Current It's actually kind of annoying how easily franchises like Lost Planet can be spun off into PvE TPSs like EDF and HD2.

Thank goodness! For a second there I thought they were about to release a new Star Fox game.

It's hard to get the idea of a Lost Planet AU RP that incorporates elements straight out of Armored Core out of my head.

Why doesn't anyone come around here and IC-bait a Metal Slug RP? Sure they'll probably still bail like the rest, but at least the fans will enjoy that for a moment.

Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

Oh, right. The last two OOC posts explains how going back to camp isn't so simple.
@KatherinWinter
Ah yes, that's what you mean. That is a pickle. As much as CC wouldn't want to get on their bad sides, leaving Spirit at the camp (for potentially a few pages worth of roleplaying) doesn't sound very fun either... It's hard for me to decide how to proceed. But for now I would personally like to wait until @SoulEater finishes his post before deciding what CC should do. Hmm...
@KatherinWinter
Well if that's so then I apologize for not paying attention. I was under the impression that we were following a trail of some kind or path that can be easily backtracked or something. Or, failing that, we could go back the way Mystery came. Could you please explain what you mean?
@SoulEater
Oh right, I saw your post, but when you said not to reply yet, I thought you meant not to address Ed directly until you were finished. I thought it was still okay for me to get CC up to speed and offer to go with Mystery.

If you'd like me to edit my post or something when you're done with yours, just let me know, alright?
Sorry about that. XP

Listening to Edmond, Cecilia was relieved that the accident wasn't serious. She noticed him looking between her and James, initially thinking little of it. Ultimately, before she could think and overthink it any further, her attention was drawn towards Mystery and even more so when he transformed into a small, mystical white fox. Cecilia's amazement over the spectacular spectacle of his transformation was only matched by how adorable she thought his fox form to be. Listening to him explain about his sister back at camp, she certainly felt compelled to volunteer to accompany him, though she doubted her ability to keep up with a small fox. "Well... I could go with you, Mystery, if you want," she offered with a friendly smile, though she wouldn't object if Mystery would like to go with someone else or if anyone else wanted to go with him instead.

It was only a fleeting touch, yet the feel of James' hand was mostly all Cecilia thought about as she followed his and Neric's lead to rejoin the others, making sure to stay behind him until they arrived. Among other things, it was his warmth that stuck out. She raised a hand to feel her cheeks; only when she was convinced that they had cooled down and she was of the right mind did she attempt to get some answers. She could see Aki helping Edmond to his feet; likely it was Edmond who in some way collided with this new boy, who he was now helping up. "Hey, are you two alright?" she worriedly asked Edmond and Mystery. "Um, Aki? Do you know what happened?" she then asked the person she believed most likely to have seen what happened.

Cecilia didn't say or ask anything while James explained things to Helena. As was her tendency, she silently contemplated these revelations about the mysterious symbiotic beings like James and Neric as well as the kind of bond the two of them share. She didn't stop petting when Neric growled, although she was concerned. There seemed like so much about the two of them that she didn't understand, perhaps that she couldn't understand. She was curious. But that didn't seem like a good enough excuse to ask or mention anything that might upset them. The subject of the girl that they had rescued shot across her mind. The incident earlier still felt like a lingering mistake, the kind she didn't want to make again. Her expression fell a little; she wasn't used to feeling so useless.

She was glad James' attention was elsewhere for the time being, but she knew that pondering on this wouldn't do anyone any good. For a moment she tried to think of something else as she gazed ahead to the trail and nature ahead of them. If James could be 'hurt' when Neric is attacked, could he also feel other things... like...? Cecilia's cheeks flushed a bit when she entertained the notion of James feeling, even a little, her touch as she petted Neric. That can't be how it works! Can it?... No! Absolutely not! I have to stop thinking about it... I... her mind raced when all of a sudden she felt what she immediately turned her head to see as James' hand. She was so caught up in her own thoughts that she didn't notice her hand drawing closer to his until it was too late. "Ah...!" she gasped rather quietly and in a way that was completely unfamiliar to her. Her face noticeably flushed, she looked up at James, immediately withdrawing her hand.

Cecilia then heard a commotion behind them; Helena, Aki, Ivy and the white-haired boy she saw earlier were gathered around someone new, though from where she was, it was hard to get more information than that. Either way, it appeared as though the hike was at a stop, at least temporarily. "W-what's going on? You think we should go see?" she anxiously attempted to ask James and Neric, though she was partially looking in the direction of the others, hoping James would pay attention to them and not to how red her cheeks were.
@KatherinWinter
Yeah, go ahead.
@LiegeLord
"Hmm?" Cecilia watched as the dark cloud dropped to the floor, reshaping into a wolf. It seemed rather abrupt, but any worry she felt drifted away when she heard him speak. For a few seconds, she wondered if Neric felt confined or in any way restricted whenever he withdraws into James' wound. If that was the case, she was all the more glad that he was using the opportunity to "stretch his legs". It was then that she noticed James walk alongside them, smiling at her. She smiled back, joining him in petting the being of black shroud between them. Unlike the cat and hawk forms before, a wolf is the kind of animal that she would have definitely run from if she ever encountered one in the wild. But now, running away was the last thing on her mind.
@LiegeLord
"Oh, right..." Cecilia did as Neric recommended, lightly stroking along the natural course of his feathers and just a little around the back of his neck. "Well, I'm glad you enjoy it Neric," she said after giggling along with James. "Truthfully, I haven't handled any bird before. This must be beginner's luck, I guess." Cecilia enjoyed this, and even more so when she, for a moment, remembered how anxious she was about Neric when she first saw him at the fire pit. To come all this way, and in such a short time... She had trouble putting it into words, so her petting would have to do for now.
