Current "Doing your best" does not mean working yourself to the point of a mental breakdown. Its no longer your best at that point.

The word homeowner has the word "meow" in it. Good luck pronouncing it correctly ever again. You're welcome ^.^

When everything seems wrong...something goes right, and it changes darkness into light, and makes the shadows a little less daunting.

People cry, not because they are weak. It's because they've been strong for too long

the bad thing about being bullied is that every time it happens it steals a little piece of who you are if it happens enough little by little you become a little less of who you were meant to be.

Niesha

Location:building ten (medical garden)->Building Seven (rec)

Niesha looked over her shoulder at Jack, and smiled at him ”I prefer to think of it as the other way around, she corrupts me. Have...well, a good night” She said, looking back to Kristina and nodded, she reached for a plate, not even sure what she wanted, and just caught sight of Raymond falling. Wincing, Niesha at once moved to his side, desperately wanting to check him over, but figured if he could get up, then he was okay. Still, ,she watched him to ensure that everything was okay, before nodding to herself with satisfaction. She stepped back, letting him have his space, but was close enough to satisfy her concerns, as she turned to get a new plate for him, putting food on it, she caught a glance over Tatiana and Jack, and smiled to herself.

That happiness, that bright spark...looking about, Niesha was sure that people would fight for that. Hope had a way of fully people’s spirits and making them do things they might not think possible. This place had stood, and it would, even if it fell. Because it wasn’t the place that made it a community, it was the people. So she smiled and approached Ray, ”Here, Ray, some more food”, She said, giving Tiffany a smile, ”I’ll take it, for you” She said, kindly, not wanting to treat Raymond like he couldn’t do anything, and not wanting to step in with Tiffany helping, it was easier to simply be near.

Having been there to help Raymond when he came in, Niesha had rather enjoyed following up on his recovery, something that was life-long, and knew complications could come up, even years down the line. For now though, she just wanted to make sure that nothing had been jarred when he fell, she glanced back, to make sure that Kristina was getting some food for herself, as well. The girl needed something to soak up the drink she’d downed, and Niesha was going to make sure she ate.
Posting soon!
mmmm I'll probably post tonight or tomorrow.
Working on a post
Callie gave him an almost knowing smile, aware of what he had wanted to say, but hadn't. "I will" she promised, giving him a hug, and a kiss, a surprising feeling of normalcy flowing over her. It was almost as if....she was merely saying goodbye at the door, on their s3perate ways for the day. She gave him a small smile. "I'll see you later" she said softly, knowing they could be there all night, but that he needed to go, that he had responsibilities, and that she couldn't keep him from them. "I'll make breakfast" she said, nudging him towards the door
I'm still here!
Lucio

Lucio, a man of many tastes, yet was one that enjoyed the simple things, was dancing. One of the many things he did well, Lucio did it for the simple pleasure of it, and rather enjoyed making people smile. Always recognised wherever he went, it didn’t hurt to take a moment or two to make someone laugh, or smile. And that was what Lucio was all about. He danced about, his frog Kermit resigned to the motion as he swayed on Lucio’s shoulder. When he was finished, the frog drew a lot of happy sounds as he leaped off Lucio’s shoulder, jumping around the young kids that had gathered to watch. Lucio leaned back slightly and smiled, before clicking his fingers, the frog jumping back over, and into his hand. Kermit was a born show goer, but it was his colouring that really attracted people, rather exotic, he was an interesting frog.

Lucio had saved the frog when he was bit a wee-bit of a thing, and they hadn’t been parted since. Lucio nodded to the crowd, flicked them a two fingered salute, and sauntered off, content. Renting a car was rather easy, and Lucio was soon puttering off, having once more been delayed on returning to the base, the young entertainer, freedom fighter, was once more on his way. While he had other commitments, he always returned to the base, every few weeks. He’d take what missions he could, and he’d help out.

And there was always the chance he’d come across someone that could be useful to the base while he was out, on tour. Kermit sat on the dashboard, staring out the window, but looked towards Lucio as if he could read his train of thoughts. Sometimes Lucio thought that the frog could.

”Yeah, yeah, and there’s always the chance that Hana will be there” He said to Kermit, who turned back around, leaving Lucio grinning at himself. Talking to his frog. It was probably a coincidence that Kermit had turned around like that. Still, it wasn’t like Kermit was going to go blabbing to anyone. Besides, Hana was just one reason to return. There was also nudging Juliette along, in her music. The girl had some serious talent. He chuckled, and kept on driving. When he was closer to the base, however, Lucio climbed out the car, well aware that some rental companies had tracking devices, and he put his stakes on, starting off, pack over his shoulders, the frog on his shoulder.

It was a pleasant ride, and Lucio hummed to himself, piercing tunes together randomly, he just about flew across the ground, covering the distance, he soon reached the base, and grinning he skidded to a halt just outside the garage. He changed his skates-lord knew what Angela might do if he came into the base with his skates, no doubt dirty, on, and changed into his shoes, heading inside the base, quite happy. He was home. Dropping his things off in his room, Lucio went to report that he was back, soon finding out that Angela was locked away in her office, clearly in a meeting. Not wanting to disturb her, he instead retreated to the kitchen. Food was calling.

Ceri looked to her communicator when it beeped, telling her she had a message, and she opened it, bouncing slightly on the spot as she did so. Excitement flooded her and she jumped about on the spot for a moment. ”A mission, a mission, a mission!” She just about shouted excitedly. She never got a mission. It was going to be grand, she just knew it! Ceri happily leaned across the counter, reading the information the message provided. Sombra! Sombra was giving her a mission! Maybe Sombra did like her. Sombra thought she was suited for a mission! And wasn’t that something?

She giggled, reading about the escort mission. Oh, she got to have fun with overwatchies? That was just even more fun, and Ceri could already picture it in her mind. She was going to have a blast! And she’d definitely, definitely not mess it up! She’d make sure to do it just right! She would show that she was suitable for Talon, that she was a force to be reckoned with! She smiled and pushed off from the counter as she heard footsteps, quite pleased to see Selena.

Selena treated her nice. Or at least Ceri thought she did. She bounded over to the older girl, smiling brightly, and took her life in her own hands when she embraced her, ”Selena! Selena! Sombra sent me a mission! I have a mission! I’m so happy! A mission, a mission, a mission!” she chitchatted excitedly, her voice slightly higher than normal, and she stepped back, smiling brightly at Selena, until Selena’s words sunk in. ”Oh, no, what’s Sombra done to you?” She said a little worriedly. She’d hate to be on Selena’s bad side and Ceri twisted her hands in front of her chest, looking to Selena with wide eyed innocence ”plllllllleeeeeeeaaaaaasssssseeee wait to kill her until after my mission, please Selena, please? I never get missions, and I need her!” She said, then bowed her head, ”I’d imagine she’s in her office...she doesn’t let me in there….I don’t know why…”

Callie watched Alexis go, intending to talk with the girl later. There would be time enough to fix up her charm work, and for now, Callie wasn’t afraid of the book. It could be easily tamed. For now, the girl deserved a chance to rest. Still, Callie was already planning what she could do for the girl, what she could teach her. It would certainly be interesting to teach someone just coming into their magic. What was the saying? When you teach, you learn new things as well? Callie was sure that the next few months were going to be interesting, for everyone. Callie looked over at Magnus, and smiled.

”Damn right, and don’t you forget it. I’m the meanest good witch you’ll ever find” She said teasingly to Magnus, before watching him too walk away. Magnus had a ways to go, despite the age he was. They could all stand to learn something in the coming months, and it would be fascinating to see where they all ended up. Perhaps she could devine it. Or maybe something were best left as surprises.

And then Leo hugged her again, and all felt right for those few precious seconds. Leo had come into her life at a time where she could easily have fallen into a dark path, and she would forever be in his debt. He was light, warmth and security, and right then, Callie needed a little of each. Maybe more than a little. And it seemed that he needed it as well, so she was willing to give as much to the hug as she could. It was a given fact that human contact was healing, in more ways than one. Every time you touched someone, in any form of intimate contact, you transferred a little bit of spiritual energy. And it was simple fact that everyone needed to be touched, every once in awhile.

She knew her security was more then fine, yet Leo wouldn’t rest until he was sure everything was alright, so she nodded, letting him go off. She did her own check, reaching out her senses and ensuring that her spells, and wards, had the energy they required. A lot of them took energy from the air around her, and they also took a small continuous energy from her as well, something she was sure she’d be aware of if they were here for days, but for the night, Callie would be alright. She reached out beyond the wards, seeking anything dangerous out there, around her inn, but there was nothing.

Finally she moved off to her private kitchen, taking out an amulet she should have been wearing constantly, and looping it over her neck. It would warn her if there was anything bad approaching, as well as tell her if her wards were going to go down. She tidied up a little bit, and was just walking back into the sitting area when Leo returned to her. She smiled at him, and approached him, leaning up to cup his right cheek. ”Thank you, Leo, for caring” She said softly, then removed her hand and kissed his cheek.

”Now? We….plan”
I look forward to it
