"There's no reason to be afraid of me. I'm just a teacher." She turned then, eyes locking briefly with Quill. "Besides having excellent hearing, I am truly no one to fear, I promise. I double as a counselor, so if any of you just need someone to talk to during the year, please feel free to come see me. My door is always open."

Since Kassandra's first class wasn't for a while, she decided to get up and walk the school grounds. She found and approached a young student sipping something red from a pouch.
"Good morning. I'm Miss Keigwan, and I'll be your Power and Control teacher if you've chosen to take my class. What's your name?" She realized the boy was sort of eavesdropping on a few other students. That was rather rude, but she wasn't going to call him out on it. Not on the first day.

Sorry my post is so short. I didn't want to keep you waiting, but couldn't think of what to write.
"Well, don't give up hope. Maybe there are some things you can't learn on her own." Devika grinned her dimpled grin, and then approached the knives.

She wanted to learn so badly, but she wasn't sure why. Maybe it was because she wanted to be that interesting. Honestly, if she wasn't an empath, she'd be pretty boring. A large part of her wanted to change that.
