Bio

Current GM of World of Light. When it comes to writing, there's nothing I love more than imagination, engagement, and commitment. I'm always open to talk, suggestion, criticism, and collaboration. While I try to be as obliging, helpful, and courteous as possible, I have very little sympathy for ghosts, and anyone who'd like to string me along. Straightforwardness is all I ask for.

Looking for more personal details? I'm just some dude from the American south; software development is my job but games, writing, and trying to help others enjoy life are my passions. Been RPing for over a decade, starting waaaay back with humble beginnings on the Spore forum, so I know a thing or two, though I won't pretend to be an expert. If you're down for some fun, let's make something spectacular together.

If there are any characters looking for interaction right now, it would be entirely possible for Argus and Ni to bumble into them in the course of their incredible chase scene. Just a heads-up.

Funnily enough I only saw this after I posted.
Ni Rensa – Restaurant Exterior

@lmpkio@raijinslayer@hatakekuro@caits

Ni glanced at her axe as if she hadn't realized it was there. ”Uh, I guess nyot. I sorta just did it outta instinct, make the tone a bit more serious, you knyow. If you didn't hurt anyone, then it'll be fine.” She stood idly by as Argus rattled off what he must have deemed an 'apology' before producing some kind of arcane pellet and throwing it onto the cobblestones. A coughing fit ensued from Ni as smoke blanketed the square, and out of reflex she hopped backward a few paces, her tail swinging around in apprehension meanwhile. When the haze cleared, she found herself unexpectedly looking at two people in the nude, resulting in a quick about-face, half out of embarrassment and half due to a truly sincere attempt to not burst out laughing. The indignation of Marlene and the utter nonchalance of Enma did extraordinarily little to help her in this regard, and before Ni finally managed to compose herself, tears were running down her face. At Gabriel's comment, she looked down at her top and shorts before chortling, “I'd love to help but I don't think I have any to spare! Good grief! What a situation to be in, and with soldiers none the less! This is like Kitnergarten all over again. I'll go get Argus instead...”

Without further ado, Ni Rensa deconstructed her axe and took off running after Argus. Getting onto a roof with bladed shoes and cat-claws wasn't a problem, but the demon was gone faster than a cobra in a mongoose convention. Ni smiled, snarling under her breath. More than anything else, definitely without the exception of Kilo, she loved the chase.

Nero the Genie – Bold Tone Creamery

@invisible man@liferusher@CirusArvennicus

Entranced, Nero silently observed as Eve selected a fold from her ample supply and squished it, causing her whole bulk to begin jiggling hypnotically. Something about the rhythmic undulation of her flesh and the cuteness of her more spherical face struck him absolutely dumb. It boggled his mind that he'd finally found a girl who not only tolerated but seemingly liked a thorough coating of blubber, if her wide smile was anything to by. That expression, though made previously by the Necromancer, shone with so much more radiance and heartwarming sincerity on features not made gaunt by worry and rejection. Furthermore, her acceptance unwittingly fulfilled the caveat of the Law of Escalation cast upon her in the sense that this was now her 'default', and the spell wouldn't expire. Of course, another Law could shrink her back down, but Nero opted to even suggest it only as a last resort. Before him sat ponderously what was to him the true embodiment of beauty. Sure, any overweight girl might catch his eye, but only Eve had special significance to him.

He gave a genuine laugh, breaking the silence, at Eve's remarks. ”Powerful, indeed!” he replied, watching her protuberant belly threaten to burst from Eve's shirt as she patted it. ”Most chicks would sooner die of starvation than run the risk of gainin' a little weight, but the benefits of such a self are manifold! For starters, ya got strength. Force is acceleration times mass, after all. Then ya got a sense of presence; nobody can ignore ya. Ya also gotta comfortable cushion no matter where you sit or sleep, other women might be friendlier 'cause they don't see ya as a rival,” he leaned in, ”And lastly, though this only applies to you, ya gotta be the most lovely thing I've ever seen in my life.” He sat back again, relaxed. His face retained more colorful than usual, canceling out his ordinary paleness. ”Welp, I'll happily do anything you want after we're done here. Walk around, find a museum, whatever you like. I'll wager ya wanna get use to that body. Or maybe Ayame can decide.” Only just now remembering that Ayame was with him, he made sure to include her in case she felt left out. In truth, he was a little worried about what the little girl would think about him fattening Eve.

While saying this, he spotted Trinity and Karn outside. Had ten minutes passed already?
@Dead Cruiser Well, he did try to fry her. I'll look forward to another Marchesa post before I can go again.

He didn't strike me as subservient.
Certainly none of us want it all to go to waste, but since none of us want to put any more effort into it, are prohibited from doing so because of a lack of time, or both, it seems to me like the best option would actually be...

4) Give up

Failing that, maybe #3 has a chance.
Sure, they might fire underwater, but the bullet speed falloff rate is pretty significant.

Armory

Accompanied by the ring of the beginning bell Professor Chatsworth appeared from an adjoining room. His rolled-up sleeves and filthy hands abundantly gave off the impression that he'd been at work on some laborious project or another. Approaching the students, he waved to get their attention before giving instruction. “Good afternoon! Today, I'll be giving you all some time to tinker with your own gear as usual, but this time I have a new assignment that is to be started no later than thirty minutes in, as well. This marks the first time that you're not understanding or modifying, but actually making. I want you to concept, sketch, and then begin gathering parts for a functional headgear. It can be goggles, a hat, a visor, glasses, what have you, but it must perform some task useful to a hunter in the field. As always, if you're unable to find the parts you want in the scrap room, you can place an order for materials using my terminal. The first ten orders are free -you can thank your tuition for that- but after that there will be some small charges to your account. Good luck and fulfilling work!” Chatsworth wiped his hands off on a rag and produced his scroll, sending a copy of the assignment to the electronic blackboard near his desk, where it displaced the usual two or three diagrams taken up residence there. After that, the professor returned to the back room, leaving the door open so that anyone who wanted his help could ask.

Abel Fulgurate

“Hallooooo there, young learners!”

The resounding voice of Professor Port threatened to drown out the bell for a moment. Abel seated himself at a desk, noting that somehow pretty much everyone else in the class beat him to it, and looking expectantly at the mustachioed instructor for the beginning of the lesson.

Port obliged. “Today, we'll be studying a brand-new type of Grimm! We've introduced ourselves to most of the pitiable Kleins and a few of the Feinds already, but this elusive type we can't easily encounter in a classroom. Follow me, eager adventurers!” He pressed a button on his desk with his signature bravado, and in one corner of the room a previously-unmentioned metal door swung open. Seemingly disregarding the notion that some of the students might have second thoughts, Port led the way into the brightly-lit hallway and into a surprisingly well-known room: the pool. While it fell under the classification of 'gym' and stood right next to it on the Beacon floorplan, the pool had been inexplicably inaccessible today, and one look at it made it pretty clear why. A large, dark shape moved beneath the water, ignoring a series of circular floating platforms arranged like lilypads across the pool's surface.

Despite the overwhelming ominous sense flooding from the pool, Port seemed mightily pleased with himself. “Today's monstrosity is a water-borne behemoth, the Megaladeus! They're downright nasty pieces of work, let me tell you, I nearly lost a leg to one once...but that's a story for another time! Anyway, I'm stacking the odds in your favor since you're fighting out of your element. Old Port took a handsaw to this Grimm's teeth after helping to capture it, so it won't turn you into mincemeat if it grabs you, but rest assured it'll still hurt! You're going after this ferocious fish as a team, so it's the job of each of you to look after everyone else! Unless you want to be that one hunter who drowned in freshman-year Grimm Studies, I'd recommend removing any extraneous clothing or armor in one of the locker rooms over there. If you've got swimsuits, now might be the time. Remember water resistance for melee weapons, to keep your balance on the pads, and while bullets don't work in water, dust still does! Five minutes until I blow the almighty whistle, brave warriors, get scheming!”
Meh, I'm fine with whatever.

I meant with Marchesa, sorry. Is she going with DIO or doing her own thing?
Any objections to beginning classes tomorrow morning?
Well, I don't want to hold up the main plot, so you can do the timeskip with my approval. Krieg and Jax can just talk about the fight later, and I guess the Overlord, DIO, and Marchesa can also do the same at DIO's hotel. Although, I can't say anything in the other's behalf, that is just my say on the timeskip.

Let's see what @Dead Cruiser has to say.
<Snipped quote by Crimson Raven>

I dunno. Juvia was S-Class, and Natsu and Grey are both very high A-Class mages.

What's-her-face, the girl who can drink ridiculous amounts of alcohol, is A-class, but of what I've seen of her she couldn't stand toe-to-toe with any of those three. (With the exception of that Grand Spell she's got.)

I know Juvia was one of the element four, and probably S-class in terms of Phantom Lord, but she's not on the same level as Natsu, Gray, or Gajeel, that's for sure.
