Current It's actually kind of annoying how easily franchises like Lost Planet can be spun off into PvE TPSs like EDF and HD2.

Thank goodness! For a second there I thought they were about to release a new Star Fox game.

It's hard to get the idea of a Lost Planet AU RP that incorporates elements straight out of Armored Core out of my head.

Why doesn't anyone come around here and IC-bait a Metal Slug RP? Sure they'll probably still bail like the rest, but at least the fans will enjoy that for a moment.

Greetings visitor! I hope you're having a good day! Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.

That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. Exceptions do exist of course.

Discontent to just stand around doing next to nothing, Cecilia thought now would be a good time to practice drawing; it was a fair way to pass the time and, although it was an "on and off" hobby, she was feeling rather inspired by her new friends as well as the delightful natural sights she had witnessed. On her way to her cabin to gather her personal drawing kit, a small part of her worried that one of her reasons for her current spontaneous interest in drawing was to procrastinate in light of something she should actually be doing. With perhaps less energy in her stride, she continued, stopping dead at the terrible scream emanating from the cabin which she earlier saw Mystery lead Helena and Edmond, his sleeping sister formerly at its steps. Cecilia certainly wasn't in the habit of sticking her nose where it didn't belong, as it were. But it appeared evident, by the way she frantically rushed over to the shriek's source, she considered this instance an exception. "What's wrong!? Wha...!?" Distress powering her up the steps, she hectically came as far as the doorway to find Mystery embracing his sister, Helena and Edmond also in the room. Cecilia was confused to say the least, feeling like she was interrupting something.
Although I have minimal experience roleplaying and virtually none GMing, I do have ideas now and again that I'd like to see made. Because of lack of time, lack of a capable computer to play it, and aversion to early access games in all their forms, I haven't actually gotten Ark Survival Evolved for myself. But I have to admit that I'm drawn to the blatantly anachronistic concept meant to appease the ten year old in me, successfully it turns out. Plus it's science fiction with dinosaurs that's far enough away from Fox's grasp to not get canned, so it really did look right up my alley.

Preferably, it would be an ongoing series of RPs, the first ones focused less on the highly advanced end of the technology scale (as seen in the upcoming "Tek Tier" updates) and involving more rustic societies and perhaps civilizations that could potentially span numerous Arks. While one Ark could have it's own map like the "Island" or the "Center", I would also see to the creation of a map graphing a network of Arks, like a web that would keep track of governments on a grander scale. The setting could start small with just one Ark, but could eventually grow to as large as it needs to.

I could go on, but the point would ultimately come down to me not really having the time or skill to pull it off. I suppose it isn't impossible, however. But then the issue becomes: Do I really want to exert all that effort and expend all that time on an RP, just to see it go to waste because of lack of dedication on the part of others? Everything you guys already mentioned could also apply. I'm not suited to watching ideas I care about come to naught. I imagine it's an attitude like that that really limits what I could do in the end.

Still, I would like to do something to spend all this interest I have in an RP about ASE. Something that will be open to anyone should they want to make an RP with a dedicated group of players. At least that way it'll get made. It'll probably be stats for all the creatures or something to that effect. But I think, in the interest of not derailing the thread, it would be best for me to start a new topic so I could hear some pointers. Thanks for listening this far anyway.
It's a really tough break about the die out. But I suppose if Rex would like to restart this, it wouldn't sound that preposterous to me considering we just went as far as the first stage where we basically met some members of the order and that was pretty much it.

A new group should easily be able to carry on where we left off and interest for a Young Justice RP may rise with the release of Season 3 possibly.

Now I'm gonna have to bugger off and unsub for now, but I'll always be on the lookout for an opportunity to actually use Titus for something. Later dudes.
As the group arrived and somewhat dispersed with the knowledge that lunch would be served, Cecilia looked to see Mystery, who was still in his fox form, guide Helena and Edmond to the middle cabin where a girl lay asleep; there was little mistaking that she was his sister. Cecilia decided that rushing up to say hello might not be the best thing. If the two newest arrivals wanted to, they could easily introduce themselves on their own terms instead of everyone gathering to them and potentially making them uncomfortable. Cecilia opted to walk by herself to a tree along the tree line several meters from the fire pit. The hike was delightful, but nerve wracking at the same time.

She believed a moment alone would do her good, so she leaned back against the trunk. She enjoyed company, but also knew the benefits of times like these to help her relax and reflect. Her time at camp would be the longest she'd be away from her father. He seemed fairly vague on what he would be doing while she was away. It was strange given how he's usually so open about everything. Well almost everything.

Cecilia looked down on her hand, wistfully remembering the incident earlier with James. It was definitely an accident. But did that really explain her reaction? She let out a long sigh and looked out throughout the camp. Now was not the time to be lying to herself. But even if she did have these feelings, she was at a loss on how to proceed. It was moments like these, that she most wished for her mother to be there, to tell her what she should do.
Cecilia wouldn't fight the decision to go back to camp. With numerous campers potentially arriving late, they might end up sitting around with no orientation, no instructions, perhaps lost. She could almost imagine the anxiety and loneliness involved in going to camp and finding no one there. It would leave a bad first impression to be sure. She was moderately curious why Mystery's sister didn't come along with him to begin with, but there was probably a good reason. Either way, she certainly wasn't going to voice her query now of all times. He seemed friendly enough and was already developing a nice rapport with Helena with Edmond perhaps following. Cecilia was lingering at the back so she couldn't hear exactly what they were talking about, not that she'd attempt to ease drop on them in any case. She could see Ivy and Kyle, their friends around them. Cecilia smiled. She hoped that now and again, when Ivy isn't so distracted and Kyle isn't so burdened, they'd stop to enjoy the company of those who believe in them. Cecilia folded her hands behind her, enjoying the nature that surrounded her. The sight of the birds eventually made her daydream about the power of flight. She chuckled to herself; her dad always hated birds.
What I mean is as a general rule to try and negotiate respectively, lord knows I don't always succeed myself. Now I've allowed myself to get carried away and blow things out of proportion. I didn't mean disrespect and I am sorry. I wish I could say this wouldn't linger on my conscious for a long time.

Alright, now I've said my piece, for better or worse. Me continuing to say anything on any of the matters right now, is very pointless and libel to do harm; I see no need in it. I believe @The1Rolling1Boy has made his choice and I will accept whatever comes for the sake of moving forward.

@KatherinWinter You have my word that I will not bring up the issue again. I will not blame you nor complain on whatever happens. If you wish not to have anything to do with me, I will leave this RP.
@The1Rolling1Boy
And they must accept the consequences, preferably with dignity.
@KatherinWinter
That plan isn't final. Valencia could easily levitate something non-flaming. Perhaps if we were to imagine something rather than abandon ideas for whatever reason, we could create something special, where others would leave, never knowing what they could have accomplished.

As for whether or not Spirit would accompany a highly intelligent and friendly being of shroud, perhaps neither you nor I are capable of making that call. I would appreciate it if we heard from @The1Rolling1Boy and not take the opportunities to roleplay out of his hands.
@KatherinWinter
That was uncalled for.

There is only one other way I can think of that wouldn't involve anyone leaving the group (I'm not a great fan of it for that purpose, because someone going back to retrieve Spirit would allow for opportunities for RPing which I prefer).

Basically what it entails is as many of our characters who are able to let Spirit know where they are. I'm saying: Valencia, Ivy, basically anyone with a noticeable power like fire and so forth to shoot directly upward to give her a marker to follow. It works if no one, not even Neric can leave. Of course I suppose it may not work if, even though they're on a path, since that doesn't mean the forest is clear enough to prevent a fire. But it can work in theory.

I'm just saying, I prefer Liegelord's idea of having Neric go.
@The1Rolling1Boy

There is a path. It wouldn't be hard to find camp. But the counselors aren't going to let you go and one of them is between you and the camp so the only way to go back is through her or around her. You go around ger and your character will be in trouble.
KatherinWinter

The counselors, the two wonder twins, one in the front of the group and one at the back, apparently don't approve of the campers in their care going back and away from the group. Whatever we may feel about their stance, it seems non-negotiable.

But that doesn't mean that our characters can't do anything. I think I may have a plan or two that I could share now or in the IC if you prefer.

Edit: I'll be right back in a little while, gotta take care of something.
