I've been working on getting more information out there on this shared universe venture we're doing. I've attached our official timeline below, and you'll notice that some events on there were not RPs, but I felt they were important enough to be included. The addition of the X-Men RP to our universe has brought a lot more depth, hence expanding the timeline.

Personality: Hanson is one that gets lost inside of his own head. Once he becomes convinced of something, it's hard to point out to him the error behind it. He gets easily obsessed and addicted, throwing himself into his work entirely and not surfacing to get a glimpse at the big picture. In this way, he is incredibly emotionally driven. He shoots first and asks questions later.

He hides behind snarky comments and quick words, as if that can somehow provide a shield to protect him from the repercussions of his actions. He doesn't often take responsibility for his wrongdoings, instead preferring to look the other way and move on, making jokes about it whenever it's pointed out to him. It's the only defense mechanism he has, especially given the fact that he was nearly responsible for the end of the world.

History

History: Detective Hanson's father, Sal, had begun to date a world renowned astronomer when he got word that he was going to be a father. Of course, his girlfriend wasn't the mother. A prostitute he had visited on several occasions was. He didn't want to jeopardize the relationship, certain that the astronomer was his one true love, so he abandoned the expectant mother. She didn't feel prepared to raise a child and gave the kid up for adoption, telling the orphanage that his name was Walter.

He was adopted by Emmy and Lara Hanson, a pair of white witches in their late fifties going on early sixties. He had a relatively stable upbringing, learning about magic and living in a loving family. He ended up working for the police in Altsoba, climbing through the ranks until he was a detective, in charge of investigating homicides. He even had a steady boyfriend, Mason Harkness, who he absolutely adored and wanted to marry.

Of course, Hanson always wondered about his birth parents. About six months before the Altsoba massacre, he was able to find the documentation about his parents. His mother was long dead, but he managed to find out information about his father and a half-sister. But before he could do much reaching out to them, Mason broke things off with him. He spiraled in the worst way imaginable, going to Belladonna Crypt in order to learn about satanic rituals.

Hanson murdered Mason with dark magic. He then became hellbent on ending the world by starting the apocalypse, summoning demons like Mephistopheles and killing a reporter who saw too much. He was, to say the very least, bad news. It was during the apocalypse that he had a change of heart, regretting what he had done, but it was too late.

O.M.E.N. branded him as a terrorist soon after the apocalypse, forcing Hanson to go on the run. He reached out to his half-sister, Andromeda, and hid out in the upper floors of her family's hotel. If caught, he knows that O.M.E.N. will send him to the electric chair, no matter how much repenting he attempts to do.

"Of course. Body snatchers are rather common in this era," October mused. "It's a noble profession--but I understand if you don't wish to have that experience quite yet." Her uncle, Sylvester, had gone through an affair similar to abduction a few years back. He spoke of it fondly--much more fondly than his short marriage to that dreadful woman, Debbie. They still found pastel colored clothing in the house from time to time, a harrowing sight.

She watched her friend lower herself to the ground, her eyes closing and then her form falling still. October played with small balls of fire in the darkness, watching their surroundings as she felt something brush past her. She could only assume it was Carolina. The other children continued to ransack through houses, with some brief screams piercing the air, as lights were thrown on. Carolina was right--it wouldn't be long until the police was there.

Of course, the police were slightly overwhelmed. The peculiar children were going from house to house, and each house involved a fretful family, paranoid and afraid. Some officers remained at each location, with the force becoming thinner and thinner, until only three cars were chasing the rest of the children. October extinguished the flame from her hands, peering around the corner, only to notice a uniformed officer coming to check in on the abandoned house.

"Carolina!" October whispered, hoping her friend was near and almost finished. The officer was only a few steps away. But inside the house, hidden in a broken fireplace, Carolina would notice a softly glowing ring. It's inside of a small box with runic inscriptions, and no matter what Carolina does--in the ethereal form or in the physical form--the box will not open. It is enchanted.
