Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Chloe and Rosie

"hi. Are you okay?"

The new voice shook Chloe out of her mood. It was one of the other campers, a short girl, tiny even. No wonder Chloe missed her approach. She gave her a wide smile and quickly tried to remember her name from first day, it began with R, she was sure of it. Rosie.

"Ah, hi there! I'm fine, just need to remember that humans chew their food, not swallow it whole." It was only after she had said it that Chloe realised that would sound strange if Rosie didnt know her power. Oh well.

Rosie blinked at the some what strange answer, processing it for a moment. Shapeshifter? Or just didn't have a normal mouth? Or wasn't human? None of those answers would surprise her, not any more. She managed a smile, even if it was a small one.

"there's nothing to be ashamed off about not remembering that. If you act how you feel more comfortable as, then that's all that matters. No one should judge you here. We're all in the same boat, right?" she said softly, studying Chloe.

She shifted, feeling awkward. "ah, I'm Rosie. I haven't been here long...I don't particularly wish to be here, you see"

Chloe's smile shrunk slightly. She got the impression that alot of the campers here had been given about as much choice of coming as she had. Perhaps even less. If all of them were as nice as Rosie seemed to be, then she'd be very surprised, Chloe remembered what students who felt trapped acted like.

"I think alot of the other campers are in similer sitations. Still, its nice to meet others like us right?" The smile came back full force as Chloe pulled out a chair, gesturing towards it.

"Anyway, thanks, you're right of course. The more frustated I get the less control I have. Did you eat yet?"

Rosie didn't really feel like being positive about a situation she had no choice in, but Chloe evidently wished to be, and Rosie didn't have the heart to crush that faint hope. So she just nodded, "I suppose it is. But why are we here?" she wondered softly.

When Clhoe invited her to sit, Rosie hesitated for a fraction of a second, before sitting "my dad always told me, patience is the key to life, you can't expect anything to work if you are frustrated" she shrugged, the every day saying in her home a painful memory, but one she would never forget.

"I've had something" not much, but she'd eaten some of her breakfast.

Chloe gave a brief nod and finished of the last of her food, remembering to chew properly. Perhaps Rosie would be interested in trying something fun, it looks like she needs some cheering up.

“Well, I have nothing else to do right now. Do you want to go try and find where they’re hosting this power training thing? Maybe do a little bit of power practice ourselves? I mean, if you want to. We could just go hang out in the lodge” Her voice trailed off slightly towards the end, as she remembered that perhaps not everyone would be comfortable at showing their power, or using it outside training.

Honestly she was slightly nervous herself at what people would think after seeing her power. It was irrational, she knew that. Of all people the ones here would be the least likely to judge, and some of the bestial metahumans had it far worse than herself. Still, snakes tended to have a rather bad reputation.

Rosie was a tad uneasy about using her powers now, and hadn't really used her earth abilities since they had taken her. It might be irrational, but she was terrified what they might do to her now if she used them, and so she didn't reply for a few moments, trying to get a hold of herself, and not doing too good a job of it.

She bit her lip, Chloe seemed a little nervous, and so Rosie knew she wouldn't let the other girl go off alone tithe power area. She nodded and said "sure. Could be interesting, and certainly would be good" she managed to keep her voice steady, despite the underlying fear.

Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad. She missed the connection with the earth, that peaceful feeling she would get, and just the raw incredible power and beauty of the earth itself.

The plate was quickly cleared away by a humming Chloe, seemingly much more self assured now the other girl had agreed to accompany her. Chloe knew that her time at the camp would be much more bearable if she could make some good friends, which was much more likely now she was away from all those metahuman hating racists. The shapeshifter glanced back at Rosie as she waved her hand extravagantly towards the door. From what she had gleaned from the girl, it seemed that perhaps Chloe wasnt the only one who would benifit from making friends here.
@Raijinslayerwell I wouldn't actually consider that necromancy. Perhaps you need to look at a few abilities on the wiki power page and find the one that works on flesh abilities-there is one there

Raijin, if you can tell me how you will play a necromancer different to invisible, making it detailed, and such, and if you make it good, I will accept your character. I'm trying to be reasonable.

Penny
@Silver Fox@CirusArvennicus
"It wasn't just using my fire abilities. It's good to focus on weaknesses, and I foused on actual fighting, hand to hand, and weapon training. I might find myself one day without the use of my magic, for soe reason or another." Penny explained, "Maybe I'll show you a few tricks, one day, that I learned" If she could only get the fire weapons to stay formed for more then a handful of attacks, that was. "That sounds like some good training"

This was just ridiculous, pretending that they weren't looking for Karn, while Karn was pretending to ignore them. They would get no where. And Penny was tired of games, tired of manipulates, and tired of so much happening.

And it was raining. Karn was almost horrifyingly afraid of water, And there was no reaction to the wet substance falling from the sky. That was all the answer Penny needed. Even if the rain was dying off, it told her that whoever that was, it wasn't their Karn.

"Let's just get this over with, because I really don't want to play cat and mouse all day. Who the hell are you, and what are you doing within our friend?" Penny decided not to mince her words, simply cut straight to the point.

Carrie
@oblivion666@demous
Carrie absoutely refused to tell Zephyr where Masahiko was, deciding that even if it was childish, she would force him to walk about the whole city, and just hope that they avoided Masahiko. Eventually someone would think to question just why a man was walking around with a woman who clearly didn't wish to be carried.

"Find him yourself" She hissed out as she tried to turn around, tried to do anything to escape, but failing horribly. She was also trying to prevent a communication lacrima from falling out a pocket, as that was a quick link to Masahiko. Of course, so was the arena, but the lacrima was right there.

"Why the hell are you doing this, damn it!"
How did one explain just how hard it was to know someone so intimately just from a look? How did he describe how painful it was, to experience a whole life time in seconds? Harry didn't think he could.. ""You don't understand, I can see people's lives when I look in their eyes. Feel what they have felt, see what they have seen, experiene what they have experienced. Can you imagine your own life, everything, and having to experiene it all in seconds? And it's always with me, every single life I have experiened. It's always there, the voices, the personalities, the memories. Sometimes I don't know reality from what's in my head, sometimes I don't know if something is my idea, or someone else's. I'm terrified of being near someone, of being forced to look in someone eyes, or to get close to someone. I'll either live through the next few years, or go crazy, or die" Harry curled his hands into fists, feeling ill just thinking on it, and looked down at his desk again.

Dr.Meidan looked across the class, clearly waiting for quite as she did so, studying the students, leaning against the desk at the front. @Eviledd1984

I'll get a post up tomorrow. Just kinda want to relax for a day XD

That's kinda what I feel like today
Heloise was holding the gun with disgust, and it was with relief that she took the dagger, feeling the weight and the hold of it. The knife would still be useful, if only to have both her hands full. She grimaced at the gun, and not wanting to leave it behind, slung it over her shoulder by the strap, before following Xerox.

It seemed too easy, and Heloise continually looked about them, wary. And then she was distracted by the daggers Xerox produced. She smiled brightly, and quickly sorted through the daggers,, choosing ones she knew would fly true and straight when she threw them, quicky putting them all around her body where they would fit, or stay, before choosing two more to hold, she ditched the knife finally. "It's good to be back" She said, her stance relaxed now that she had an arsenal of daggers. Until the alarm was set off. She quickly grabbed her drive, and looked about, as if something was going to jump out and attack them.

As Xerox spoke with Duncan, Heloise glanced out the room. "Lets try and cut them off. We don't need to get caught again, do we?" She said, glancing over at Rachel too. She had after all been tortured more then either Xerox or herself. "Ah, but first we should see about treatment for her"
