Bɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ
Sixth child, and only daughter of Wesley and Ellen Knoll; Annette was born on a muggy summer night in the bath tub of her pa's ranch in Dawson. Wesley had delivered every one of his children, and plenty of animals- but no one had seen him ever smile that large until he heard that baby girl first cry out. She was treated like a little princess, but was able to keep up with the boys, climbing a few trees and getting her knees scraped a few times in the whirlwind of growing up.

As her brothers moved on and found their own families, Nettie stayed behind and helped her mother and father on the ranch, their old age quickly catching up to their overworked bones. Ma' went first, quietly in her sleep but Pa' kept on holding on, waking up a little bit later every day. Nettie took all the chores upon herself, pushing harder and longer until she too felt the stress. She was over 20 and hadn't found a man, besides the ranch hands that came and go with the seasons and old perverts who wanted to shoot the last of their remaining seed in someone's hot hole before they kicked the bucket.

Sitting at the kitchen table, hand in hand, Wesley spoke to his daughter, their matching bright blue eyes looking at one another. "I gotta sell the farm to Richard Dawson. For us." he said, and Nettie tossed his hand down. "No!" she yelled, standing up. How dare he throw away everything they had worked so hard to keep? "Is it money you need? I'll get it. I'll work harder. I'll do more." she pleaded, her eyes welling up as she shook in anger. "Nettie..we have no choice." Wesley started before another boisterous "No!" escaped from Annette's petite frame. "Don't fucking take this from me. I did this for you. I won't stop." she yelled again, storming off to her room. The door slammed. Ending the conversation and the night. By morning Annette had already taken her father's revolver and one of their horses and took off into the town.

She wanted Richard Dawson dead.

Yes! @manapool1 Much better, thank you for that- it was a great intro, just needed a little adjustment for us players. I know you did that so we all could get to the right place and not end up in total different areas right the get go- but this way lets us be a little more creative. I was able to get my post up now ^^
Over the weekend Giovanna had been being lectured by her parents, grandma, and older brother. They were a supportive type of lecture, saying how important this opportunity was, and not often did they let kids redeem their mistakes like this. "I know, I know." she spoke, her hands waving in front of herself. Gia would admit that she too was happy for the chance to do this project. As she laid in bed that night she looked over the packet several times, it was going to be tough, but she was willing to work hard to achieve her goals and to be able to graduate on time. She planned on going to cosmetology school and become a hairdresser or makeup artist, she wasn't quite sure yet.

When the morning arrived Giovanna got ready for the day as she would anytime during her school year. She hated being woken up early, but struggled through it every day before, today wouldn't be any different. Sitting in the passenger seat of her father's car he had prepared an ice coffee for her and handed it to her with a gentle smile, "You will do just fine princess, I believe." he leaned over and kissed her cheek. Gia was slightly on the spoiled side, but she tried not to take advantage of it.

In silence they drove to the school.

Hopping out of the car, Gia adjusted her black high waisted shorts and black tee shirt. She was dressed in all black, a sign of mourning as she realized her whole summer would be spent inside the school and not with her friends enjoying the sun. "Bye Papa, I'll call you when i'm done." she called, as she walked towards the school building. She sipped on her iced coffee through painted red lips as she walked through the eerily quiet school. Walking to the classroom they had met in that Friday, Gia realized she had been pretty early compared to her peers. She walked in to the room and took a seat, her packet on the table as she looked through her purse for a spare pen or pencil.
