@The Spectre

I don't think I remember giving you approval just yet. So Belize is still up in the air.

oh, well I am almost finish with redoing my history.

Ah I see. I'm not against working out a deal though I would appreciate that you do atleast run it by me before claiming to have seized territories from me and presenting it as an unquestionable fact. Regardless, let's work something out. I suppose it depends on how exactly your nation came to occupy Belize, did your army simply march into it and annex the territory or did you envisage something else?

I have imagined that the British lost control of Belize when the depression began and Belize came to the Federation, requesting to be annexed.
@The Spectre I look forward to seeing the Central American declaration of war on my desk then.

Well, we would have to talk then because I have already took it while you were busy fighting the war (in 1922). Hope we can come to some sort of deal.
@Dinh AaronMk, I am sure that he can deal with it since he (somehow) managed to get back all of his colonies in the Atlantic.
@Dinh AaronMk, does that also mean Belize because I have planned on annexing them.
Didn't someone else wanted to play as the United Kingdom?

EDIT: @BingTheWing wanted to be the United Kingdoms. I don't know if he still does want to be them.
Here is an idea for whoever takes it first: Yugoslavia.

Danubian controls most, if not all, of the lands required from Yugoslavia. Someone could be Serbia and try to form Yugoslavia but they'd have to deal with Danubian. lel
So, I am officially have no idea on what to do next since all of my original ideas were crushed.
Now, all this isn't to say some nations are doomed to be steamrolled by others. In PoW history, two Finns took down Russia, and that happened in IC way back in the day. And it was awesome. What's not as awesome is when crazy stuff like that happens in an app for no real reason besides "i want clay". You can go to war with those countries and maybe win, but do it in IC with a good reason and with cool posts.

@The Spectre

If you're of course afraid of an invasion or intervention by either power in the future, as would be rightly expected by the government, then it might perhaps be a good opportunity to be active in the international theater, but you'll also need to drop those claims still. In this case, I might suggest your focus moving ahead is to inter-twine your country's story with that of another and have diplomatic arcs under the pretense of finding allies in the Americas or abroad to protect your country from Mexico or Colombia. But to start off claiming parts of their land while they're not spoken for isn't a good foot to start on.

Hell from a writing perspective I'd argue it sets you up so independent of anyone for immediate needs you don't need to be active outside so you won't be so readily involved.

Why should I? How do I know that this NRP isn't going to die like the other that were interesting? Why waste all of my hard work onto something that could die at any moment? How long is it going to last before people start to disappear without any word? I am not saying that I won't mind at all if my nation was terrible. Hell, I am up to controlling only Central America, improving it, and expanding it ICly. But, I don't want all of my hard work to be wasted. I have been in many roleplays that I put time into my sheets and liked them but the roleplay suddenly dies because the GM disappeared or players began to lose interest all of a sudden.

I know that it's a game of luck but it's gets tiresome if the majority of roleplays (that you joined) die within a couple of weeks. And I am not trying to sound like a douche (sorry if you think that I am). I am just tried of being let down by GMs, who suddenly disappear without word and the roleplay just dies.

One problem I have is believing that a Central American league can somehow defeat Mexico and Colombia. Both of those countries would fuck up Central America, IMO. Then there's the fact that I find it iffy when players hoard territories for no real reason. Remember there are other players interested in the RP and we need to be generous with our claims. You're already taking all of Central America. That should be enough.

On a related note, I think Poland and the Baltic State should be greyed out on the map because they are technically open. It gives the wrong impression when they are shown as if they are fully integrated parts of Germany.

And hi minhdar.

And if I just have the Central America territories, then I would get fucked by Mexico and Colombia. My claims are designed to give them pause before they decide to attack since I would be fairly powerful. Central America isn't like the United States or Europe. It doesn't have a strong economy since they have to be centered around agricultural products. Unlike the northern part of South America, they have a ton of oil. And oil produces way more money than food. That is the reason why I have taken lands from Colombia and Venezuela since it's where most of the oil is located.

If I have decided to stay in Central America, then I would be in a weak state. And that would give Mexico and/or Colombia reason to attack and take land.
