It was rare to find Kijani so giddy, It made Connor smile, "Well, it should be pretty simply to analyze, how have you been testing it?" He asked, unable to help himself from already thinking on what might need to be done. "Are you using the water resistance paper we created as well?" he asked, "How do you get it to stay together, is it a conscious effort to do so?"

Connor had seen Kijani work with her paper before, and so had no doubt that this was possible, but still couldn't help himself asking the questions, wanting to know more, seeming to have forgotten about classes

"Yes, it does take effort. However, I use lightweight paper, so it's less of a strain. It likes to cling to itself, so it's more like..." Kijani gestured with her hands while trying to come up with a suitable explanation. "Like running a current through magnets, I guess? Is that correct?" She shrugged slightly. "In any case, I wasn't able to use the resistant paper we made. There's not enough of it, and it doesn't... flex as well as the plain stuff."

Mike stared at the gem quite surprised before he coughed and put the gem away as he said "Oh your in luck, I'm doing that class as well. I don't know why I'm doing it but I though why not, it might be fun". He smiled at her before he said "Follow me then, and I shall take you to class where you'll have to sit and grow very bored with everything that is happening believe me. Using your power is Power management is a lot more fun then anything else is, at least for me in any case". He made a fireball appear in his hand before he made it vanish again and smiled at Kassy before he showed her the door to class and took a deep breath.

"Oh! That's excellent! You're a fire controller..." Kassy looked cheerfully at the fire before Mike extinguished it. "There are so many sorts of people here. I can't wait to meet them all." From her pack, she took a large, reusable water bottle and drank. She seemed to drain the whole thing in a matter of seconds. "And perhaps there's somewhere that I can fill this up again?"

i'm sorry for the delay. got hit with life stuff, a cold, and my period at the same time, so every moment that hasn't been 'i need to find a place and a job NOW' has been pain of various kinds, and sleep.

i'm not ok. i have the reply in my head starting with devika all 'if you need to puke go around the corner' and when i go to write t it's stuck.

Are you guys cool with the concept of 'special needs' dorms, that not only cover disabilities of various kinds, but also include students whose powers require special environments?

I know some of you remember Sue/Echo who could turn sound into power, and had to have a completely soundproof dorm?

Imagine various dorms like that.

For example, Kassy's has a large pool in the floor in lieu of a bed, and an air humidifier, among other things.
