Dorothy was keeping a watchful eye on both her sister and Anisa. Despite coughing down her drink, she didn't feel any of the tell tale signs of becoming tipsy. Perhaps a mild buzz, but even then, it could easily have been her imagination. However, she knew she wasn't imagining Harper pulling out Daphne's chair for her and her eyes widened for a moment, before she smirked. Little Daphne Rachel and the new pilot? She hadn't seen it coming, but her sister wasn't a little kid. She had needs, just like anyone else.

"B-b-board games," Fitz answered Daphne quickly. "I-I mean, I went and got a g-game..." He may have been socially awkward, but even he could tell the tension quickly growing at the table. Was Daphne not allowed to go out and meet new people? Or was he specifically the problem? Sure, he was from Osiris but...Was this anti-Alliance prejudice? He supposed that could be a thing, but he never had grown up considering politics at all, so he never considered that others would as well. He had only just recently left his safe bubble.

"...I-I-I-I d-d-didn't know w-we were d-dating?" Fitz said, misunderstanding the tone of Jackie's "accusations." The poor thing seemed like he was about to melt into a nervous puddle and it was all he could do to nod meekly to confirm that he had, indeed, run into Daphne. He was practically trembling, as he realized just how far out of his comfort zone he was.

"Kid, you okay?" Dorothy asked, her eyebrows furrowed with concern. He looked like he was about to pass out. Turning around for a moment, she flagged down a waiter and asked for a water to be brought to the table. The kid probably needed it.

Nora blinked her eyes open, once more becoming accustomed to her surroundings. After two fainting spells, she feared for her health if she was to undergo a third. Steeling her resolve, she elected to approach this issue the only way she could: mathematically. Rather than stare George straight on, she could instead limit herself by taking in the scene at small angles at a time. Once she reached her maximum angle of comfort, that would be it until she found herself ready to take in more of his visage. There had to be some sort of minimum safe range.

Placing her palms flat against the floor, Nora slowly pushed herself up into a seated position. Her arms nearly gave out, not from physical exertion but rather from continued fear and shakiness. Once seated, Nora found a quite lovely view to take in - the wall - and she then brought herself to a standing position, dusting off her clothing. "I must apologize for my fainting spells," Nora said. She began to test her angle hypothesis, turning her head ever so slightly. Knots were quickly growing in her stomach and she was quivering.

"It is not a-at all proper," Nora stammered. It was the most she could do.

While there were last minute preparations in order for that, that wasn't the only reason that Nancy was waiting outside of Giouse's door. No, there was a more practical reason as well, beyond a mild bit of mischief that ideally, Alicia would be just as clueless about as Eve. The secondary purpose was to get some tea or coffee - either would do for breakfast. And regardless as to which one, she'd end up drowning the liquid in sugar. There once was a time where she would simply eat sugar cubes straight.

Okay, if she was to be perfectly honest, she still did that.

She followed Giouse down the hall, smirking a bit as he rigged up the contraction. There was a reason why she had been able to masquerade as a god of mischief back in the Viking Age. "Excellent," Nancy said approvingly. Giouse kept a stash of prank items and Nancy was glad to see them put to good use. She whistled for a moment, waiting for the idea to come to her. Perhaps an exploding cigar? Though those were mostly useful for either Eve or any Paradox with a bit of a penchant for tobacco.

"Perhaps trip wire, rigged to cover them with feathers?" Nancy whispered, just in case any of the new Paradoxes were within earshot. She wasn't aware as to when exactly they would start to arrive - the later in the day, the better it would be for her and Gio's plans. They still had a costume to put together, along with some minor edits to the script. Of course, as for Alicia...Perhaps they could switch the tequila in her flask with hot sauce? No, there had to be better ideas than that. "Or perhaps itching powder instead of feathers?"

She tapped her foot for a moment, before grinning broadly once more. "Switch a glass with a dribble at dinner?" A dribble glass was one of her favorite inventions of the 1910's. It was an ordinary glass by all appearances, only with hidden holes. Once the victim tilted it back to take a drink, the liquid would pour through the holes, dousing them.
