there something you'd like to see more of, less of, revisit, revise?

2. What character have you enjoyed reading the most, and why?

3. What character, based upon the sheet and his or her IC behavior, would best fit into the actual RWBY show if given the chance?

4. What single event would you most look forward to happening in the course of this RP? Things such as a tournament arc, a school dance, etc?

5. If all teams were to have a massive, Hunger Games-esque fight, which would come out on top, and why?

6. What do you think of this system of contests and challenges? Anything you would change?

7. What sort of circumstance would aid you in revealing your character's backstory in a warranted, thought-out fashion?

8. Do you have a favorite ship? If so, who?

9. Finally, what do you picture your character doing or being in twenty years, provided that he or she graduates Beacon?
<Snipped quote by Lugubrious>

Not really. He's just being kept alive by some magic. Eventually, that magic will run out. It's like using a magic spell constantly. It's like Loki having to stay in the human world. His power is strong that kept him going for a lot longer than most Celestial Spirits would but that power eventually ran out. Same applies.

In this case, it's like his heart is getting shocked awake again.

Just prolonging fate.

It will be explained Better in the 2nd personal quest

Hm. I'll look forward to the explanation.

We don't actually accept Hero characters. Those are made and controlled by whoever controls the god-character. The only exception was Cyclone, and he put an interesting case forward. If you would like to join, you will have to wait until a demigod is created in-game, and then you can submit a demigod character sheet. Until then, we are full I'm afraid. But please, do stick around in OOC and talk with us, tell us about the potential demigod you would like to make and maybe link us to any past roleplays you've been in so we can so your writing style.

With Venku gone, isn't a space open?
Karn's immortal?
@Cinderella Man Prince brings up some valid points. Since your character is still a work in progress, I won't get after it for now. It wouldn't hurt, however, to write down some of the history that Taene's forgotten, and to give him some traits, redeeming or no, beneath the exterior.

The only technical flaw you've got is the Rationale section. The Rationale is meant to explain why the character would want to join up with the Reclaimers. Basically, why he'd abandon his allies and turn coat in the middle of battle to join us. Doing so just because he doesn't know what he's doing anymore isn't very sensible reason. Now if it's part of Taene's character that he's unintelligent, the lack of depth and rationale would make more sense, but otherwise, it is not preferable.
