I keep forgetting that cause in the original run she had a shotgun that she used on the mission we had. She barely used the sword. xD

Touché

But we are talking about the same Deadpool that Marvel actually said publicly, "We know... We fucked up" xD

ah, the hidden nonsense that went on in the great war... reminds me of that scottish infantryman who rode down german outposts on a motorbike while wielding a bastard sword. At least, I'm pretty sure that happened.

edit: yup, this guy definitively existed, same guy as in the picture too. Oh, and that was a training exercise, but your point still stands.

@KabenSaal
As well as what i said in my last post, I'm just going to point out some details that may need to be looked into as some things, in my opinion, don't mesh up correctly with the overall theme of the rp.

But, as soon as she was able to do all of them, she was trained in her father's trade of gun and knife, or occasionally sword.

Its a futuristic RP that involves mechs. While guns are believable, us as humans in today's age stopped using swords before ww1 which was also the introduction of firearms. Taking that into consideration, I don't think anyone would really be trained in sword use for war purposes when we have giant NC Mechs.

There were strange feelings about when she was inside, and any sort of mistep caused her to feel it, and it hurt.

The ability to feel in an NC may not be that high. Remember they probably don't have pain sensors so stubbing your toe shouldn't hurt. The pain a pilot would feel would come from your mind loosing it's connection with the limb or such. May need clarification from LHG or Gowi, but it seems the way you described it is a little too sensitive when you're going to be shot at by missiles.

Upon landing the near-thirty foot drop, it felt like her legs were going to break, and that sudden shock dazed her for quite a while.

NCS can drop out of flight from several hundred feet in the sky. They are also taller than 30 feet in some cases. Again, the sensitivity is a little too high.

Overall, I also think your NC would be lacking a bit in armaments when compared to some others. You have said she won't have much weaponary or guns and instead will charge into battle. An NC can move at about the same speed as mech warrior online, so that's about 50km/h. Without any weapons or armaments, she'd be pretty easy pickings for someone like my Tahlia and her Spyder.

Just keep in mind that the RP is still technically listed as full, even after having a couple of people leave. It'll be up to Gowi if he wants more players but ArkCat has also been keeping in the loop as well for possible positions, so if it gets opened to you, it'll be opened to him and Gowi will pick the one that best suits our needs.

Just saying cause you could come up with a good idea, but you may not be accepted due to the closed applications status.

Since your character went to her room...
- Tahlia went to her room after a game of poker, then went to go eat. She's a little drunk and not feeling great.
- Jingo has shown that he is an expert shooter by blowing up the target completely, leaving it unknown if he hit the center.
- Percy got hit on by a lovely lady that wants to bang him. Later when they went to dinner, Ana basically asked "are you gay" in front of everyone.
- Jan is sitting with Tahlia.
- Stein met her father and went off crying to her NC
- Agatha followed Stein and basically is telling her to grow up, in a polite way of course
- Josh is... somewhere.
- Vera and Eli are... somewhere (but Eli kicked ass in the VR)
- Joe is becoming a DJ

And I think that's everyone

Binding of Isaac: Rebirth
It's a game about a child who travels down dungeons in his mother's basement while fighting the monsters and horrors he encounters. It's based on a similar game style as the old days Zelda games mixed in with RNG. So if you find the right items you can be a flying demon that shots lasers out of his eyes. xD

Axiom Verge on the other hand is a game designed off old Metroid/Castlevania style. I am really hyped for this one as it's been out on PC for a year and is getting ported to Vita. It just has an amazing sound track with a cool platform style. :D

@A Tattooed Girl
Sounds like my day. 8.5 hours of work and now watching Despicable Me. :P

Might game a little later. Dunno what to play though... Maybe a speedrun of Binding of Isaac. I say that and yet I'll somehow end up playing something else completely. :P

Just waiting for Axiom Verge to get released later this month on Vita... SO looking forward to that game! :D

Barracks / Mess Hall - New Anchorage

Tahlia sat on the ground with her back against the bed, knees up against her body. She held her left hand up in the air, looking at both her wrist and the bracelets that were surrounding it. The bracelets themselves hid away part of the southern cross tattoo that extended up covering about a third of her forearm, and whilst looking at her markings she was also counting the beads on each band. Her fingers plucked each timber ball with a gentle tug and Tahlia watched them spring back to her skin when she released the pressure. They gave a slight rattle like a maraca as the wood knocked against the neighbouring bead, transferring it's energy to the following one, and the one there after. The room was silent except for the clicking of Tahlia's actions.

She looked at the clock, remembering that it was mentioned somewhere that Dinner was from 6pm. Cautiously, Tahlia placed her hands on the ground and pushed herself up. Walking slowly over to the bathroom she took a look in the broken mirror, trying to glimpse her face. The eyes were red, she had dark shadows under them, and her overall expression was just giving off the aura of tired exhaustion. The tap flipped on, and her hands plunged into the warm stream of water scooping up a cupful and throwing it on her face. With a gentle pad of a towel she gave another look at herself, noting that her look of death warmed up hadn't really gone away.

"Pull yourself together," she mumbled to herself knowing that it wouldn't necessarily stop the hurt, but would drive her to rebuild her composure. The sound of glass crunching under Tahlia's shoes could be heard as she left the bathroom and made her way for the main door, pulling her hoody over her head to both protect her face from the cold outside, and hide away from the world once more.

Tahlia entered the mess hall, hoping no one would notice that she looked like ratshit. She could see a few of the other pilots surrounding a table with the man she saw on the train earlier acknowledging the girl known as Stein. According to Philip and Thomas, Stein was the first in a generation of Volkov Artificial Intelligence. A smart, highly skilled girl that did not compute when it came to any sort of personal emotion. Sitting with her and now talking to the older gentleman was Agatha Smith. For an older generation of pilot she was quickly making her rounds in getting comfortable with the other pilots on base, showing the younger ones that age doesn't always matter. Tahlia passed them and proceeded to the serving table, picking up a tray and making her own rounds in an effort to collect as much food as she could handle in her current, terrible state. On her plate was a few greasy bacon rashes, some baked potatoes and a couple sausages, a necessary item that would lubricate the arteries and help reduce her sickly alcoholic feeling.

When Tahlia turned to reface the seating area, she noticed that it was starting to fill up with more and more people. She was tempted to sit on her own, away from the others for the evening, but she already had enough of that feeling of solitude in her own room. The Australian walked over to the table where the two girls were sitting, dropping her tray onto the hard bench like a convict in a supermax prison before plonking down both next to Stein, opposite Agatha and the new occupant, Jan.

"Well, he seems like a lighthearted guy... must be great at parties, isn't he?"

Tahlia caught the last of Jan's sentence as she stabbed the fork into some diced up potato and moved along to a folded up piece of bacon. She lifted up the small stack and fed it into the mouth of her hooded figure, making a small comment before taking a bite. "So who is he? He seemed to know a fair bit about 'Slave Boy' when we were on the train."
