Chunks of rock and earth floated up toward the sky, suspended in the air and frozen in time, like the pillar they lay upon... The world around them is crumbling, falling apart at the seams as a dark purple star shines overhead, shrouded by an everlasting fog around them while sparks of energy streak over the skies. Floods of blackened ichor, like tar, was spread all about, like millions of spiderwebs and oceans blanketing the surface of this place. A world devoid of anything natural; twisted and broken beyond repair.*
