Ok Part 3 should be the last part of this situation in New York!

We shall be working on it tomorrow!

So far, America’s trip to Earth-76031 wasn’t going all too well. The first issue was that she had been right in thinking that this New York was significantly lacking in its Korean Barbeque delicacies. She had already been here a good couple of hours and her eyes had yet to fall upon an acceptable eating establishment! To make matters worse, the young Latina had received the most judgmental and confused looks when she had enquired about the location of New York’s Koreatown that in the end she had just given up with her search. Honestly she wasn’t that bothered, although considering she had been out cracking skulls for most of the night before jumping over to this dimension, her stomach was starting to rumble. Especially given that it had been midway through the morning when she had arrived.

Her arrival. Now that was another issue entirely! America Chavez had expected to arrive in the midst of a huge interdimensional Mutant Growth Hormone operation although all she was met with during her arrival was a seemingly abandoned warehouse located near the docks. No guards. No drugs. Nothing. Honestly if anything that concerned her. Not only was this chico able to hop across the multiverse, but they were certainly good at clearing their tracks. They were definitely here though. She’d be able to tell instantly if they had darted off again. That left America with a dilemma. What now? Surely it would be wise to go for help. Maybe even find the Avengers if this world had such a thing. Or differently, she could simply hit the streets and hope that the drug trade was also taking place here. Find the user. Find the dealer. Find the supplier. How hard could that be?

“Er... Miss?” A gruff voice caught America’s attention. “I… er.. I know y’ didn’t take the elevator but y’ still need t’ buy a ticket to be up ‘ere!”
Lowering the hot dog she had been eating from her mouth, America eyes fell upon an extremely large middle aged security guard. Stifling a laugh, she rose from where she had been sat; the corner of the Empire State Building’s observation deck. She often found herself perched on the top of one of the many Empire State Buildings back on Earth-212, with her even owning an apartment at the top of one neither Liberty Mountain. She had flown up here at the earliest opportunity to relax, with the place reminding her of her home. Well, one of her homes.

“Sorry Chico. I’ll be on my way then.” Giving the man a short salute, she dived into the air off the side of the building and plummeted. After relishing the rush of air for several seconds, America took off, souring forward through the air.

That was when America was hit by a flying green monster.

It was like being hit by a wall of bricks. Under the force of the humungous beast, the teenager was sent flying into the ground, her body tearing up a small section of the road. Her ears ringing from the collision, America winced and groaned in pain as she lifted herself up out of the ground. Sure she was durable, but that still hurt like a bitch!

She strained her eyes as she took in the sights around her. Everywhere she looked, civilians were screaming and panicking. Sirens filled the air, as well as the hum of helicopters and screeching of rubber on concrete. Oh dios! How had she missed this. She watched as several military grade vehicles charged along the street past her, heading in the opposite direction as the evacuating people. Heading towards the abomination that had hit her. Abomination was entirely the wrong word. America’s jaw dropped as she realized what that creature was. The Hulk.

Despite the fact that she preferred to stay away from the big players wherever she visited, America Chavez knew exactly who this bozo was. People who said she had anger issues had definitely never met this guy. The Hulk was stronger. Stronger than strong even. Normally he was out fighting the good fight, a fact America Chavez was very fortunate of, although now that didn’t seem the case. The being that lay before her, reaping havoc to New York City, was certainly not here to smash any bad guys. He was out of control.

Grimacing, America stepped forward and brushed the remainder of the debris from her denim jacket. Old big, mean and green may be considerably strong, but she had to at least try to help. Charging forward, she once more took to the sky and shot towards the green beast. Verging towards the sidewalk, her hands clasped around the top of a street light and with a short tug, she had pulled it free from the ground. Slowing down she steadied herself behind the beast.

“Oi, Hulkling!” She called, swinging the street lamp towards the Hulk as if it were a baseball bat. “Lighten up!”
Yeah I completely agree on hulk being first but its about the timing which is why I'm making the f4 a week old at worst, and just changed at the soonest.

While don't you just have Johnny call him The Thing, similar to how he named the team in the first F4 film, and then just have him eventually change it to Grey Hulk in the future?
I'll have Loki turn up then and give her the chance to make an appearance before I unleash a moment of awesome.

As long as this can happen I'll be fine: :P

The laws of physics can kiss my ass

Player Name: natty

Character You Wish To Play: America Chavez, Miss America

Moral Alignment: Hero

Affiliation: Formally the Teen Brigade

Character Origin & Backstory:
America Chavez grew up in a mysterious place named the Utopian Parallel with her mums. The Utopian Parallel is a place that strangely exists far from all other worlds; out of time and the multiverse itself. It was created many years ago by a Godly entity known as the Demiurge, the sentient life force of Earth's biosphere who seeded the Earth with 'pieces' of its own life essence. Life didn’t stay like paradise for long. At the age of six, America watched as destruction approached her home, with a black hole appearing in the sky. Tragically, the hole was attempting to pull her home directly into the multiverse, which would potentially destroy all life on the Parallel in the process. America’s mothers, the guardians of the Utopian Parallel, heroically sacrificed their bodies and souls in order to seal the black hole. Eager to help her mothers, America flew towards the hole not knowing what her parents were doing. This resulted in her being sucked through, with America finding herself alive and well in the multiverse.

Due to her mothers’ particles being smeared across the entire Multiverse as a result of them sealing the black holes, America found that she could now physically kick open her own doorways through reality, allowing her to travel the multiverse at her will. Deciding to make her parents proud and to honour their sacrifice, she trained and explored, eventually adopting the moniker ‘Miss America’, and began fighting crime and against any threats that she came across.

Eventually, Miss America became a member of the Teen Brigade, a team of teenager superheroes led by the Ultimate Nullifier. They faced many threats during their time together, although none of them that major, with the group regularly going toe to toe with z-listers or simple thugs and robbers. It was mainly for these reasons why America soon decided to leave, with her believing that she could probably do a much better job on her own. Well that, and the fact that she had begun a relationship with the Ultimate Nullifier who defiantly wasn’t her type by a long shot.

While still travelling the multiverse, America tends to frequently reside on Earth-212, a platonic perfect ideal of New York, where the metropolis has swept the entire globe and there’s mountains made of statues of liberty. This is when she discovers Earth-76031, with her realizing that here is crime rates are high and people are in serious need of a good punching.

Powers and Abilities:
  • Superhuman strength – America is able to lift around 15 tons while exerting herself.
  • Self-Propelled Flight – America has the ability of self-propelled flight.
  • Superhuman durability – While not completely invulnerable, America is fully capable of taking a beating before going down.
  • Interdimensional Travel – Chavez is able to physically kick open holes in reality, allowing herself, as well as others, to travel the multiverse and through other dimensions.
  • Bilingual – America is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Sample Story Arcs:
  • Welcome to Earth - Miss America's debut on Earth-76031 doesn't exactly go to plan when she encounters the Hulk.
  • Damage Control – Miss America struggles to redeem her actions after the fight against the Hulk.
  • Interdimensional Drug Dealing – Find the dealer. Find the supplier. Punch them in the face. Easy enough right? Although first she's going to need an animalistic tracker to help hunter them down.

Sorry to be a pain @Dedonus but was i ever accepted? :)
I presume you mean "Threats"? :P

A clear example as to why you should remember to proof-read before posting! Cheers for pointing that out to me!

Photon plugged his ears to keep the socic weapon from ruining his hearing.

Seconds later, a high pitched screech filled the air, with Dominic's gauntlets being the sound's source. A strangely calming tune could also be heard, which was somewhat mixed in to the noise. All around the heroes, the civilians stopped in their tracks as the sound met their ears, with the pupils of their eyes increasing in size. The people ran, as if chased off by the sound, heading towards the exits as fast as they possibly could, their bodies fading away in nothingness as they entered the doorways. Ah hypnosis. Piper's tech had been one of the most complicated pieces he had operated on during his time among the Rogues. What had been even more complicated was assigning it to his gauntlets so that he didn't have to prance around with a flute. Luckily it did the job, enabling Kid Rogue to clear the entire area, or so he thought.

It seems that Magenta, while initially being distracted by Guardian Angel taking to the sky, was quick to catch on to what was going on. The villain followed suit and covered her ears, glaring at the two teenagers still on the ground as she did so. Once the sound of the hypnotic blast came to an end, she sprung right back into action, with her sending what appeared to be a metal bar in Dominic’s direction. The blunt force of the bar knocked the technopath to the floor, where the teen groaned in both pain and annoyance.

When the man was done attacking, Photon walked over to him and touched his arm to get his attention. "Here, let me try." he said. "The thing about magnets is that they stop working when you heat them up." Photon pulled light from his suit and shifted it into the infrared. After a few seconds he had gathered and, the hard part, shifted enough light. He focused it into a beam and fired at the holographic enemy, but the woman had lifted a manhole cover in the way. All he managed to accomplish was to create a red-glowing manhole cover. "Huh. I guess it's not going to be that easy, then." he said.

"Well..." coughed Dominic as he climbed to his feet, evidently still winded from the metal bar. “Well at least you tried mate.”

Swooping down where her teammates could hear her, Angel spoke. "I do not posses any weapons for range. To assist I need to face our opponent directly. Flying to her does not appear to be a wise decision. Should she be distracted I may be able to get close enough to attack." She avoided what remained of the manhole cover. Agility wouldn't win them the day though.

Scourge uncovered his ears when the sound stopped. He was rather impressed by the ability but now was not the time to lollygag. He looked to the man who mentioned heat and magnets. "Well if it's heat you want, it's heat I got." He stated shooting a stream of fire at Magenta, the fire turned blue as he slowly began to heat up his body. Not enough to cause him physical exhaustion but just enough to rise the temperature of his flames. He still wasn't used to using his abilities to attack others but he assumed he would get used to it.

The villain's attention was swiftly turned toward him. "Someone do something quick before I get hit. I'm not used to this whole attacking thing." He stated honestly as he slowly moved behind a random object for a little bit of cover, unsure if what he was doing had the desired effect or not. "Here is your opening Angel I'd take it now! I know how to control these enough to not burn you.

Hearing Scourge's cry for help, Kid Rogue darted off to the left, circling around behind Magenta. As he ran, he plunged his hand through one of the mirrors on his gauntlets. Entering the mirror dimension was always an odd experience although Dominic liked to think that he had gotten used to it by now. Rumaging around, he found a grenade to his liking and pulled it out through the mirror portal. Activating the explosive, he tossed it towards the villainess. The explosion was small in size, although enough to distract her from Scourge.

Recovering quickly, Magenta turned, this time so that Guardian Angel was now located behind her. Scourge was right, this was certainly time for Guardian Angel to make her move.

Her teammates did work surprisingly well together given they'd never had the chance to practice. Spotting what would likely be the best opening Angel flew up and clasped her hands together. Hands raised they came down like a club on her back. The impact forced Magneta down. The villian's attempt to recover was met by Angel flying straight down, feet first. Hitting the ground, Magneta was decently shaken up. The whole thing was not particulatly elegant but effective. "You all make excellent allies."

"You're not so bad yourself feath... Guardian Angel." Kid Rogue gave the female a smile, as he approached the rest of the team. Around them the room seemed to fade away, disappearing as fast as it had originally appeared. They did a good job. Well, a good job for their first try as a team. "Yo, Mr Tornado!" He called loudly to the control room. "How'd we do?"

I believe I'm finally done with the sample post and thus the CS! Gave her a reason as to why she's actually on Earth-76031 too!
While this is in the Advanced section, I will accept Casual-level posts (high-casual would be welcomed, but do whatever you are comfortable). Just know that this is supposed to be a friendly environment for people to grow as writers (and roleplayers). Maybe if you begin writing at a casual level. Maybe you can only write a paragraph or two. You can use this environment to build yourself up (i.e. if you can write 2 paragraphs, try writing one additional one). No one here expects you to write a novella-sized posts in this RP.

I think the "Advanced" label in this thread covers the post rate more than post length. This roleplay might move slower than other ones (especially in casual).

Ok that definitely shouldn't be a problem! Thank you for explaining! I'll obviously try to write as much as possible, etc!
Perhaps I remember differently - but wasn't the Teen Brigade a group where Rick Jones and his friends talked to each other via radios?

Oh yeah they were! Although apparently America was part of a second version led by that Ultimate Nullifier guy so I thought i'd use it for her history!
