Rowan stumbled slightly as his vision was now blurry due to Melody's spinning of him.
".....Remind me why we're on a journey together again?" Rowan asked with a sigh as he wandered after his energetic childhood friend. This was such a bother trying to keep up with her energetic ways.

"Hahaha very funny." Rowan rolled his eyes and said sarcastically "And I don't plan on battling Starly's early on thank you, flying types don't match well against Grass types." Rowan shoved his hands in his pockets and started to walk off not really checking behind him to see if Melody was following him or not.

Cody nodded in understanding as he slid his sword back into his scabbard and as James left Cody glanced at Mayt. He had a feeling he had heard his name before....That's right. Mayt was one of the three S-Class wizards in Phoenix Wing.
Sighing to himself Cody checked his own watch, before tapping it lightly and looking at Mayt.
"Sorry but I must also excuse myself, I have other matters to attend to." Cody said with a slight bow out of respect for the S-class wizard before quickly dashing off back to his room to check on the girl.

"Yeah I promise!" Angela exclaimed happily at the mention of more candy which caused Arthur to sigh. He paused as he watched Anya fall over the chair before letting go of Angela.
".....I suppose so." Arthur said with another sigh as he brought Angela in close before whispering something into her ear, the young witch girl simply nodding in reply and beaming him a 'gotcha' smile.
She skipped happily over to Janna before grabbing onto her arm and sticking her tongue out at Arthur, who simply sighed once more and shoved his hands in his pockets. Why must he be stuck with the babysitting anyway?

Rowan accepted the items from Melody with a slight nod as he went back over to his camping pack before slinging it back onto his back.
"Sandgem town huh? If memory serves lots of Starly live in the long grass on the way there." Rowan thought aloud as he started humming the tune for route 201. He placed the pokeballs and lunch in his pocket before returning Twig, if there were Starly using a grass type would probably be a bad idea.

"I am sure you won't do it too often....At least we can only hope." Rowan tried to reassure her through it probably wasn't working. Instead to change the subject Rowan cleared his throat loudly.
"Anyway, shall we begin our adventure?" Rowan asked with a slight grin as Twig finally strolled on over.

"Not hurt too bad are you?" Rowan asked with a hint of concern in his voice as he bent down to help Melody up and dust some of the dirt off of her.
While he thought about it he also pulled out a packet of tissues and handed her a few to dry the tears which had been shed.

Rowan looked up as Melody called out his name and started waving to him, so Rowan decided to wave to her back.
She started running towards him as he now now contemplating telling her about the tree root she was about to trip over-too late. He barely contained the laughter which now threatened to burst forth from him as he raced over to her to make sure she was right.

Rowan slumped against a nearby tree on the path that leads out north from Twinleaf town as he awaited the arrival of Melody. He was 10 minutes earlier than he should've been, so he made himself comfortable at the base of the tree with his large backpack placed next to him
He proceeded to pat Twig who sat patiently on his lap. He didn't have much else to do but wait.
