Virginia Crypt

Location: Gretna Green - Church
Skills: Nakai, Pavati

The monster was attempting to get itself back into an upright position, most likely in order to make an attempt to escape. This couldn't be allowed - they needed to keep it on the altar in order to properly slay the poor creature. She wished she knew what it was called and where it had come from, but asking those questions right now would come with a high cost: her life. There was a time to ask questions and there was a time to fight and it would not do to mix up the two. Thankfully, she was able to come up with an idea in order to further wound and incapacitate the creature. Her beautiful ebony axes were a part of her trained skills - the skill Pavati to be specific. While they had not been blessed by anyone following her specific faith, they had been blessed essentially from her training. She did not need to have Christian faith in order to deal holy and pure damage - the faith she already had was sufficient.

"Dark Mother, guide my hand," Virginia said softly, as she took her one remaining axe and she drove it into the beast, pinning the creature to the altar. There was the downside that she was now currently without a weapon, yet her idea was proving to work excellently so far - aided by the fact that the Irishwoman let out another Banshee's screech, further paralyzing the creature. Their work had paid off, as Elizaveta was able to begin the ritual though Virginia had no idea how long it would take before they would have slain the creature. Yet there was something even more troubling - the monster had Millicent by the throat. Biting her lip, her eyes darted around rapidly as Virginia attempted to spot something that she could use to help free Millicent - if there wasn't anything around, then she was considering just tackling the limb and seeing if that would be effective.

Maeve Brennan

Location: Gretna Green - Church
Skills: Riada, Deasmhumhnach

Maeve unleashed yet another powerful scream, just as the pale woman drove her axe into the monster, pinning it to the altar. The Russian woman had grabbed some objects and seemed to be beginning whatever process they needed in order to end this monster, but the creature had also grabbed Millicent by the throat. On some level, it was fitting - Millicent had struggled to speak up for herself before (as far as Maeve was aware) and now, she couldn't speak or breathe. Yet the Irishwoman wasn't about to leave Millicent to die. It was in her own best interest to take care of this new threat, after all. If it hadn't been, then that would have easily been another story. Maeve had no illusions of being a hero.

She wasn't the only one who was turning her attention to helping Millicent, but no one seemed to have been successful so far. The annoying man - William, she recalled - was currently failing at that endeavor. That was hardly surprising. She judged him to essentially be one of the least competent members of this gathering and she wouldn't have been shocked if the creature let go of Millicent, only to grab William and attempt to kill him instead. She wasn't sure why things only seemed to hurt the monster some of the time - she hadn't heard of a Soulless that could only sometimes be wounded. Of course, she doubted anyone had ever seen anything quite like this before. "'Old on, Miss," she beckoned to Millicent.

"Vegas? Ya gotta tell me all about that again sometime, never was lucky enough to go," he told Tatiana with a grin, holding onto their son. Jack's face clearly was filled with wonder as the fans started above them, sending a cooling breeze down. Combined with the shade provided by the tram, it seemed like something that would have been displayed in an expo about how people would vacation in the future. It was more than just nice - it was amazing. His thoughts went to Ray though as they passed the fabrication building and he smiled a bit sadly. Ray would have benefited from a custom made limb for him - and he bet that Miss Sally would have enjoyed the idea that she could get a hip replacement if she needed one. There was so much technology here that it was easy to forget what lurked outside of the walls. They even had a pool!

"Hopefully Jamie's nothin' like his dad when it comes to school," he whispered to Tatiana. He had barely passed high school, his mom having to tutor him when it came to his senior level classes. Most of his problems had come from the fact that he learned best hands on and his English teachers hadn't been a fan of that. His jaw practically dropped as he learned that they had condos. Yes, Newnan had had amazing living accommodations but nothing that had been called a condo. Condos brought up images for him of the idle rich, able to afford to buy out entire buildings if they wanted to. The college dorm analogy helped only slightly, purely since Jack had never gone to college. He had though visited his half-sister at her college once, so he had a rough idea of the sort of layout the dorms had.

The description of their living situation seemed perfect. They had a room, as well as one to basically function as a nursery for Jamie - though Jack imagined it would take him a while to get used to the idea of Jamie sleeping in a different room than them, but it would be a nice bit of normalcy. Their roommate even was in charge of the daycare and Jack fully intended to ask her if she had any tips on parenting or if CMB offered any parenting classes. He had no idea what he was doing.

Of course, their place was even better when he saw it in person. Jamie had just about everything he needed, including some things that Jack hadn't been expecting - like the rocking chair. He didn't care that his and Tatiana's room was bare - she could light up just about any room that she went inside of. He nodded, giving Tatiana a kiss. "Yeah, this more than works," he told her with a huge grin.

This place was amazing - and he couldn't wait to start this new chapter with Tatiana.

The Small Wet Country Across the Sea: August 9th, 12,511 - 4:30 PM

Myrus looked at Bruce, a little bit confused. In all of the myths he had heard, it wasn't Nova that they went to for protection (though in some stories, Nova and Idunn seemed to be interchangeable in terms of providing immortality to the gods), it was actually Frigga. From what he remembered, Frigga was able to extract a promise from every living being in creation to not harm Baldur. So why wasn't Bruce suggesting that? Was that method futile? He couldn't quite remember how that particular myth ended. Or maybe Frigga was just too ancient at this point in order to do such a task? That didn't seem right to him either.

Unfortunately, all of the yelling going on just so happened to attract the attention of another creature. It was another Frost Giant, standing seventeen feet tall. Armed with a mighty axe that was bigger than Myrus himself, the ground shook with each step that it took. Currently, it was a good thirteen feet away from them, but that gap was not nearly as big as our heroes would have liked for it to be.

Bruce would be able to recognize the giant - his name was Byleirst, son of Laufey. "Looks like meat is back on the menu!" the giant chortled. Taking just two steps forward, Byleirst cleared the distance between them and snatched up Mona, raising the witch up to his eye level. "Hmm... Smells like a Midgardian!"

The Palace Barracks -> Long Walk - the Castle...

Apollodora chuckled slightly. "You call this complete ruin? Here, I'll let you in on a secret. In my time, Queen Valda still sits on the throne. The ginger dynasty remains unbroken. Sure, today was horrible but you can't really help it with the Biters. You'll rebuild, find new treasures to place in the halls, and by the time I meet you for the first time, this will hardly have been the Castle's darkest hour." She seemed to get lost in thought for a moment as something came to her and she smirked slightly.

"There's no cure for being a Biter - unless you include being set on fire via Magyk or a good wooden stake to the heart," she answered. She followed after her, heading out of the barracks, through the courtyard, and back into the Long Walk. "Well, lead the way to your witch. The sooner we find these chains, the sooner we prevent this world ending."

The Palace Crypt - the Castle...

To reach the crypts, the trio would have to walk due east down the Long Walk until they reached the Entrance Hall. From there, they would take the spiral staircase down to the lower level and walk to the end of the hallway, bypassing basement storage rooms where some food stores and other supplies were kept. The last time they had been down here, Emperor Taj and Asha the Magykal had been examining the body of the late Queen Meliscente.

The coffins and such were covered in dust - the vampiric forces hadn't disturbed this place. There were plaques identifying the deceased, almost all of them bearing a direct blood relation to Luna and Valda. Their father, Fendrel, had a marker here as well despite his body never being recovered. He was not put to rest too far from where their mother was, allowing the lovers to be reunited in death.

Violet

Location: Outside the Old Port Witch Coven Home - the Port
Skills: N/A
Violet hesitated, staring at Fleur the same way a child would stare at their teacher after seeing a negative number for the first time. It would be apparent to Fleur that "Violet" was merely an identity that Arya Rincewind's psyche had crafted after the events that happened with Chthon. There was a great deal of raw power dwelling within her and perhaps, if Fleur was able to apply the correct amount of persuasion and Concilium, she would be able to control her continuously.

"The innocents will be spared," Violet said, though her statement was more of a question - wanting to determine Fleur's desires. She believed Fleur that the leaders of the Castle were corrupt. They had allowed for so much pain and suffering to go on unchecked. She hadn't gone after them yet, sticking to the more petty criminals but maybe it was time to change that. Without the insane Queen Valda, perhaps things would become better for the Castle. Of course, she would need to eliminate Princess Luna as well, she was just as bad as her sister... She didn't spare much thought to who would rule after they were gone. Her mind was focused on vengeance, on punishing those who failed her home.

"We would need to kill Amarantha, the head of the Castle's army. She benefits from this system. And then the Royals. They sit in wealth and luxury while others suffer..." Violet continued. "And anyone who would support them would need to be slain as well." It was only then that they could right the wrongs of those who had created this horrible system. When was the last time Queen Valda had done anything for the benefit of the people? She stood by and just watched as Port sailors were impressed into duty! She allowed those vile creatures to attack innocents on Bonfire Night. And if the rumors were true, she had at least been complicit in Queen Meliscente's murder at the hands of the witch Nera Hawthorn...

Antonije Magnisky

Location: Ramblings Room 847 - the Castle
Skills: Telepathy
Antonije sighed slightly. He could understand Sylvi wanting to hold onto her idyllic depiction of her family, but she needed to face the facts in his opinion. If they had really cared about her, then they would have found her by now. She was hardly hiding out in the Castle when she took to the stage to perform with her bardic talents. Any decent rogue hired by the Land of Long Nights would have been able to find her and spirit her back home within a month's time by his estimation. And since that hadn't happened, it meant that they just did not care about her - they probably never did to begin with.

Silvija... If your family cared about you, don't you think you would have heard from them by now? he asked her gently. Part of his reasoning was motivated by selfishness of course - he didn't want someone to come and take her away from him. She belonged here. It was supposed to be just the two of them against the world. But we should talk about your diet... I don't mind if you need to feed off of me, but I can bring home criminals and assholes for you to drain dry. No one would miss them anyways, it would probably end up being a service to the Castle if you killed them. It's a goddamn filthy world we live in but... maybe if we kill enough of them, we'll make it a bit better.

Halley Banner

Location: Wizard Tower Courtyard - the Castle
Skills: N/A
"The Pyramid Library..." Halley mused, trying to recall where exactly inside Wizard Tower that was. Her eyes went upwards towards the top of the tower, noting that it was shaped like a pyramid. Given the preference in the Castle to name things rather obviously, she had to imagine it was up there at the very top. "Well, let's see if we'll be allowed entrance - if not, I have an idea on how to get inside." She doubted that they would like it, being shot up to the very top of Wizard Tower via her Magyk, but she imagined that would be the easiest way inside. Wizards did not have the power of Flyte so odds were there were fewer precautions at the very top than there were here at the entrance.

Following Arnora, Halley went up to the elegant door and paused for a moment. No one was there to ask her a password. She pressed her palm to the handle and gave a tug, the door swinging open easily. She raised an eyebrow, surprised that there had been less precautions but then it became clear why the door had opened. It hadn't opened because she wished to enter - it opened because someone else wished to leave.

Dressing in the purple robes of the ExtraOrdinary Wizard, Blaise Rowland stood in the doorway, observing the Asgardian trio. His expression shifted into one of anger as he spotted Cuyler. "You have a lot of nerve coming back here, Mr. Eysteinsson," Rowland warned. He didn't have on him the usual accessories of the ExtraOrdinary Wizard - namely the Akhu Amulet of Hotep-Ra, and the ExtraOrdinary Wizard Belt and Headband. "I am going to have to ask you to vacate the premises. You are unwelcome here."

"I'm afraid we can't do that," Halley replied calmly. "We're hunting a fugitive who has taken refuge within these walls."

"And who just might you be?" Rowland asked, though he still seemed less than thrilled to see Cuyler there.

"Halley Banner, daughter of the Sorcerer Supreme Runa."

Gene Benaszewski & Nora Kingston

Location: Athribis - Underground
Skills: Pattern Analysis, Cryptography, Mathematics, Decipher hieroglyphics, Acute Observation, Counterfactual History, Quick Study
Faye was quickly becoming Gene's favorite of this lot, purely since she seemed to have a knack for the peculiar and an awareness of what might be going on. Of course, her own pool of knowledge on this topic was a bit limited, though she had a strong sense of déjà vu with all of this. Maybe she had read something along these lines - or even seen something like this before? At any rate, it must have been eons ago - lifetimes ago easily. "Yes," she answered Lauren, rolling her eyes slightly. "I'm what you would call an Emendator - though continue to think of me as a psychic, as I imagine that is easier for you to understand." She wasn't about to spend time clearing up just exactly what everyone there was - for instance, Belladonna was a Paradox though a witch was an easy enough to understand label for the time being. They could have a riveting discussion on just what everyone was later.

Nora was frantically looking over her notes, attempting to continue with the navigation but it was practically impossible at this point. Each carving she wanted to reference had started to fade or even shift, becoming something entirely different. She wished that she could have a photograph or a portrait of what the carvings had looked like, in order to continue moving forward but for now, her intuition was telling her that they might as well pause for the moment. She had no idea where they would go if she continued to press on forward down these paths at random - it could easily cause them to overshoot and miss out on finding Belladonna entirely. "Yes, I know that time is running short - yet as you can see, it is simply becoming highly improbable to identify the correct path onwards," Nora answered Mahendra, feeling her impatience growing. She knew that the situation was dire, yet rushing was not going to help in this scenario.

As he told her that she was vanishing, Nora's eyes widened as she glanced at her hands, seeing that they were not really there anymore. It was like she was fading away. Her heart began to beat extremely quickly and she glanced around rapidly, trying to identify something that could be used to explain what was happening or to slow the process, but there was nothing. The Lord Major was vanishing as well. Her notebook fell to the ground and Nora took a breath, attempting to compose herself as she locked eyes with Lauren, saying something that could not be heard, before she vanished entirely. It was as if she had never existed to begin with.

Gene didn't recognize the voices that she was hearing, though she was shocked as she saw Nora and the Lord Major fade away into nothingness. "Alright, don't panic," she told the rest of them, taking charge. "You, with the occult skills - do you know anything about how to stop a time spell?" she asked quickly. There had to be some way for them to stop this - or at least to prevent this from happening to the rest of them. She wished that Gio was there. Time magic was definitely his area of expertise, given that he was the Emendator called the Watch.

Andromeda Aldrich

Location: Babylon Fortress, Cairo, Egypt
Skills: N/A

She recognized a few of the voices - George, Nancy, and Alicia. With one of the voices making an exclamation about how someone should be dead, she had to wonder if they were referring to Alicia. Maybe this was Alicia's life before she became a Paradox? Of course, there was the possibility that it was their Alicia and she was still alive, but Andromeda didn't have nearly enough knowhow with all of these things in order to make sense of it all. Her primary experience with the breakdown of time and reality came from that fateful day back in Coventry - and the outcome had been that she died. Her life force was drained and essentially used to help time get enough energy to repair itself. The tips of her fingers felt cold as she contemplated whether or not that was about to happen to all of them here right now. She wasn't ready to die - not again.

She nodded quickly at James. "Apocalypse always seems to be used for events where at least someone will survive the near end of the world..." She bit down on her lip again. "Th-this is how I died last time - not this exactly but a smaller version of it. We need to run... if we can." She wasn't sure that was possible. Giouse's portal might not form. Even if it did, if all of the timelines were collapsing in on each other or colliding or otherwise imploding, what was to say that wherever they went would be any better? Peter was fading away and she had to wonder - was that what it had looked like when she died? Her entire body felt like an electric current was racing through it as she waited to see if Giouse's portal would open. Yet she feared that it was already too late - that they would all be dead before they could even run through the portal if it appeared.

Guin Stark

Location: The Palace Grounds - New York (Guin's Outfit)
Skills: Telepathy
She had been willing to hear Wanda out, to let her future sister-in-law defend her actions and explain her reasoning, but Wanda instead decided to go full on super villain. Blasted backwards by the Scarlet Witch's ruby red powers, she flailed slightly in the air, fully expecting to slam into the ground hard. Instead, her descent was abruptly halted as someone caught her. Part of her didn't believe it, even when Pietro's blue eyes were looking into her own blue-green ones, and even as he got her back onto her feet. Yeah, I'm good. And whereas Wanda's last straw had been Pietro not instantly siding with her, for Guin it was seeing Wanda control him, denying him his free will.

"Okay, Scarlet Bitch, I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt," Guin snapped, glaring at Wanda as she put a finger to her head and started working on telepathically releasing Pietro from Wanda's grasp. It took her a couple of tries, yet she managed to free him in the end. "I've about had it with your pompous, villainous ass," she added, before turning her powers on Wanda. Her goal was to knock the princess unconscious, allowing them to put some sort of power inhibiting device on her so they could get to the bottom of what happened without her attacking them, but she failed miserably. Instead, her tries only amounted to giving Wanda a major headache. Maybe that would be a good superhero name for her in this other world Allison talked about - Migraine.

"Hey, Ally, wanna give her hell?" Guin asked. You okay, babe?

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: The Human Resistance HQ - New York
Skills: Eldritch Magic
Novikova raised an eyebrow. "Oh, she definitely will have a sling ring - it's not like Magneto's forces would think to search her and confiscate it from her. Nope, not at all," she said dryly, though each word was dripping with pure sarcasm. Max seemed to have located the most famous groups, but there were a lot of agents in S.H.I.E.L.D. who comprised the Secret Warriors - the codename for the squad that Barton and Abercrombie led. She didn't have a lot of confidence in these random mutants that Max proclaimed to know. At the very least, James was continuing to prove competent as he healed her leg. She really missed Tempest. The sarcastic hacker was an expert at healing, having saved their lives countless times on missions.

She shrugged off James' apology about being a complete nightmare. "It's whatever. You didn't sell us out to HYDRA, so we're square." Novikova nodded at her girlfriend's assessment - they would need to split up in order to cover more ground quickly. So far, her power set seemed to be the key in restoring people's memories and since Maria could copy that power, that meant they would end up in different groups. She didn't like it, but it was what needed to be done in order to save the world. Maybe those with the magic would be able to restore memories, that would help with the recruitment drive significantly.

"If Maria absorbs my dimensional energy perception, then she can restore memories as well. That would leave us with two teams - and it sounds like the major locations are New York and Louisiana. And since we have two people here with magic, then we can have ease of transportation for both teams," Novikova proposed.

Runa opened her eyes, seeing a forest of feet! She blinked slightly, confused as to why she was getting such an in depth look at everyone's footwear. The last thing she remembered was some spoiled brat attacking her at King Erik's palace. Propping herself up on her elbows, she looked up and frantically tried to spot her cousin, Klara, but she wasn't there. Her heart skipped a beat and she quickly performed a small little spell, wanting to know where exactly Klara had gone off to. She managed to locate her within seconds - Klara was in the palace still, armed with her sword and a sling ring. She let out a sigh of relief. "Klara is fine... She has retrieved her sword and her sling ring," she said softly to Lance.

Standing back up to her feet, Runa felt a little sick. Changing the world back would mean that Lance had never met her. It would mean that she would be an Asgardian again, ostracized for the nature of her powers and the fear of what she might become. While her father was Baldur the Beautiful, beloved by practically every living creature in the Nine Realms, she was the stain upon the House of Odin. Biting her lip slightly, Runa moved to the back of the crowd, wishing that she was invisible. This life had been very nice when she woke up that fateful morning, even taking into account the events with the Red Guard.

Casper Theriot

Location: the Crown Room - Baton Rouge
Skills: Mediumship
Casper instantly backed off from Bobbi, raising his hands up in the air to show he didn't mean her any harm. Just because the world had changed didn't mean he wasn't firmly aware of the importance of consent. If she didn't want him trying to help or touching her, then he wasn't about to push it - especially not in the #MeToo era. "Désolé," he apologized instantly, before slowly lowering his hands to his side. However, he didn't agree with the last thing she said - about finishing this job. If they gave the infinity stone over to the Thieves Guild, they were just asking for another world conquest by someone somehow even worse than Magneto. "I vote we throw this thing into the bottom of the Ocean," Casper proposed. "It'll be safe for a while until it freezes and emerges as the new Captain America."

"... That is not how that works, but okay," Ben muttered, a bit exasperated with Casper - but then again, when wasn't Ben annoyed with him?

"Ben agrees with me, by the way," Casper lied. Ben tried to flick him in the eye, only for his ghostly fingers to just pass through Casper. It seemed that Ben couldn't just become a physical being at will - he needed Casper's help to do it.

"You are such a bad liar, Cassie..."

Though as Jack explained how they had come to be a part of this organization, Casper wasn't all too surprised. Their mother was a criminal for all intents and purposes, and as far as he was aware, she had never really tried to stop. In the real world, she had been a member of the Brotherhood - he guessed being a thief here wasn't too much of a stretch. "Who was the kid's mom - Leighton or Ice Queen or whatever her name was?" Casper asked, a bit curious.

"Shit," Ben cursed, as Mary and Anastasia came into the room.

Casper gave his ghost friend a somehow assuring look that plain said I've got this. "Nope, it isn't here. We think that this is where it should be, but someone might have come in here and stole it before us... Either that or they figured out we were coming and moved it."

Leda Storm

Location: Camp Half-Blood 6E -> 2D
Skills: Superhuman Speed

She shrugged at Mona's comments about how Annabelle knew what she signed up for. Sure, that was the case but they were teenagers with outrageous abilities - that didn't mean they were more mature than most of those their age. Grudges could get formed over the smallest things, especially when love magic was involved. "Alrighty then," Leda commented, before she took off at a run. She was feeling a bit winded, but still fast enough that she managed to cross over the surface of the river, kicking up a fine mist behind her. She kept on running, trying to get back to Athena lines. All of the speeding around was beginning to take a toll on her and besides, they had just about won anyways. She imagined Tammy would pick up Mona and maybe Kiera as well and transport them back to the Athena lines.

She skidded to a halt not too far from the Athena lines, panting profusely. It felt like her lungs were on fire as she bent over, gripping her knees in an attempt to catch her breath. "Bloody hell..." Leda muttered, only to instantly regret it as just talking was taking a lot out of her. She really needed to work on being able to sustain her speed for longer periods of time. Most of the media she had seen surrounding speedsters was all about whether or not they could get faster - whereas Leda was mostly concerned with stamina. She knew that she would be able to get faster if she wanted to - she just wanted to be able to keep going at that speed for more than just a second or two.

Cecily Ashworth

Location: The Asylum - Outside
Skills: N/A

Cecily's eyes widened with all of the destruction unleashed from her bomb. Maybe she should have considered an alternate career to being a forensic tech - she could have easily gone into demolitions like this. But beyond that, she had heard Riley yelling about having already shot someone. She didn't know who she was talking about, certainly not the serial killer in Grimm right as he had died. She slowly raised her head, lucky enough to not get hit by anything major like the others and she let out a breathe Cecily hadn't been aware that she was holding in. Roy was right by her and he fell to the ground, hit by some projectile resulting from the explosion.

"Roy??" Cecily panicked, crouching down next to him. Her eyes were wide - his hand was missing. It wasn't like someone had chopped it off, there was no bloody wound, he was just gone. There was water in her eyes, probably from the smoke and debris in the air, and she gripped onto Roy's shoulders tightly. "Okay, just breathe, okay?" she said frantically, not really knowing how to help with this. Nothing she had ever seen before in her life could have prepared her for seeing Roy vanish in front of her eyes. "Stay with me, you can't go Roy, it's not allowed," she said, just talking and hoping that somehow it would stop. "You're freaking Wolverine..."

She bit her lip slightly. "Come on, you gotta hold on," she begged, her hands trembling with fear. He was the closest thing to a father she had - her real father was an emotionless, greedy, and coldhearted lawyer. Roy at least cared about her.

Jack Newnan

Location: Quarantine (Conference Room) -> H6 (In Front of W)
Skills: N/A

"It's a good thing you aren't a doctah, solovey," Jack teased gently, referring to her comment about how his heart belonged on his sleeve. He had struggled through high school biology, so he knew that he never - in any version of reality - would have ended up a doctor. Maybe though Jamie would become a doctor when he grew up. It made his heart flutter slightly - sure, there were probation periods ahead and other measures, but Jamie was going to get to grow up here. He was going to be safe. He would have a chance at whatever future he wanted - a chance to explore and live without fear. That was everything Jack wanted for the little slugger. Hell, maybe one day Mexico Beach would decide to colonize space and Jamie could be an astronaut.

As they were let out of quarantine, the rapid change in temperature hit Jack like a brick. Part of him wanted to turn back around and go inside where it was cooler, but he knew that would have been a stupid choice. Squinting his eyes as he wished for a pair of shades, he had to make down with putting his hand to his forehead slightly. The tram was an amazing thing to see - it reminded him of those vacations the rich people would take in the movies. Once Tatiana got a spot, Jack went and sat down next to her, putting his arm around her with a wide grin.

"Ya evah been on one of these things before?" he asked his wife. "I always wanted to when I was a kid, but my mom always said we didn't have the money," he shrugged a bit.

Baskin Robbins - San Fransisco: March 5th, 1984 - 10:00 A.M.

After what felt like an eternity of trial and error, they managed to produce a functioning time machine. Partnered with the machine were specialized battle suits, though Strange declined to wear his, preferring his Cloak of Levitation. They did not have enough resources in order to send everyone back in time, so Doom and Shuri ended up staying behind in 2021. For Doom, the reason was obvious - he was neutral at best and pure evil at worst. They had only needed him to help them build the time machine. Shuri then remained behind since they needed someone in 2021 that was a competent fighter and could make repairs to the machine if needed. This left Niah, Roman, Flynn, Raynor, Susan, and Strange to go back in time - to attempt to end the Age of Ultron before it could even begin.

"... I believe we miscalculated the coordinates," Strange mused as they landed in 1984, crashing to the ground. While they had gotten the date, time, and general location correct, they ended up inside of a colorful ice cream establishment called Baskin Robbins. Their white, red, and black custom suits made them stand out like a sore thumb and Strange's cape had flown off of him and was going around the store like an excited dog, meeting new people.

Raynor couldn't help but chuckle slightly. "Wow..." he shook his head. "I'm getting huge Scoops Ahoy vibes from all this," he mused. "Hey, doc, any chance you could get us all a change of clothes?"

"I'm Doctor Stephen Strange, Master of the Mystic Arts, Defender of the New York Sanctum, and Sorcerer Supreme," Strange prefaced, the top of his lip twitching slightly as he fought back a smile. "I believe I can arrange something." He then started waving his hands around in intricate patterns, as the poor employee behind the counter stared at them with a slack jaw, and Strange transformed everyone's outfits into ones appropriate for the time period.

"Um, we aren't open for another hour..." the employee mumbled. "So... you guys need to leave."

"Sorry for the interruption, we do not mean to intrude..."

The startled employee then fell to the ground with a thud, having fainted. Doctor Strange sighed slightly. "Shall we then? Dr. Pym should be at the nearest S.H.I.E.L.D. facility - which I believe is the Hub."

"Let's get going then."

"So how are we getting there - magic? Since I highly doubt you can just take an Uber over," he quipped.

Stark Tower - New York: July 15th, 2021 - 9:40 P.M.

As the climate suddenly changed from the middle of summer to a thick winter, snow started rapidly falling down. The drones surrounding the building picked up the sudden fluctuation in the atmosphere and with all of the data they had collected throughout this nightmare, they were able to calculate the high possibility of some sort of super powered individual causing the winter storm. While Cass and Maria had attempted to hide them from the drones with their winter storm, they instead essentially put a spotlight on the team.

"Oh, subtle is my middle name, lady," Marvel told Tinley with a smirk. Light was pooling around Carol's hands like flames and with Dr. Banner shuffling in awkwardly next to her, it was hard to believe that he was the ex-Avenger and not her.

"I am not picking up any alarming transmissions," Vision offered, having been scanning the frequencies.

"Fantastic," Scarlet Witch rolled her eyes, as she glanced around the lobby. It was more or less what you would expect for the former base of operations of Stark Industries. There was a desk in the middle with a computer and a collection of coffee cups. The elevator was on their left and seemed to require some sort of key card or code to operate it, but on the right was the staircase. Stark Tower was over ninety stories tall and given Ultron's vanity, it was safe to bet that they would need to get to the top floor. "Toaster, where in this building do we need to go?" Wanda asked, her eyes narrowed slightly.

"The weapon is kept on the roof of this building - Ultron will be on the penultimate floor."

"So since we can't trust the elevator, since tech in this building is prone to kill us, we... Oh you've gotta be kidding me, the stairs?!" Banner explained. Sometimes, his transformation into the Hulk was rather predictable. Punch Banner, get a Hulk. Take Banner's lab away from him and discredit him, the Hulk comes out. But on other occasions, Banner's temper got the best of him and he just screamed as he shifted into the other guy in moments, his shirt ripping away as the green monster replaced the scientist.

"HULK HATES STAIRS!!!!!!!!!"

"Hey big guy, why don't you go outside and smash some drones, huh?" Captain Marvel suggested, motioning outside. Her idea couldn't have come a moment too soon as the glass walls in the lobby shattered completely as the drones flew inside. The snow wasn't really slowing them down too much and there were about thirty drones in total. The Hulk let out a roar and jumped, crushing about seven drones beneath him all on his own, but unfortunately the green brute wasn't too intelligent and he just kept on punching the already defunct machines.

Goose sort of rolled his eyes towards the Hulk, more or less saying I'm better than you, before the tentacles shot out of his mouth and wrapped around one of the drones, flinging it into another drone and they both exploded. The kitty then licked his lips triumphantly.

"Bah, I always hated technology," Wanda muttered, trying to pull a few of the drones down but she just couldn't get a grip on them. Captain Marvel was ripping drones apart with her bare hands, smirking and having a good time as she did so. The Vision was trying to take down his robotic brethren as well, but he kept on phasing uncontrollably, likely from the extensive damage already done to him.
