II Great Pacific War 2018-2027 Caused by China. Allies with China are South and North Korea, Russia. Their enemies were Singapore, France, Philippines, Japan and Germany. Other countries joined the fray.
2018. II Great Pacific War. A war struck internally in the United Nations due to China's selfish interests of land hogging. Many people lost their homes and loved ones. The war lasted until 2027 of March. The most gruesome tortures were the Death March of Blood where war prisoners are lead to the walls of North Korea and shot dead on the inside. Followed by the Fall of the Great Wall of China where even the innocents were killed as a reminiscent to WWII's Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombing.
At the last minute of the war, South Korea betrayed the Pacific Power Alliance and joined the Nakama Power Alliance.
World Restoration 2028- 2030 It took three years for the world to recover. China is reinstated in the United Nations but further provision are to be conducted on a daily basis. In order to atone for their sins, China is to offer their firstborn children into different countries and serve for the military. Adam Pride distributed 9 powerful beings known as Level 10 Espers in 9 countries.

It should be noted that this RP will have mature themes. Fade to black will be applicable to sexual situations, but don't expect situations including drugs, gore, or some taboo subjects to garner the same treatment. This is not to say that any of the above will be done in excess, just that they may be done.
Combat will be handled on a case-by-case basis, with the GMs proctoring in case issues or disagreements arise. Should you want to script your fight, let the GMs, and your partner(s) know. Make sure all parties are in agreement. A 'scripted fight,' is one wherein the victor is decided before hand.
If a problem arises for a player in regards to the GM and they feel uncomfortable bringing it up. Go to the other GM for advice. Don't worry, we're perfectly reasonable people and nine times out of ten we'll work through it with you.
The GMs have final say on all matters--this does not mean that I cannot be swayed or convinced. Still, if something must be resolved, we will resolve it and that'll be the end of the discussion.

The Faces of Pyramid City
Not a proper organization, but rather a group chat hosted on the official D-Watch server. The group itself consists of four individuals that met through the forums of a popular online game. Despite all of them living in Pyramid City, they have never officially met in real life (or have they?)

According to PC Security, an antiestablishment crime syndicate. However that is a misnomer because it implies that they have a universal goal to follow. The exact nature of their activity is similarly erratic, with past actions ranging from mercenary to terrorist to downright peculiar. One notable event occurred a few years ago involving a Level 4 Kotori Namashiya and her school friends.

A series of independent gangs that formed a unified front after the Liulanghan began their conquest of the Pyramid City underworld. After managing to barely resist the growing influence of the LLH, the organization quickly rose to power as the second of Pyramid City's two most powerful criminal organizations as a result of backing from an anonymous benefactor (or benefactors) that have appropriated the name "Cog" (originally an acronym meaning Coalition Of Gangs) for their personal use. It is believed that it is only due to their influence that the COG hasn't dissolved into infighting.
The eclectic nature of their membership means that their activities vary depending on the gang in question. However, PC Security has come to the conclusion that their collective activities all work towards undermining their rivals or accruing resources as opposed to unfettered thuggery. Notably, none of their recent criminal activity has intentionally involved unrelated civilians.
Due to the nature of their organization, there is no central base of operations.

Kobayashi, Daigo - Dean of ENMA University. A noted asshat.
The PMC led by the eponymous Level 10 electrokinetic. They are known to accept any job so long as they are paid half of the cost up front, and are not being deliberately manipulated. They also reserve the right to quit at any time.
The organization is arranged into six distinct divisions- five operative 'fingers' and one administrative 'palm' - led by a head that is part of The Hand of God's inner circle. It's membership consists of both empowered and mundane humans, but nobody below the age of 18.

The highly secretive criminal organization whose members are identified by their featureless white masks. Nexus Industries
The organization responsible for law enforcement in Pyramid City. (On paper, anyway) While they can be seen doing activities that any police force in any major city would do on a day-to-day basis, they also have a dedicated taskforce that handles supernatural crimes.
However, Pyramid City Security as a whole is known among the public as being simultaneously competent and incompetent at their duty. Incompetent in the regard that their arrests rarely stick for the important criminals, and competent in the regard that allowing these criminals to escape ensures peace overall, a fact which the a lot of the older members of the public begrudgingly admit but younger ones don't understand.
Pyramid City Security also runs a program called "Monitors" that allows student volunteers to police the city in exchange for scholarship money. It's effectively nothing more than a glorified neighbourhood watch, and most of the members don't take it too seriously and are just in it for the employee benefits, though.
Current Status Forced into the uncomfortable, complicated position of ensuring Pyramid City's factions are properly kept in check by each other.

The umbrella term describing creation of phenomena through specialized manipulation and expenditure of prana.
Abilities are naturally acquired through a high-stress event that radically alters one or more of the brain's projection areas, granting them the ability to regulate and generate prana, as well as attuning the relevant sense or senses to a specific facet of reality. The former allows manifestation of power, while the latter dictates the nature of that manifestation and grants an appropriate type of extrasensory input.
First generation ability users have the ability to pass down an ability of related nature - often but not always a more limited version of their own, in the case of espers - to their offspring, but even with less strict requirements for awakening, these offspring do not possess a 100% chance of obtaining an ability. Whether an individual has inherited a power is usually revealed during puberty, and not awakening then does not prevent them from doing so artificially or traditionally further down the line.
Although many have tried to artificially create awakening events to varying levels of success, only Adam Pride of Pyramid City has devised a reliable, safe (assuming no neurological discrepancies) method to artificially awaken individuals. That said, artificial awakening of any sort is heavily biased towards creating espers for some unknown reason, and tend to have less hard limits at the cost of being more difficult to adjust to.
Due to the subjective nature of natural awakenings, powers awakened this way are typically drawn from an aspect of an individual's life experience, while those obtained artificially are more random.
Furthermore, abilities are divided into two categories - ESP or magic - depending on their mode of manifestation.
The ability type characterized by direct interface through attunement with a singular physical facet of reality. Most abilities dealing with manipulating the environment in some way tend to fall under this category.
Another distinguishing factor is their extrasensory capabilities, hence the name, which are far greater and more varied than those of magicians as a result of their attunement to the physical world. These capabilities always have something to do with the nature of their ability (ex. seismic sense for a geokinetic, slowed perceptions for a speedster) and are often needed to facilitate fine control in the first place. This sensory effect remains passive until approximately Level 6, where an esper is able to disable or enable it at will.
Outside of family lines of espers, natural espers are a far less frequent occurrence than natural magicians. That said, they are still the more populous of the two ability types.
The ability type characterized by indirect manifestation through implements that contain the user's prana. The name comes from the fact that magic-users in fiction are often seen using enchanted objects.
Strictly speaking, all magic is the ability to imbue non-living matter with prana, granting it the ability to carry out a predetermined function that violates the limits of common sense. The key difference between mages is what they have been attuned to upon awakening. As a general rule, the narrower one's attunement, the more powerful the items they can create. Effectively, this means the maximum degree of power a mage has inversely correlates with the versatility of their arsenal.
All magicians share a single extrasensory capability: the ability to sense where objects with their prana are at any time and any links made of their own prana. They also possess the ability to revoke prana from an implement at any point. Due to containing prana, a magician's creations are considered under the jurisdiction of the resistance effect.
In contrast to espers, artificial mages are few and far between.
The official system used by Pyramid City Security to abstractly classify threats and quickly establish an appropriate response. Originally developed for response against ability-using criminals, the system has been adopted by Pyramid City administration to classify all ability-users documented by administration. As a result, the current method is a syncreticism of the two schools of thought, which consider levels a measure of effective threat and theoretical capacity, respectively.
It has little do with the power level arguments that occur on Pyramid City's official message boards, despite being constantly being cited in said arguments. This is especially jarring because what these levels officially mean is not revealed to the public for security reasons; although many people rightfully consider it a general estimate of an individual's power.
Level Scale
Level 1 - A normal civilian could cope with this ability.
Level 2 - An exceptional civilian could cope with this ability.
Level 3 - A group of trained individuals or a substandard ability user are required to deal with the ability. Civilians have become a non-factor in traditional combat, save those leveraging exceptional assets.
Level 4 - A full squad of trained individuals or a small group of well-equipped ones should be able to deal with the ability.
Level 5 - An average ability user or a substandard ability user backed by a squad of trained individuals could be reasonably expected to be able to deal with this ability.
Level 6 - An average ability user back by a squad of trained individuals could be reasonably expected to be able to deal with this ability.
Level 7 - A small group of average ability users could be reasonably expected to be able to deal with this ability. Two squads of trained individuals equipped appropriately have a significant chance of coping.
Level 8 - An exceptional ability user could be reasonably expected to be able to deal with this ability. Mundane combatants have become a non-factor in traditional combat, save those leveraging exceptional assets.
Level 9 - A squad of average ability users are required to deal with this ability, at minimum.
Level 10 - Another Level 10 is required to be able to deal with a power of this calibre. In the absence of a Level 10, a sound plan of action, significant assets (intellectual and technologically), a multitude of exceptional ability users, and a willingness to sacrifice them are required at minimum.
Notes Due to its nature as an abstraction, certain circumstances can alter one's effective threat level from their theoretical level
The system assumes hostile conflict between abilities specialized for combat, but can be applied to utility abilities requiring similar measures to counteract.
Substandard, average, and exceptional ability users are defined as those of Level 1-3, Level 4-6, and Level 7-9, respectively.
The term trained individual typically refers to Pyramid City Security officers, but can also apply to anyone with a similar degree of general combat training.
At its most basic, prana is the energy inherent to every person that makes possible the use of abilities and underlies their biological process. In layman's terms, it is understood as the "life force" of an individual used to fuel the phenomena created by abilities.
Although prana exists in all individuals, it behaves differently manner if one has awakened an ability. Because normal humans cannot expend and replenish prana like empowered humans can, the key difference between ability users and non-ability users can be considered the fact that they have dynamic or static prana, respectively.
That said, prana isn't necessarily completely irrelevant for normal humans; abnormal prana are believed to be responsible for physiological anomalies.
Also referred to as mana, ki, aura or whatever fictional spiritual energy is the current vogue.
Pyramid City
A phenomenon linked to prana that prevents abilities from acting within the boundary of the human body.
The current explanation behind this is that the concentration of prana within the human body prevents external prana from exerting its influence. This is supported by evidence of residual prana building up through what is commonly known as "the prana shield".
Past approximately Level 5, excess prana is capable of creating physical interference through the creation of a transparent barrier. This shield does not begin to regenerate until an individual's prana has reached its max capacity, and can be expended to fuel abilities should an ability user run out of internal prana.
Due to this phenomenon, it is believed that an individual's prana behaves uniquely or otherwise has unique identifying factors.
Timeline
The living legends of Pyramid City. Although technically speaking, they’re not actually based in Pyramid City, so the title is a bit misleading. However they are commonly associated with the city among laypeople, notably due to the worldwide impact of Seneca Pride and Kotori Namashiya in promoting the Pyramid City agenda. That said, many of them have their own allegiances and keep their true identities a secret from even Adam Pride, so the current roster is considered an unofficial watchlist as much as it is a commemoration of achievement.
Common misconceptions are that inclusion on this roster is a measure of strength and that beating a Level 10 will automatically place you on the list, and that the order in which they are listed is somehow related to how powerful they are between each other.
Codenames are issued by Adam Pride and are drawn from mythological beings, apparently to reinforce the idea of Level 10s as beyond human. These are used in press releases and official government files for Level 10s that have chosen to retain anonymity, and certain other situations.

One of the ideas I have here is, let it be modern as in modern enough in terms of shinobi that is in Boruto generation but not literally does it have to be set on Boruto gen. As for the Uchiha problem, I'll only let 1 player to be an Uchiha, so it's a first come first serve :D. Having the MS power ups, is inevitable so even though I will allow that, X player of the Uchiha will only have one MS power if a timeskip does happen. Having MS doesn't mean you are the greatest fyi.
Fairy Tail. This is the most fun RP I have worked with friends and other rpers. In a story standpoint, there shouldn't be a worry. I love the creativity of job quests that everyone comes up with but that doesn't mean we'll be relying on that, there will still be a story. Now onto the problem, Slayer Magic. I'll shout out a tribute to the 7 theme; We will only have: 3 Dragon Slayers. I don't care what Gen are you. In this version, Dragons exist :D 2 God Slayers. Gods exist too. 2 Devil Slayers. I'm a bit iffy on this one.
Nope. You can't eat each others elements, slayers to slayers.
Dual elements is out of the question, though I may change my mind. Dragon Force is a request and a power up I will freely give depending on the setting. Eg. Ethernano that is abundant. the 7 Slayers will be a first come first serve too. I would love to see chaos xD cuz it's better not to reveal the elements of the DSs are. I'd like to see a wtf surprise in match ups. For example: Ice Mage vs Ice Mage. Suddenly X character is an Ice Slayer/ WTF!!

I remember the very first actual RP I was ever in, it was an RP based on the anime/manga series "Toaru Majitsu no Index" (A certain magical Index) call A Certain Chaotic Academy (ACCA) run by @Masaki Haruna and @Hebigami Shiho, friends that I can only hope to see again one day. I remember how we'd used to go through several pages of OOC and maybe even a solid page's worth or two of IC a day at a pace I haven't seen since. I had never been so involved in an RP since then, refreshing ever few seconds to see a new post, staying up into the wee hours of dawn chatting and RPing OOC, to say the least, it was quite something amazing.
Hell, it what was probably what go me so hooked into RPing in the first place; a sense of communion that the socially awkward me at the time had never felt. I used to be envious of my classmates who had social media friends in the hundreds and their real popularity in school (I was young and stupid back then okay?); but ACCA sort of fulfilled all of my social media fantasies in the dumbest, cheesiest way possible.
However, like all good things, ACCA slowly died as its GMs faded and interest waned as characters and players started dropping out, to this day I haven't seen many of the people who were originally part of it in a long time. But I have never forgot it, nor the character I had used for it which has since undergone a myriad number of edits, revision and rewrites.
The other RP that was the most memorable was a scifi NRP run by a wonderful bastard-of-a-friend, @Keyguyperson in something that I sometimes now call "key-fi". It was the first scifi RP I was in and probably the first NRP that I could ever really remember, all of that research and picture hunting as well as me feeling like an idiot before the people who'd talk OOC about theoretical physics and the science of space travel, lasers and xenobiology. Its also where I met the wonderfully amazing @RomanAria so I'm unsure if I could ever forget that RP.
