I'm probably boring and unimaginative enough to just do a Britain... But I'm not sure. I am toying with another idea that could be very fun.

Heh, Britiain would have a drastically different history in this universe, since they wouldn't have conquered a lot of countries. I'm sure that alone is enough to get creative with!

@Obscene Symphony xD History doesn't matter here. We can have our characters know each other beforehand, from trade talks or something. Egypt and Rome didn't get along so well but for the sake of the RP I'd imagine we can mess with that.

I was going to keep my Roman Empire confined to modern-day Italy. A mere afterthought of the Empire's former glory.

Perhaps our countries wanted to ease their tensions with a merger of sorts? Sounds like reason for a betrothal! Hahaha. I think the GM actually picks the betrothals.

@romanaria If I'm not mistaken, it's likely our characters would know each other if you're playing the Roman Empire. I'm sorry, the Romans didn't get Egypt this time. But I think they were or would become close trade partners? Does that sound right? My Egyptian history is rusty as fuck, haha.

My Eternal Struggle

I'm having such a hard time figuring out what type of culture to go for! I was thinking something along the lines of Indian/Spanish (can you tell I'm heavily influenced by ASOIAF's Dorne? XD) or perhaps a strange meld of Germany and Korea. I don't even have any cultural heritage to base my inspiration on XD Unless I was able to play the Moonshiner's son, haha. Hmm, maybe I'll go nordic? I DON'T KNOW
