ALSO I AM SO SORRY IF THERE ARE ANY TYPOS, USUALLY I PROOFREAD MORE BUT I JUST REALLY NEEDED TO GET THIS OUT BEFORE I DO MY MATH & SPANISH HOMEWORK
UGH SORRY FOR THE WAIT!!! a few things:

- Minkyu is definitely okay with being called sir. he wants to be a cool boss.

- Amelia would like beks but right now she's just too tired to deal with her hyper self

- Amelia no likey mina. mina bad customer.

- tomorrow I won't be on until the evening, so hold tight for a lil bit if you have questions then!

- tbh, after today and sunday night I am basically gone until... Tuesday morning? Monday joyce and I will be on the road and Tuesday is the night of the Astro concert!!! I'll be seeing Minkyu on stage XP stay tuned for exclusive footage of me screaming when they play crazy sexy cool. or not, idk. I may be online Wednesday... and maybe not. it depends on how tired I am after the concert.

- after this it is no longer spring break so I expect my workload to get a little harder... so i'm anticipating less time online as well. or not because I procrastinate 24/7. but I will still try to give café crème a lot of love and time!

that's it. i'm thinking @joyce can decide what march wants to do about bekah, maybe she can cook after all!

This cafe is quickly becoming crowded--too crowded. But before Amelia, still reeling a little from Daehyun's last comment, can react to the current situation(s), Minkyu does, shaking his head at the waiter's question.

"I don't know her," Minkyu admits, trying to evaluate her from his safe place at the back counter. "She, um, just came in. And we're not even open..." But despite this fact, which has been voiced several times by both an accommodating Monty and a disgruntled March, the girl does not seem bothered, expect for a small moment. In fact, she looks almost like she's going to start blaming them for not opening soon enough, something Minkyu is hardly prepared to deal with. He can hardly deal with Mari calling him "sir" because it's a) really weird and b) really cute. How does he even respond to this? Is he really her boss?? (He could get used to this "sir" thing, though...)

Thankfully, Amelia is prepared for everything. The moment she exits the hallway and catches sight of the crowd of employees, customers, and in-betweens, she starts to make sense of the situation. Ah. So we have an early customer, somebody who wants to be hired, and MONTY!

Dashing up to the older man with a bright smile, disregarding the customer he is trying to serve, Amelia gives Monty a tight backhug before taking a deep breath and speaking a very rapid string of words.

"Monty! It's great to see you! You gotta tell me all about your adventures later, and how Victoria is doing!" But first! Before Amelia can catch up with him, she has to take care of this customer, who is quickly earning herself a page in Amelia's "rude customers" book with all her snappish comments regarding the state of the café, something Amelia does not appreciate in the slightest!

"Monty is right, the café is not yet open," Amelia says, trying her best to be sweet despite the generally rude vibe this girl is giving her. "Monty and I will try to serve you the best we can, but the kitchen isn't open yet and so it will take awhile." After this statement, Amelia cannot stop herself from adding tartly "If you wanted a nice breakfast, than maybe you should've tried a restaurant that actually had a open sign." She knows it's hardly the professional thing to do, but she can't help it; that girl is indirectly insulting her café and so it makes sense to give her a little sass. Hopefully Monty won't scold her for it later.

Walking to the back of the shop, Amelia taps Mari on the shoulder and smiles at her kindly. "Mari, your outfit is in the back, why don't you get dressed and watch me serve a customer? It will be good practice for you. And March, might as well get the kitchen running." Where was that girl she saw a moment ago...? Did she run into the kitchens without permission? What a mess...

Poking her head into the kitchens, Amelia clears her throat loudly to get the attention of the blond, small, very excited girl who is flying around the kitchen in a attempt to help.

"Hey, um, this area is for employees only," Amelia tells her, looking a little frazzled at the amount of things she has to set straight. "I appreciate that you're trying to help us, but it might be better if you don't get in March's way. I'm not available to interview you right now, but if March is okay with it, he might be able to do something... after we deal with this customer."

Upper Dorm Hall, Saturday Evening
Interacting with all present characters

The moment Hangyeol sees the girl on the floor, the memories come flooding back. A minor injury he can deal with, but this is--this is too close. This is exactly why he made the decision to move out to Alaska in the first place, and now he has to deal with this? Worst Saturday night ever.

But—and this a very important but, one of the only things keeping Hangyeol half-sane at this point—he is not allowed to crack.

So, when the edges of his vision go blurry, Hangyeol forces it down like he has so many times before; presses his back against the wall, sinks to his knees and breathes, counting the shaky exhales until they start to even out again. Shoving his hands in his pockets, he searches for something to hold onto, something tangible; his fingers happen upon an old receipt and crush it into oblivion. This is not the time to be panicking, not when there is somebody to be saved.

And so Hangyeol grits his teeth. Hauls himself off the ground. Takes one last breath before breaking through the crowd of bystanders, because this is what he's here for.

"She's in shock," he says, breathlessly, heart beating in a way that is not panic-related but rather from a shot of adrenaline. "Keep her warm—use my jacket—and for the love of god, call an ambulance." Pulling off his jacket and using it as a blanket, Hangyeol kneels down next to the body, trying to locate the source of the blood and put a stop to it. He can't believe something like this would happen... no, that's not right. That girl from earlier—though he thought he was just being paranoid again—

"Let's give her some space, alright? And prop her legs up, get the blood flowing."
oh boy Amelia's gonna pound mina into the ground, she hates rude customers :/
both of them have been lovely! i have a feeling bekah and amelia will be good friends~
i'm definitely having fun! it's just that today was slower than usual... but I hope you enjoy ji being a flustered boi :3
Yayyy it's finally done. //throws self off cliff
As Fuyuko gives him the once-over, Ji stares right back, taking note of his new roommate with the same casual-yet-inquisitive air that rarely ever leaves him. He personally doesn't mind being stared at, as long as it's out of simple curiosity and not, say, disgust. But Ji highly doubts that she's doing this out of hatred. To be curious is a cat's nature, after all.

"She's a delicate one," he thinks, noting appreciatively her slanted, cat-like eyes and, from what he can tell, short stature. That's a lucky break; would be embarrassing if she towered over him. Her hair seems to be dyed, or at least dyed in the past; Ji clicks his tongue at that, remember how fried his old buddy's hair would become after every bleaching session they undertook in his old dingy bathroom.

To Ji's surprise, though, Fuyuko sits up, spine completely straight, like she's been—what's the expression?—struck by lightning. Or, Ji, thinks, like somebody stepped on her tail. But the more he looks at her, ears perked up in an expression of interest, it seems like she's been frightened by something, or someone. But there's nobody else in the room. And Ji hardly thinks he's scary enough to scare a cat stiff like that. He frowns, intended to put forth a delicate question or two, but before he can open his mouth Fuyuko beats him to it, letting out a small squeak or two of fear.

Ji's eyes narrow. What's the deal? She isn't suffering from a panic attack or something, is she? And what if she is—Ji's seen a thing or two, but he certainly isn't prepared to deal with one on his own. Thankfully, before Ji can call room service or 911, Fuyuko makes her mad dash to safety, flinging her guitar onto the bed and turning tail (literally, he notes, finding her bobbed tail kind of cute) into the bathroom before slamming the door and locking it with a click.

Huh. Not really sure what happened there, but you do you I guess. Did he scare her? It's not like he was going to hurt her, and there was nothing he said that would make her think so... Unless she finds his brokeness cause for alarm.

Ji gives a quick snort of laughter. You and me both. But it seems like Fuyuko has gotten over... whatever it was, because he can hear the showerhead turn on. She's probably just stressed. With the lobby like that, he doesn't blame her. Probably got more than a few remarks, maybe even some unwanted petting to make everything feel grosser.

As he waits for Fuyuko to finish her shower so that he can take a quickie before bed, Ji stretches out on the remaining empty bed, going over possible solutions to his money problem before he shakes his hand and simply lies there. There's not really anything he can do, so he's not going to worry about it. Things have been worse. At least he has a bed, and a working heating system. Maybe he'll take a nap...

Yeah, that seems like a good idea. Curling up into a tight ball, Ji draws his tail in, cat ears drooping forward as he closes his eyes and tries to snuggle even more into his hoodie. Used to sleeping on benches, the bus, the ground, or really any place that he can lie down on, Ji often finds things like pillows and sheets distracting when trying to get comfortable. But the soft, comfy material of the mattress is a plus... definitely...

Unfortunately, before Ji can fully drift off, his sharp hearing alerts him of the shower's end, and soon after Fuyuko's voice—kind of soft, but maybe that's just the sleep talking—filters out of the bathroom's cracked door to Ji's attentive ears.

"Ah, I'm sorry but, um, I forgot to bring any clothes with me so um, do you think can, do you think you can uh, turn around and not look this way for a bit pleaseandthankyou."

Ah.

Much to his chagrin, Ji does not respond to this news calmly, as he hoped he would. Instead, his face flushes a bright red, the blush reaching even the back of his neck, which is hopefully the only bit that Fuyuko can see; he's thankful that his hoodie covers most everything except a small sliver of skin. What is he, a highschooler? He should be able to deal with a simple awkward situation such as this! He's fine. Totally unbothered!

Despite this attempt at reassurance, Ji's posture has completely seized up; hastily sitting up with his back opposite to the bathroom door, his tail and ears straighten up considerably, assuming an at-the-ready position. The atmosphere of the room has adopted a very awkward vibe, and Ji has to will his body to relax, still feeling hyper-aware of the, um, not properly clothed girl in the room.

Curse you, teenage hormones and lack of dating experience! His old roommate's words ring in his ears: Ji, to get around in this world you actually have to talk to girls, you know? Take it from me, they aren't easy to please. (To which his girlfriend would whack him on the shoulder and mutter something disapproving... Wait, that's irrelevant.)

Ji shakes his head. No matter. He just has to keep his cool.

"No, it's not a problem," he says, trying very hard to stop his voice from cracking. "Just, uh, tell me when you're done." Nailed it.
HI I'M AWAKE IT JUST TOOK UNTIL 12

right now i'm working on a double post for the twins (which is totally not just because I ran out of Minhyuk gifs), joyce is currently on the road but she can probably take over the whole beks situation AFTER Amelia starts yelling orders left and right and getting everything under control. also congrats to mari topping minkyu's highscore!

I think right now it would be nice if @Beefydork could get another post out but Amelia will start separating people into groups so nothing gets TOO chaotic.
