Bio

Very well, where do I begin?

My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet.

My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard, really. At the age of twelve, I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles.

There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking. I highly suggest you try it.

One day I'm going to make a throwaway villain called Kangaroo King with his assistant Organ-Lass. The former a man covered in pouches. The latter a woman with an impossibly stick-like figure that could only be possible with the complete lack of all vital organs.

Organ-Lass also had to have half of each foot removed, making them impossibly tiny.

There's also my favorite superhero game of all time...

Prior to Arkham, that was the reigning champ for me as far as Batman games went. Though the Batman Begins game wasn't terribly far behind, despite it's flaws.
The Telltale Batman game is pretty good, at least the first season

I can attest to the second season being good aswell. I still need to do another playthrough with opposite/different choices.
Honestly, I would kill to see a Punisher game in the style of the Max Payne games, or a Question game done by Telltale. But that's just me.

Telltale Question I'm in agreement for, but did you ever play The Punisher on Xbox? I actually really liked it, even if the end boss made absolutely no sense.

EDIT: Shit. Got beaten to it.

But yeah, let's just say that prior to 2009, Batman was in the same boat as every other superhero when it came to gaming. Except for Superman, who seems continually the most shit on in terms of video gaming. There are multiple X-Men games and at least one Wolverine game better than every single Superman game.

And Spider-Man, while having a great early 2000's succession of games, eventually suffered a downward spiral soon after Spider-Man 2 raised the bar by introducing free-roam. I'm hoping that the PS4 Spider-Man game breaks the curse that he's had with sub-par videogame outings, but I dunno. I've been burned too many times.
@Lord Wraith @Master Bruce

I'll see that and raise you...

Spider-Man and Batman always get good video games. Everyone else on the other hand....

I wouldn't say always...

Since we don't have a PC Daredevil yet, I'll be happy to have Bruce sub in for the card game.

I mean if I keep post 3-4 posts every 1-2 weeks, I think I could get a lot done by that point. That said, I would be lying if I said I wasn’t surprised. These games have traditionally [on superherohype] run for ten months at a time so to condense it down to two-to-three is a little shocking. It’s not a bad thing, but I was expecting to tell a lot more “year one” stories then the current timeframe will allow – and that’s presuming I keep my current pace of writing for this RP. I’ll be still trying to make things work, though I do have one question.

Will you be planning the Silver Surfer Arc to be written in late August or early September?

Running for that long was never intended by us in any of those games, and to be honest, is part of the problem of why so many games burned out over there. We would say "Oh, it'll be a six month game, for sure."... only to end up being ten, like you said, because people (myself included) didn't commit to the idea of treating the game like it had a beginning, middle, and end. So part of why we're gonna try out three with this game is to see how it affects post stability, because we're riding a high right now and I want to make sure the game remains this fun.

As for the so-far-absent Surfer, his first big appearance is being plotted at the moment. But the endgame for him (and his master) will appear in-game closer to the actual date, for sure. I'm not going to mention a specific date on that, just because I want to know where the game is whenever we get closer to September to determine when certain things will happen. But I'd wager that it's going to be within September's approach, as sort of a "Third Act" to signal the end is a'comin.
*Finishes what I assume is the 100th post*

*sees I'm 101*

"Master Bruce, you son of a bitch."

Is it too early to do awards? Because I think this wins Best OOC Post for me.
Except now when you post we'll forget that's there because we'll already be another page or two deep, and never read what you write.

Well, won't you all be lost...
