Bio

Very well, where do I begin?

My father was a relentlessly self-improving boulangerie owner from Belgium with low grade narcolepsy and a penchant for buggery. My mother was a fifteen year old French prostitute named Chloe with webbed feet.

My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament.

My childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When I was insolent I was placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard, really. At the age of twelve, I received my first scribe. At the age of fourteen a Zoroastrian named Vilma ritualistically shaved my testicles.

There really is nothing like a shorn scrotum... it's breathtaking. I highly suggest you try it.

I just find it terrifying how all the promos around Titans are thus far just Robin.

"Look, we got one right!"

I think that moreso boils down to "Hey, look! A Batman thing you might recognize!", because that's been Warner Bros' logline from day one. If there is a Bat-character to milk money off of, milk they shall.
Admittedly, I've always been somewhat weirded out by the blue as a choice. Spider-Man seems like a character meant for red and black, because the majority of spiders seem to be black, with the red being evocative of black widow spiders.

Then again, it's always been strange that Batman wears a black and gray costume with yellow accents (hell, sometimes ditching the black altogether for blue) when the most common bats are brown.

Whatever. Crazy animal-themed people and their color blindness.
I just want the Superior Spider-Man suit. Please, Insomniac.

While I know which one you probably mean, I'm hoping for Otto's first. That's one of my favorite of Spidey's outfits in recent years.

I'll also fully accept the Raimi suit, since that's my favorite spin on the classic look.
The main costume's white accents are ugly. But I already know based off of interviews with the developers that there'll be unlockable costumes, including the classic Spidey design and a number of others, so it's not a big deal. As long as I don't have to grind to be able to get a halfway decent look.
@Inkarnate How does that work?
Admittedly, I do find formatting to be annoying, but I just like color-coded text too much to give it up.

If there's one thing I wish I could change about the Guild, it would be the overall forum color scheme, because I desperately miss being able to edit black text to let the colors pop more. Finding a suitable color for everyone in Gotham has been a goddamn nightmare. I'm still not entirely satisfied with the ones I picked for Selina Kyle and Harvey Dent.
Update: I have too many supporting characters and formatting is becoming a son of a bitch in every post, so I'm dropping character dialogue colors. Except maybe Gwen's just for crossover situations

Coward.

Out of protest to this, I'm gonna relentlessly format every single character response in my stuff, no matter how minor, because I both fear change and find colors to be pretty.
See, this is what I want to see: viciously insulting eachother over nothing and out of nowhere.

That's what binds us as a community.

Like @Lord Wraith's many, many as-of-yet unwritten sex scenes.
Anyone else weirdly attracted to MB when he uses his "GM voice?" No, just me? Alright, well, I'll just mark it down in my journal to talk about with my therapist later...

I WAS SUMMONED?

@Sep I gave it a laugh cuz I'm a sucker for puns. What else can I say? :P

Hopefully it's cool for me to reply like this lol

You're good.

*keeps eyeing the character application page*

Say. That's a real nice application, isn't it?

Be a shame if someone...

Didn't apply.
