History

Biography: Keira's mother worked as a marine biologist, she had met Keira's father one day out on a fishing trip. The two of them hit it off rather quickly, one thing led to another and eventually Keira was born several months later though her father never showed up. Keira was raised by her mother on her own until her mother eventually remarried when she was around five years old. She eventually at a young age also developed dyslexia as well as ADHD, Keira ended up finding her passion in swimming at around the age of seven and became very good at it. However she had struggled in school and had a hard time concentrating as well, but usually tried her best.

Kiera always ended up getting into a few fights with some of the bullies in her old school which her mother always tried to steer her clear of a lot of the fights by giving her things that she always enjoyed. Though Kiera did enjoy the things and attention her mother did give her, Kiera always struggled with school. Also she did get very jealous of her mother's fiancé as well, and has gotten in some trouble with him from time to time. Until her mother found out which ended up getting her into some trouble.

Her mother's fiancé suggested that she go to Crystal River School, For Troubled Youth, which her mother eventually agreed to send her to as well. Which Kiera did not like at all, but she was removed from her previous school and was transferred to the boarding school there. And Kiera has been there ever since, and still usually got into some trouble.

History

Biography Kristin's father met her mother while he was teaching a few college kids, she first appeared around campus a few times. Eventually the two of them started to really get along well with each other. Talking about various things like math, and science even architecture as well. Then she left after a few weeks, and then around eight months or so later there was a basket in front of his house. With her name on it and addressed to him, though he wasn't sure what to do with her he took her in regardless though at the time he had moved on and had a kid and married as well.

Growing up Kristin was very smart, smarter then most kids her age really though she could never really keep still growing up, she had ADHD, as well as dyslexia to. She was really close to her younger half brother as well as her moth. Though it didn't stop her from any of her school work, she did it regardless and passed with passing colors. When she turned twelve that's when she started to notice weird things. There were some new students in the school that she went to her school, they seemed to stalk her quiet a bit but never did anything until she was thirteen.

Kristen was late from coming home due to a school project as she was about to get into her house that's when her family was attacked by a group of people. Her stepmother was killed, and her father became injured when the monster spotted her it turned his attention directly towards her and started to chase after her. Eventually she lost it, although she was injured and hurt Kristen made it to a shelter where she was eventually found.

How Long Have They Been At Camp Half-Blood: During her time at the shelter Kristen was spotted by a Satyr that easily found out who she was. And then he helped her and told her what she actually was, and then eventually they started their long journey across the country eventually she was at Camp Half-Blood. Once she was on the grounds her mother quickly claimed her, once she stepped onto the grounds. Kristen has since then never left the camp, and she hasn't seen her father since that day either fearing that he may resent her.

Overview

Locations: Long Island Sound, & various other locations
Time Frame: January 1st, 2021

Goal of RP: The goal is to find out, what exactly is going on around the world and finding others, and banding together against a common enemy and save the world against those who would want to destroy Western Civilization.

Premise:

It had been seven months since the fall of New Rome, an army of monsters had stormed and taken over New Rome and Camp Jupiter. Luckily those who had survived have made a temporary home with their Greek allies at Camp Half-Blood, Ezekiel, Janelle and Kristin managed to thwart Echidna's plans on creating more monsters and was killed sent back to the Pit of Tartarus.

During the holidays however Zeus, Hades and Poseidon have now been at each other's throats accusing one another of stealing their symbols of power, Zeus's Master Bolt, Poseidon's Trident and Hades' Sword. Which has been kept a secret from the other Olympians, which contains the power to release or send someone into the underworld. Storms and other weather phenomenon have been seen around the world as tensions between the three gods have gotten worse.

It is the start of a new year now, January 1st 2021, as three new prophecies have now appeared the three groups will have to be the ones to lower the tensions between the three gods. Rumors have also said a massive storm has been very slowly traveling around the globe, the Father of Monsters have returned.

"To find the sword, the cursed, the storm, the garden, enter the maze one shall fall to the pit, and defeat the bane of fates."

"To find the trident, the child of the sea, rainbow, and the dead must enter the depths to find the lord of the sea and with the camp of the sea."

"To find the bolt, the child of the flower, war and oaths, one must save the God of Boundaries, carrying the weight of the sky in the seat of power of the titans."

Rules

*Rules are enforced and you will be removed if you break them.

• Applications:
  • Post the CS in the OOC for review.
  • Change the color code to a unique one (i.e. not in use by a current character). Please try to avoid colors that are very similar to the eye as well.
  • Choose a faceclaim for your character that is not currently in use - if you're not sure if someone is using that FC, ask the GM. Faceclaims must be real life images - not drawings.
  • The GM can refuse a concept for any reason, yet will generally work with you to fix up the character until they can be accepted.
  • Talk to the GM if you want your character to have established connections (i.e. if this were a Harry Potter RP and you wanted to be Fudge's goddaughter, talk to the GM in advance for approval).
  • GM approved character sheets should be posted in a hider in the Char tab.
  • The GM will check posting history / previous RPs - you've been warned.
  • Once CS's are approved, relation sheet will go up and must be completed and added to CS
  • Under Extras in your CS please post a link to a post you have done in the past to show you have read the rules. If You submit a CS without this it may be declined.
  • Special - To New Comers To The Guild - Pm The Gm for a tid bit to add under extras instead
• Post Content
  • No use of racial slurs in posts. Sure, you may be playing a racist white guy from the 1950s, so just use asterisks - you'll convey the same idea.
  • Nudity needs to be run by the GM before posting. In general, this is PG-13 when it comes to romance, sexual interactions, exposure, and so forth... Violence wise, anything goes. This can get gross.
  • Fade to black for things that verge into the area of smut/other taboo subjects. Seriously. Your post will be deleted otherwise.
  • The world and NPCs and events are controlled by the GM. If the GM says it's raining, then it's raining. Results will be randomized per dice mechanics.
• Posting & General Behavior
  • Follow all of the rules of the forum - they're the law of the land.
  • If you need an extension or you're struggling - or even if you just aren't certain what to do - please reach out to the GM! Communication is key.
  • All posts are backed up on the back up forum after they have been posted - the GM will provide the link for this forum. It only takes a few seconds and it ensures all your hard work is preserved!
  • You must post once every 7 days - once your last post on RPG reads as 8 days ago you will be removed from the RP.
  • If you need an extension, ask!! Extensions should be requested no matter than when your last post reads as 6 days ago. If an emergency comes up on day 7, of course come and talk to us - we'll be more than happy to work something out. It's very rare that an extension request is denied.
  • You may NOT copy and paste something from someone else's post and add it to your own. This includes dialogue.
  • Minimal 2 posts between your last
  • No editing posts without GM approval.
  • Each post should include two well developed paragraphs (please don't make me define how many sentences are in a paragraph. If they're long sentences, then sure 5 is fine - if they're shorter, maybe 15 is best).
  • Read all posts! Seriously, people are reading yours so spread the love and read theirs!
  • No tagging for interactions in your post - people use this as a crutch usually to get away with not reading everything.

  • Character deaths will happen, no one is safe - it will be randomized and you will be notified when your death approaches. (This does not mean you are out of the RP, it will mean however you need to make a new character should you wish to continue - I recommend having Back Up Characters Ready)
  • The GM reserves the right to make decisions as to how much additional time, if any, will be granted to post if the forum is glitching. A week to post is plenty of time even if the forum glitches a day or two. But usually, I do tend to be pretty generous about it...
  • Rules and character sheet will be added to and changed as need be depending on problems or points that come up.
  • Under Extras in the CS also mention your favorite god or goddess from any pantheon so I know you at least skimmed this...
    Check the discord chat once a day. Invite will be provided by the GM.

Riley pressed the elevator button once more as she looked over towards the window noticing that the slight haze going on outside, remembering that it was most likely caused by the plane crash just outside of town. Still she couldn't believe that it had happened in the first place as well. It felt like that the bodies were starting to pile up here again, which Riley didn't want to witness again as she waited for Pyira to come over. Looking over she saw Pyira again coming out of their room and gave her a slight smile, and nodded a bit, she personally would rather have a nice scar than a bruised up looking nose any day.

"Once we get to the station i'll go out and buy you some makeup to cover up the bruise anyway." She offered, as soon as the elevator came up to their floor Riley stepped in. She then pressed the lobby button once Pyira got in, and headed down to the first floor once the doors opened she looked at the receptionist who was still at the main desk. "We will be heading out for a little bit, but i'll see you later." Riley said towards the receptionist there and headed back outside, seeing the haze more clearly now she remembered the place pretty well as she headed to the car rental place.

Lauren looked over her shoulder towards Nora at her suggestion which she didn't really like the idea of at all, although she really didn't have anything of use or interest. Just some clothing, that was lend to her by the military barracks thanks to the Lord Major as well as her own clothing and a small bit of money but nothing large as well as some of her family's brew. "I don't think they would have found anything of use in my room honestly." Lauren said shrugging a little bit as she made it to the main deck as her eyes scanned around a little bit until she found Lady Munn, The Lord Major, the very loud and annoying corporal as well as Josephine as well. "They should get back onto the ship quickly before the hippos or the crocodiles then." Lauren said softly she didn't think that they would come close to the boat or not but she didn't know.

"Vera your things are in my room now." Lauren said towards Vera as she looked at the rest of the group that was there, she wasn't sure who fell and she couldn't see in the dark either. "Anyone know who fell off the ledge?" Lauren asked she made sure that she didnt stay to close to the ledge as she could continue to hear the alarm going off, and raised an eyebrow when she heard the captain's response but Lauren didnt really say anything. Sure some Americans had done some stupid things, but Lauren wouldn't jump overboard to try and save a person really.

Cassandra nodded slightly as she followed Kahlan through the small ship, getting a good look at the cockpit before following the Tok'Ra into the back of the ship where the hyperdrive and the bomb was set up. She took a moment to look at it as she set her things down on the ground and made her way towards the device. She started to inspect it just a little bit as she eyed Kahlan as she removed the panel seeing the crystals within. She listened to her as the Tok'Ra explained the process, as Cass ran a hand through her hair letting out a slight sight.

"So underfire by aliens, dismantling an alien bomb, on an alien ship, on an alien planet, right no pressure at all.." She watched Kahlan remove the first crystal as she started to do the same thing. She quickly stopped as she heard a humming sound and symbols also appearing on the sides of it. Which didn't seem like a good thing at all, as Cassandra nodded slightly as she went to remove the next crystal.

Callie leaned back in her seat as she looked out the window noticing the car in front of them with the Purifier bumper sticker, which made her roll her eyes slightly. "At least it's not a MAGA bumper sticker." She said sarcastically as she looked at both Havok and Sapphire as the two of them sat next to her in the back. She shook her head slightly as she could feel the back get a little bit cold, but Callie did say or do anything yet as she looked back out the window. It didn't take to long until they were at their location as Callie climbed out of the back seat.

She looked at the apartment complex that was just a block away, as she looked over at Veil and gave her a nod looking at Havok and Colossus and gave them a slight wave. "Good luck boys." Callie said as she started to follow Veil alongside her and nodded slightly, she wanted to use her powers but knew that it wouldn't look well for them right now. She wasn't sure what would be waiting for them inside of the apartment complex once they entered it. "Lead the way boss lady." Callie said smiling at Veil.

Riley made sure that Amelia remained very close to her, as she eyed the man named Maddog as she looked at Ashton nodding ever so slightly towards him. She decided to but her revolver back into the holster she had on her, as she listened to Ashton as he spouted off some military lingo that she didn't really know or understand. Riley still couldn't help but be suspicious but if this group had been really well stocked and then they would be safe behind walls once more. She eyed Jamie seeing the little baby sneeze feeling bad for the little guy taking care of him from time to time as well was tough.

Then the pilot on the orders of the man spoke over the radio which she didn't really understand the military sounding lingo either before Maddog spoke again. She raised an eyebrow and looked over towards Ashton, they were to turn in all their weapons and supplies to them and go to a supposed safe zone. "Are you sure about this Ashton?" Riley whispered towards him, she wasn't fond of letting go of any of her things, but she would follow Ashton regardless she wasn't questioning him Riley just wasn't sure what to think of this group of if they were another Eden again.

Erica just face palmed herself, at both Wayne and Hank and shook her head slightly as much as she trusted Hank more than Wayne both of them weren't really making things better. As Erica looked at Nigel for a moment as she shouldered her shotgun over her shoulder, and ran a hand through her hair. She started to think just going their separate ways once they got out of the swamp was preferable as Erica looked at Wayne mentioning a duck. "It was probably all in your head." Erica said as she looked at the group before her, and noticed the orange tabby cat running between Wayne's legs and scampered off to the other group.

Hadrian did have a good question as well. "If we are accepted into your group, what would you expect from us?" Erica asked, the last group she had been apart of ended up dying rather quickly due to another group and a storm also made sure it was pretty much destroyed as well shortly after. Erica wasn't sure what both Hank and Wayne would do, maybe Wayne would actually get sober if he was allowed in the group as well.

Sophia looked over at the door seeing Gilbert coming in and smiled slightly towards him, feeling better that they were working together on a plan together for something. She looked over at Alexandra as she mentioned maybe they were related in someway which did match what she had sort of been tuning into. As Sophia started to think more on these strangers her eyes turned towards the door of the kitchen house seeing three women entering the room. They were singing some kind of strange song which made her feel uncomfortable as she watched them take some of their dirty linens that were inside the Kitchen House.

"Yeeeaaah I saw that to, remind me to make sure I lock up my room more often from now on." Sophia said, she didn't know what to think of these people really anymore right now. But Andromeda did have a point they needed to find out more about these people and try and get along with them an maybe some would be willing to spill some information. She stood up and made sure her fake hand was securely on her now and got up and followed James out. "Lets go make nice with the really strange and creepy neighbors then." Sophia said letting out a slight sigh as she started to make her way towards the carnival grounds again, eyeing the management car as Gil started to knock on the door.
