| P H Y S I C A L D E S C R I P T I O N : | Standing at five feet nine inches and weighing in at 127 pounds, Norah’s a sort of beauty queen with literal ice in her veins. She has a rounded face with a pointed chin, and a hard jawline. She sports no visible blemishes on her face, having been lucky enough to never be cursed with acne. Her platinum blonde hair is normally kept short in the back and long towards the front, her bangs hanging parted on the left and down to her neck. She sports a pair of full lips and a down-turned nose. Her eyes are an unsettling ice blue, highlighted by thin eyeliner and mascara. Overall, she has a curvy figure.
Norah has a famed hourglass figure and an even distribution of sexual appeal. She proudly sports a pair of 34C breasts and a posterior to compliment them. Her posture is damn-near perfect and she walks with purpose, often making small gestures to those she passes while getting where she needs to go. If standing still, her hands will often either find their ways to her hips, or cross idly under her chest. While seated, her back remains straight and her legs cross neatly almost always. The air immediately around her chills noticeably, dropping by about ten degrees Fahrenheit.
Norah’s fashion sense is a little… eccentric, to say the least. While most of it consists of skinny jeans, tank-tops, and sweats, she owns a jumpsuit that she wears surprisingly often. On top of that, she has an amethyst-colored leather coat that everything matches with. It has a heavily accented fur collar and gloves to match. Everything she has is wearable in the winter, though to her, it’s year-round attire. In case it wasn’t clear, amethyst is her favorite color.
▼ | P E R S O N A L I T Y : | Cold and tactical are the words that make up much of Norah Simard’s personality. And she knows it. Never one to play victim, she’s brutally honest with most and will own up to everything she says or does. One can expect the truth from her, and not much else beside it. She expects the same from others, though understands that everyone, including her, has secrets they would rather not share. She’s one to think that someone should make use of every resource at their disposal, whether or not it’s honorable. Weaknesses were meant to be exploited, after all. She also has something of a sweet tooth.
▼ | B A C K S T O R Y : | Born to a wealthy family in Quebec, Canada, Norah Simard’s life started off fairly simple. As the younger of two sisters, she grew up in the shadow of musical accomplishment. Not necessarily a bad thing, the house was always filled with the beautiful sound of the violin. The only issue that came from this was that the parents of these two didn’t pay much attention to the younger sister. Lucky for them, she didn’t need much help once she could walks and talk.
Things, for lack of a better word, were good for the Simard family. The sisters generally got along well, the parents rarely fought, and money wasn’t an issue. Overall, she had a very uneventful life. Go to school, get good grades, own the stage, things like that.
When high school came around, she joined the drama club and loved it, playing every character given to her the best she could. Though, as a freshman, these roles were limited to one background character and a supporting one in the second semester. She was good though, better than most that took to the stage… and she made it known. Every action was perfect to the character, every line exactly how it was written and annunciated perfectly. She owned the stage, whether it was from the spotlight or high up stage. Some in the club were jealous of her skill, others glad to finally have someone of good caliber on board.
When Norah’s sophomore year started, things changed. Quite dramatically, as she woke up one day to find her entire room frozen, the floor a skating rink and icicles hanging from the ceiling. She was able to interpret this as a single thing; she was a Metahuman, and her power had something to do with ice. Needless to say, her parents freaked out a little when they found out their daughter was capable of manipulating anything related to ice, but they were still glad to have her. So things mostly stayed the same, just with everything staying a few feet away from her because the air around here was always cold. Except in the summer, where she became a blessing.
In order to help refine her powers from being dead useless for anything, she started to attend a school specifically for Metas, where she transcended her entire class. As a result, she received an invitation onto the Promise, and has been there for a year already.

▼ | P O W E R D E S C R I P T I O N : | Again, to those who have played Dota 2, Norah’s powers are based off of Crystal Maiden. If you haven’t, here we go.
Scientifically called Cryokinesis, Norah has the ability to create and manipulate ice. While it’s a common element for Metas to have control over, it’s not something to be underestimated. She has the ability to chill or freeze the air in a designated area, cause cold snaps, and pretty much cause anything pertaining to a walking blizzard. She can also provide herself with a form of armor, dense ice forming around parts of her body to give her some extra durability and protect her from hazards. An icy wind can be projected from her hands, sharp shards of ice or snow included, propelled by the gale.
From a standpoint of utility, she can mend the wounds of others by freezing an isolated part of their body, essentially becoming a cast and an ice pack in one. She’s also able to control climates, to an extent. If someone wants an artificial winter, she’s the first one you could go to.
▼ | L I M I T S | W E A K N E S S E S : | As expected on the Promise, she isn’t able to access the full spectrum of her powers, though she has great control over what she already has. Unchained, she could accidently freeze entire rooms and cause unwieldy blizzards, putting just about everyone on the station in danger. Extreme fatigue from excessive power usage is really the only thing that could put her in danger of ashing.
Unoriginal but true, Norah fairs poorly against any form of heat and makes a bad roommate because of it, unless she gets put together with someone that doesn’t mind the cold. The potency of her powers changes with the temperature, meaning that if she’s in a boiler room, it will take much more energy to create a snowflake than the same task in a freezer, for example.
Because of how structured ice is, she has an inherit weakness to Cerebral-based Metas. Anchors prevent her from extending her reach beyond her immediate area, meaning that she can’t freeze a glass of water across the room like she normally can.
-Internal body temperature sits around 54 degrees Fahrenheit.

-Can safely interact with extremely cold substances, such as liquid nitrogen and dry ice.
