Personality: The enigmatic and mysterious Mister Crowe, little is known about the reserved wizard who lives in the tower on palace grounds. He can often be seen perusing and studying the books in the palace library, or on occasion, walking the kingdom's cliffs and country nearby. He is a polite and knowledgable gentleman who lives to serve, though little emotion passes his face. He is at home researching strange magicks as he is entertaining the younger members of the royal family, on the odd occasion they seek him out for parlor tricks and passing amusements.
Other: Maximilian arrived in court one day, as per the summons by the king after the passing of the previous, ancient royal wizard. He proved his worth as a varied and adept magic-user, despite his young age. He integrated well into palace life shortly after, and attended to his duties above and beyond expectation, with poise and high care for the role.

Hmm, not sure. Cunning is good for gambling at the Gambling Hall. I don't think Lore has any town effects really but it is used in quite a few encounters though - but then Cunning is also found in encounters, so...

I do believe Father C has pretty good Lore stat so if you're in a party with him often maybe taking Cunning. That being said 2 is still on the risky end for the stat pool unless your pretty lucky.
