Loki wasn't startled at all, appearing in the cage. Instead, he chuckled. "If you are so powerful, then why are you in this box?" Loki taunted. He paced around the cell, his scepter banging on the ground with each and every step. "You see, Lucy, I make a policy: I don't work with those who are weak."

He paused, and in an instant, Loki appeared twelve feet away from the cell. It had been an illusion all along. "Prove to me your worth by leaving that cell, hmm?"

Castiel nodded, and vanished, his wings fluttering slightly. Cornish rolled her eyes. "Really, boss, scared for some kids now? You're getting soft."

Still, with a demonic chuckle, Cornish reloaded her guns, and began firing at the demons on the stare. Demon by demon dropped, each bullet precisely aimed and cared for. Eventually, Sam's path was clear.

"Go on, then, boss, go help the moose!" Cornish cackled, reloading once more. "I've got plenty of ammunition left!"

Sam, meanwhile, had made his way to the back room. He opened up the door, only to have his eyes widen. "Dean!" Sam shouted. "You're going to want to see this!"

Mara took the money and the potion back, sighing softly. Kira and she had done the best that they could in the situation, she reminded herself. She didn't instigate the conflict, and she made the best choices she could with what was presented to her. She couldn't beat herself up about this forever.

"We need to head back to town to regroup. Our pokemon are beat and we need to rest ourselves."

"Quagmire might be closer, at this point," Mara pointed out, hesitating slightly. "I'll go look for Rowan, he ran off somewhere..."

Collecting the tattered ruins of Rowan's backpack, Mara headed towards where she had seen Rowan dash off to. As far as she could recall, he was convinced that he'd be able to catch another pokemon, all by himself. As much as she doubted it, having more pokemon than just their own would likely be a good idea, what with the Red Hand -- or was it the Green Arm? -- running about.

"Rooooowan!" Mara called out, making her way through the clusters of trees. "It's okay! The Blue Finger guy is gone!"

Pausing, she let out another sigh. She didn't see Rowan anywhere. Perhaps he had gone deeper in, maybe he had ran off back to the road. Yasha could have found him already. Maybe something happened to him...

"Rowan?!" Mara called out again, continuing on in her search. She clutched the remains of his backpack to her chest, glancing around and hoping that he'd just be behind the next tree.

Eddie grimaced. "I wish I could shed some light on this for you..." Almost involuntarily, she chuckled at her own awful pun. Pausing, she reached a hand across the table, hoping she could help comfort him somehow.

"For what it's worth, I don't think you're a monster. Able to probably eat me in one second? Yeah, probably. But you aren't bad," Eddie said softly. "I've met bad people, and you aren't one of them."

She stayed there patiently, her hand reaching across the table, waiting for him to open his eyes again. "I mean, if you are going through puberty, could just be growing pains, right?"

Glancing around, the waiter brought over the cheesecake and the gelato. Eddie pushed the desserts towards him, knowing that he loved sweets, and hoping that they'd help to bring some sort of stall to his pain. If even sweets couldn't help him, then she suspected nothing could.
@Pundii @BlueSky44 I'll be posting for Sutton later today, so that way the Jake's group can keep on going. :) Sorry for the wait!

Her face flashed crimson at his comment. Her hands shook slightly as she refilled her glass of water with the pitcher, and then proceeded to drink the entire thing. Opening her mouth, Eddie changed her mind, repeating the process until she was sufficiently positive that her awkwardness and nervousness had given her away.

"Th-thanks," Eddie said, completely out of water. "Have you ever met anyone else like you? Or um....What did that lady do to you? You seem to be in pain..."

She laughed nervously. Despite confessing her feelings to Mercury, she was still incredibly jittery. She was just a nervous person, after all.
Loki nodded, staring into the dark recesses of the cell. "I received your message, Lucifer."

He paused, pacing back in forth in front of the cell, his scepter and crown appearing. "Can you do what you claim, devil?"

"Of course we love playing games," Cornish sneered. She pulled her guns out of her pockets, specially crafted in the fire of hell. The bullets were made of angel blades, melted into the perfect shape for the gun. An expert marksman, she never missed. "Hello, boys!" Cornish jeered, and shot down all of the demons near Crowley. Blowing the smoke off the top of her gun, her eyes flashed black.

Sam headed towards the stairs with Castiel, each of them twirling their angel blades around, striking demon after demon dead. The more they advanced, the more seemed to appear, each blocking their way.
Cornish exchanged an uneasy glance with Crowley. Every minute that they spent was another minute closer to their collective death sentences. Of course, they'd be lucky if that was all Lucifer decided to do with the two rebellious demons.

"Brother...These people are not of Midguard," Loki frowned, staring at all of the non-human members of Team Free Will. He snorted a bit, turning his nose up. "But I do have an old friend here whom I'd very much like to speak with..."

His eyes flashed darkly, and like an illusion, Loki melted away. Nothing remained, as old Silver Tongue made his way towards the most powerful being on the planet: Lucifer himself.

Sam stared in confusion, and Castiel, being Castiel, merely frowned.

"Oi, what the hell are we standing around here for?" Cornish snapped. "We've got better things to do--like not dying because of bloody Lucifer!"

Mara stared at the portion of her money, the guilt continuing to eat away at her. It was her fault that the battle hadn't ended sooner, that Yasha had to take the blow for her pokemon. "Here, I don't need any of this," Mara said, offering her share of the spoils to Rowan and Yasha. "I...I shouldn't have tried to save the dwebble."

She glanced down at the dirt, before rummaging in her bag for her pokedex. Hopefully, there'd be a way to figure out how they could get Yasha medical attention, and replace Rowan's backpack. She'd pondered briefly whether or not a potion meant for pokemon would help to heal Yasha's wounds, but thought better of it. The medical professionals would have a better idea of what to do.

"Wait a minute! We're no more closer of finding the proffesor's assistent!"

"She's probably just across the bridge somewhere, didn't want to pay the toll fee or something..." Mara offered, biting her lip as she looked at Yasha, sitting on the ground in pain. "We should get you medical attention, Yasha...And a new backpack for Rowan..."

She recalled Kira to his pokeball, tucking the pokeball away in her bag. She didn't need him trying to do anything heroic, and he deserved a rest. Pulling the potion out of her bag, she offered it to Yasha, uncertain as to whether or not it could revive a fallen pokemon--but it was the least she could do. It was her fault that things had ended this way--and she was going to do whatever she could to fix it.

Eddie snickered, hitting her forehead with her head. It was fortunate she didn't have any food or drink in her mouth. "I'm starting to think you're just hitting puberty, kid."

She couldn't stop snickering, grinning at the almost too innocent creature of darkness sitting across the table from her. Part of her was now considering the possibility that there wasn't anything wrong with her--he was just going batshit crazy because he realized that he had sexual attraction. The possibility soothed her even more, but with his stunned expression about the sex joke he himself made, she couldn't help but giggle.

"You just made a sex joke, of course you're going to think that was dirty," Eddie explained, stifling her laughter.
My eyes thank you!
