The last of the Apothecaries were killed in the Third War for Armageddon, with less than 96 lions left alive. At the war's end the chapter were given a cruiser by Black Templars and a force of black Templars to accompany them and assist in the rebuilding of their chapter, so I guess If I wanted to I could play a newly trained Apothecary however he certainly wouldn't be in the Deathwatch. I would just like to point out that this is not some home-brew chapter, the story is very much in the lore.

Alright, I didn't read what you posted before, but all I want to say is, yes, Jbcool is correct, I just wanted to know. You are correct, if all of their Apothicaries were killed, the last thing they would do is give them one of the only people capable of preserving the remains of their chapter. I love the almost-decimated chapters, it's always an interesting story to see what a desperate group will do to retain their honour and their chapter. May be an interesting story to see how low one lone apothecary will sink to assure his chapter remains.

Also, just because something is in lore, doesn't mean it makes sense. After all, the Blood Angels-Necrons BFFs story is still in canon, as is the Grey Knights in Hats incident.

That's not a "YOU ARE WRONG AND YOU SHOULD FEEL BAD!" Statement, it's more a "Oh Gee-dubs, you so crazy!"

Wait, how would a chapter survive without its Apothecaries. The Apothecaries are the ones that implant Gene-seed as well as look after said gene-seed. Surely they would either just get disbanded or train new ones.

@mattmanganonTerminator or Devastator, please choose one, and not a blending of both - I'd look up Terminator Honours and Devastators, they're quite different; apart from that, I'll allow it. Interesting background.

I meant that he is a Terminator that trained as a Devastator. I noticed a distinct lack of any ranged ability in the team and decided to fill that role.

Chapter: Knights Repentant

Chapter Demeanour: Extremely penetant, they all harbor the knowledge of the crimes of their brothers. They will never tell of their true founding. However, they do have a large amount of Heresy-era equipment, which gives them an immense technological advantage, utilizing equipment as technologically advanced as even the mighty Cataphractii/Tartarus Terminator armours. Although they, like the rest of the Astartes, guard these, as they have no way of reproducing them. As such, they will always scour every battlefield for their dead to recover their equipment.

Personal Demeanour: Quiet in voice, loud in weaponry. He is a Devastator through and through. Although he was born in this millenia and was simply raised in the chapter, he still feels a great deal of penetance for what the Geneseed of his brothers has done. Apart from that, he is actually one of the more merry of his number. He has a strong "We each share the risk, so we each share the reward" ethic.

Power Armour History: A suit of Cataphractii Terminator armour. Much like the rest of the armour of its kind, it was built by the Techpriests of Mars and given to the 411th expeditionary fleet, before they were lost in the Warp for 10,000 years. The armour has seen little combat, though. He tells people that it was a relic, recovered from a Space Hulk, but, in truth, it is merely almost as good as new. The previous owner of the armour, as well as the previous owner of the Geneseed, both fell to an Ork Shokk Attak Gun.

Description:

Much like the rest of the Space Marines, he is a tall man of 7'8 and built like a herculean hero. Under his helmet, he has a medium length, shaggy, black, beard and short, raven hair. He has a slight scar above his left eye where an Ork Choppa hit him and a bullet scar on his stomach. He is knicknamed a "Scarless" by his brothers. All of his brothers that arrived at the beginning, had to cut their own wrists and use their own blood as water to scrub the old heraldry from their armour. As such, they all have scars from the event.

His armour, usually white in colour, has been painted black for service in the Deathwatch.

History: As a child in a middle-class family, he spent his early life helping his father with his delivery service. As such, he was trained in using rudimentary vehicles, such as walker-lifters, trucks and even a small shuttle that his father used (He let him park and take off, sometimes) These helped shape him into the man he is, with a strong, moral work ethic.

When he was 15, the fleet made a scheduled stop at their world for recruitment and supplies. The Chaplains descended upon the world, with the blessing of the Governer, like a rain, snatching up as many boys as they believed that their gene-seed would take to. He was one of the boys. He passed the tests and was implanted with the seed. A number of the others that were taken with him didn't survive the proceedure, but he did.

During his tenure as a Scout, he found a natural affinity to heavy weapons, utilizing a Missile Launcher. When he was finally allowed to take a doctrine, he chose to continue with his heavy weapons.

Over the many years of service, he finally managed to make his way up to the rank of Sternguard. Then, for his actions in a Campaign against Warboss Squigsmasha, where he personally killed the Warboss by gunning the vile Ork to the ground, he was rewarded with Terminator Honours. He was then asked to represent the chapter in the Deathwatch, along with several of his other Brothers.

Equipment and Armament:

Cataphractii Terminator armour (Much heavier than standard Dominator pattern Terminator armour and far less maneuverable. However, this is due to it's thick ceramite plating. This means that his armour is, by far, harder to move around in. As such, this makes it perfect for the Devastator, who draws a line across the galaxy and forbids all foes from crossing.)
Reaper-Pattern Autocannon (A twin-linked Autocannon that is slung under 1 arm.)
Power Fist (Although he very rarely uses it, it is his basic form of melee attack.)
Missile Rack (mounted atop his armour, carries 12 rockets that he can let loose in a single, terrifying barrage)

Battobīmu-ha: Closing her eyes, she crosses her hands across her face, before thrusting her hands out in front of her, sending a purple beam at her opponent.

Solar Flare: spreading her fingers wide and placing her middle fingers to the side of her eyelids, it creates a flash of light as bright as the sun. This can fry the retina's of anyone looking at her. Unfortunately, this also blinds herself. It was a technique created by her master to take advantage of her own impairment.

Personality: A heavyhanded, overbearing individual. Although her power level doesn't seem to be very high, this is because she was originally trained as an elite... 1000 years ago... After an incident in her training, she was bundled into a pod and sent to another planet in stasis. She isn't quite sure what happened, all she knows was... Well, that it was bad. She is thoroughly convinced that she is better than everyone else.

Due to being trained in a style of fighting designed to compliment a lack of eyesight, she will sometimes blindfold herself to fight.

Bio: Originally from the Saiyan homeworld 1000 years ago. She was born with an incredibly high power level and was trained as a Saiyan Elite. However, an accident caused her to be transfered to the sleeper program, to be sent to a weak planet and conquer it. Unfortunately, an accident caused the planet, that she was to be sent to, to be destroyed. As such, she never woke from stasis and her pod travelled the universe for a long time until finally, it crash landed on earth. It was here that she was found by a blind old woman. The woman's name was Yeoh. Naturally, as a Saiyan, Pota's first instinct was to fight her. Pota was swiftly defeated as it turned out that Yeoh was the founder of the Bat-style of Kung-Fu. Although Pota was far stronger than her, Yeoh's amazing speed and ability to turn her opponents strengths against them meant that Pota was no match for her in a fight.

Pota was raised to learn the style of fighting blind, she spent 4 years blindfolded in order to learn how to effectively master living without her sight. Yeoh telling her "If you can fight without your eyes, then you can fight with them." Pota fought every day. Each fight taught her a little more about how to rely on her other senses. Upon mastering the art, she removed her blindfold and saw how beautiful the world was, now that she was at peace with it. This was much different than they had taught her in the Saiyan Elite. She now felt the need to protect the world.
