Oh most definitely. Each of the 5 locations will have a "family leader name" of sorts, and each location will have a bastard name to tag along with it. I'm still deciding on names, which area I want to hone in on, and what the bastard names will be- but I can say a definite yes to the availability of bastards.

I was just about to comment that Witcher style magic would be great! Hot babes casting spells and shit (and maybe a hot Geralt here or there - different strokes for different folks). Yeah, this looks pretty good!

In regards to the scale of the world and the families in it, I would go for the minimal approach. As Buddha rightfully said, lack of interactions in RPs are like instant death for them. That's the tricky part with these types of RPs, you want to get everyone together to get a lot of interaction but having everyone together reduces the scale of the RP and the potential for devious plots.

If I were you (and this is just a thought, don't take much sense from it), I'd shape the RP into like a hybrid Nation RP with focuses on armies and states but also a focus on character interactions. Timing is a key issue as well - don't get locked down on a single day. Take from that as you wish, I'll just go and look pretty in the corner!

Thank you so much for the input! As I am piecing things more together, we are definitely going to do something in a much smaller scale focusing on 2-3 families versus the entire world. Things will be mentioned here and there and will effect other parts of the world during times BUT, for the most part it's going to be focused on two families trying to get their respected parties into the leadership role.

also this is weird saying that i love hot magic babes. But expect my romance to be for comedic purposes. ( because i dont like rping romanceing on the internet) will still screw someone if it means becoming a lord though.
