I get the impression that it's best to put as much info into the interest check as possible, just so players know what they're getting themselves into as soon as possible.

Whether you've seen me around the guild or not, I should admit that it's only been within year-6 of my time on this site that I've bothered to start work on this here "bio". I feel like I should apologize for not making it a higher priority much sooner, but lately I've adopted that "better late than never" mindset when it comes to introductions, and besides, I doubt there was much to tell in my early years anyway. I'm pretty much an amateur writer who got my start as a minor tag-along player in a fandom AU campaign ran by a small, close-nit remnant of a community formerly in association with a notable strategy-gaming youtuber. I'm being vague for brevity's sake. In the end, I value my first exposure to roleplaying as a personal learning experience more than anything, as I'm definitely the kind of person that sequesters themselves in any given community they find themselves in and RPG is certainly no exception.
That pretty much explains what I've been up to for the last several or so years, with only occasional public posts from me, as private 1x1 roleplays are easily where the lion's share of my attention goes to. Details regarding my particular interests and even approach as a prospective partner can be found in the interest check I update very rarely, but if you'd like to have a link to it or want to work with me in a similar capacity, then PMs are the best way to reach me. As for what you can expect in very broad terms, I'll say that I'm a 90s kid who'd grown up on Nintendo and Cartoon Network where, thanks to Toonami, I've developed an appreciation for the Japanese style of animation, a style that commonly influences my own creative endeavors to this day. That is in no way to say that I'm an avid watcher of anime and the like (I have my tastes and while that does sometimes coincide with what's current, it usually doesn't), just that I gravitate toward the ludicrous, extraordinary concepts and settings they commonly facilitate. That style aligns with what excites me creatively. That's the long and short of it. @KatherinWinter Sorry to hear it. All the same, I dare any GM to stick it out as long as you have. Although Liegelord and I wouldn't mind pairing off with your characters at all for activities, I think I can understand that you'd prefer more people involved. To anyone saying that the RP wasn't "supernatural" enough, I'd point to the next activity, which would encourage the use of everyone's powers from what I heard.
@KatherinWinter@LiegeLord I would have liked to wait for deerling, but I suppose even they wouldn't want to hold things up if it truly came down to them. Perhaps sometime tomorrow we could have our characters be ready for the activity and deerling can rejoin in whenever they're ready. That should be us accounted for anyway.

"We should get going, Ivory. They'll be expecting us there. You think you're up for that? You don't have to worry about the dishes. I'll take everything back to the hall." Once Ivory had eaten all she could, Cecilia would gather the food in her arms. "Okay, that should be it. I'll catch up with you guys in a bit." Cecilia thought for a moment. "Ivory, i-if you're feeling nervous, I guess it wouldn't hurt if you wanted to stay behind until you felt comfortable joining us..." Cecilia didn't want Ivory to skip out of the activity entirely, but wasn't about to push her either. With a reassured nod, Cecilia would depart and head for the dining hall to leave the dishes with the staff, all the while imagining how her powers were supposed to come into play in the activity. Leaving the lunchroom, she walked over to he growing group of campers. She turned her head from side to side to see if who was already there.
@deerling@LiegeLord "Yeah, yeah," Cecilia said with a big and silly grin. Looking up at the others, she couldn't help but think of how good a picture of this would look like. She was fairly certain she hadn't told anyone this, but that flip book really was the first time she had shown anyone her work. But Ivory made her seriously consider letting others see her drawings more often. She continued petting Neric, quietly cheering Ivory on when she joined in by petting the Void's head. Cecilia was content to spend the rest of the break like this.
@deerling@Mangrale Cecilia's joy was quite palpable. She could hardly contain it. But she managed pretty well. "I'm glad you like it! Take your time alright?" she said. This felt like an achievement in and of itself. But for fear of ruining the moment, Cecilia tried to quietly pick out a chair nearby, nodding at James to join her. "I'm relieved we went with the fruit then. I'd be more than happy to take the dishes back when you're done, alright?" She could rest easy with the most nerve-wracking part now over. She looked to James for a moment, nostalgically remembering a promise she made on the first day. He may have forgotten, be she hadn't. And few things would make her happier than for James to make friends here as well. Just then, Neric hopped on onto the table, taking the form of a bunny, which coaxed a good chuckle from her. "Aww Neric, you were feeling neglected, weren't you?" she teased, her hand coming over to pet him around the back.
