It entertains me greatly that you've figured out that Jin is one of those people who can't be left without something to occupy them. It's one of the traits/flaws I've kept on her for years (I'm talking like 15+ years here) and I'm uncertain that I described it as such in her profile. And yet, you understand. That makes me happy.

^_^ Imagine a cute little 6 year old surrounded by gun parts, and one foster dad assassin who is somewhere between impressed, surprised and really, really upset. Baby Jin is so much fun.

Holding Kijani close in the hug, Connor decided that that was the best thing about the day so far. "Well, how about we go for a stroll and find somewhere quite to talk?" Apart from the fact the school was full of students, there was the increased security. In anycase, it would simply be nice to have Kijani to himself, for a little bit.

Besides, it was a nice day. They might as well take advantage of the free hours, and have a little bit of fun as well.

"I would like that." She'd like nothing more than a whole quiet day with Connor. Maybe they could make up some of the time now, and some later. Kijani slipped her hand into his, smiling up at him. "Let's walk. Tell me how your summer went. I know you worked with your dad mostly, but..." She shrugged slightly. "You seem different somehow. Like, your confidence level got an upgrade." She grinned wide, stroking his chest with a fingertip.

"It is insanely attractive."

The second the announcement went out overhead and throughout the school, Nakajima looked up to one of the many speakers stationed around the school, she listened to the announcement telling her that all of the morning classes were canceled. She looked over to Jin who looked like she calmed down a bit, after hearing Jin say she was hungry and asking what Naka wanted to do. Emily smiled before saying." Well, I want to make sure you not hungry for one thing and I guess whatever happens after that, happens." Nakajima knew that Jin wouldn't want to just sit around for hours knowing how active and almost manic Jin could be when she was bored and didn't have anything to do." Maybe after we eat I could train with you see how well your skills have been coming along, actually how about a Race to the lunch room ? I'll give you a headstart."

"I can take care of myself, Naka. You don't need to handicap your speed for me. I can beat you, and I can do it on foot!" Jin was quite agile over short distances, and would probably be able to back up her boast in a dead sprint. However, the cafeteria was probably a little longer than she could maintain full speed. She was barely five foot tall, and Deathstroke had always mentioned that her mother had been a petite woman. It hadn't diminished her mental strength or fighting capability at all. Still, she was hoping to at least get longer legs before she stopped growing. Being short was just... embarrassing.

Jin took a runner's pose, dark eyes flashing with glee. "Ready? Set? GO!" And she took off without even waiting, starting at a normal speed and building acceleration.

@RumikoOhara >_< I can't remember if I'm to help accept people or not right now. I used to be a GM in the old thread, now I'm unsure. I will say that it looks alright, as long as you don't overuse the past-seeing power. There may be some things that are part of the character's arc. If you're going to reveal past stuff, maybe run it past the player first, that way you don't overstep boundaries?

Also there seems to be a missing piece. Under the first "retro" power, there's something that starts (A and then there's nothing else there. Like you dropped a sentence and forgot to delete the rest, or write the rest?

Otherwise this seems like fun. I like the Omnilingual power, it's not one that comes up often but it's a great non-combat skill.

When the announcement was made across the campus, Kijani grinned wide. "Not happy about the crisis, but- I won't say no to free time." She spun around and started back for the classroom, hoping to find Connor. Apparently he'd had the same idea, because they met midway. "Well! Isn't this a pleasant surprise?" She hugged him again, noting that he seemed a bit more... sturdy than he had at the beginning of the summer. "How shall we spend this gift of free time?"

Jin heard the announcement that morning classes were canceled, and sighed faintly. "Well, I guess we're free. I'm kinda hungry, so I think I'll head for the cafeteria. I heard they've got a really good cook in there. What do you wanna do, nee-chan?" She also wanted to get a little energy burnt off before class started up again. Sitting in a chair for hours on end was just flat-out boring to her.

Kassy was outside by the time she heard the announcement, and stopped short. "Alright. I suppose class with miss Frost is out. Now what do I do?" She looked around, noting trees and grass and little groups of students. They were probably all friends. No sense in butting in, then. Kassy lifted her head, having caught the scent of water. She followed it all the way to a cozy little lake. "Oh, this is nice. I wonder if it's for snacking." She pulled off her sandals and set them aside, then started to wade in.

Does the idea of Kassy having that kind of information make sense to you? I'd let you type them up, so she's not getting things she couldn't know in-character, but I like the idea, and it'd give me something to start with, more or less.
