The Character You Really Want To Play

I have a concept for this beserker chick in my head that weilds two large, sort of oversized butcher's knives that are connected to each other by chain, meaning she can juggle them a bit like nunckucks or something.

On top of that she would also be somewhat demonic or skilled in some witchcraft and thus has poisonous blood. Drawing the blood onto the edge of the blade will give it a poison effect that will start to numb the senses of whatever it infects, and if she starts loosing blood she will enter an enraged state and will increase in power.

Maybe I could use it in an arena like battle, but just never found quite the RP for her to be used in.

So this will go off topic but one of my favourite YouTube channels is CinemaSins. This Guy makes his living off critiquing and mocking movies for their generic tropes. The more he enraged people about their favourite movie, the more views he gets for a particular upload.

To make an example, a movie may have a scene where it flashes an aerial view of Paris with the Eiffel Tower somewhere in the shot and the location text that all movies use, indicating that we are looking at Paris, France.

CinemaSins would catch that moment and dub, "Really? Just in case you got mixed up with Paris, Idaho..."

Anyway, just wanted to plug CinemaSins cause it's halarious and if you find a good video, it keeps you laughing for a good 10 minutes with the generic tropes that Hollywood loves to use. ;D

No problem. It's not a difficult thing, just takes time. I find adding BB tags fun though as it's helping to build something cool... but then again I also enjoy sorting out different size screws in my RC pit bag (Yay for being Random!)

@Pair of Hearts You keep on saying there's a Venus invasion, though most of the women shown are either Gay or Bi. The men are both straight and they only got Carmen and Nora. XD I think an even proportion of women/men/nonbinaries (if that's not PC please don't shoot me) to fill up the gap would probably solve itself. Either way I'd just let things progress naturally when the RP begins, most sample sizes in experiments aren't exactly the best.

Sample size can be changed with something as small as time. If @Pair of Hearts posted this a few weeks earlier, you yourself wouldn't be on the forum and thus the stats would change. I will say it's rather interesting how the slightest of difference in events can change the overall outcomes, much like the Sliding Doors movie.

I'm no master of coding. I have no idea what you are talking about. I do not like to use colour at all... _{that is because all coding uses the color tags instead.}

Why would anyone ever use Colour CCCCCC on the eyes. The harsh colours of White are much more appealing. If you don't believe me then just look at this paragraph. That word White just draws so much attention that I don't see why anyone would ever use it. Even if you Bold the word as well, it just draws a lot more attention.

Who uses indents on their text. No I just love big blocks of text that flow into each other. And TABs are useless. Why would people want to underline a TAB button press. It's just a blank empty space. Here is a List of more things that suck.

❖ Never Look at the Raw

Seriously, stalking cool sheets and checking out how they used their tags is not cool. Never click the View Raw on the top right of the post. It is not cool to think of them like bookends around text. You should always try to [i][b]misalign[/i][/b] BB tags so they do not work.

One more thing... At the top of a CS never modify it to have one of these:

Rant 1: my weaknesses in roleplaying and my apparent lack of ability or motivation to fix them.
This one is pretty much self explanatory except for what I am not so good at in this hobby of mine. I've been at the level I have in terms of roleplaying for about a year and a half or so, where I'm able to post a somewhat decent reply that satisfies whom I roleplay with. The posts are usually not too long and not too short, just enough to fit into what I would describe as a half-step above Casual roleplays. And this is what dissatisfies me. I've attempted to increase my understanding of many words in the english language not commonly used in day-to-day affairs,as well as the general length of my posts to no avail. I'm constantly stuck in this little void and I can't seem to muster the motivation and the brainpower to produce a post that flows easily and explains what I want it to easily. Another problem related to this is that I am appallingly horrible at sentence structure in my own native language, to the point where I doubt myself constantly when I write papers. I want out but I just can't seem to find my bearings in this vast sea.

No, seriously... I was shit at English. Final year 12 exam mark was what they call a mystery mark, meaning I got less than 50%. Even these days while reading I need to place my finger on the line or scroll the page to a certain point to make it easier. It's why I write with colour too as it helps me to read my own work. So fuck those who tell me it's not the "traditional" way of doing things. I'm not dyslexic or anything, but I do have difficulties in out spoken reading and occasional writing.

Why am I saying this? Because English is one thing that really has no wrong answers. There are "better" ways to convey a sentence and more optimal ways to describe something, but as long as you're clear in your wording, even small errors can be overlooked. Besides, practice makes perfect.

Sounds like you have a pickle and this is what can be annoying about group rps. Been in a few that have failed and it's sometimes due to one person who holds everything up. I feel your pain.
