I think it was in the iCheck or maybe one of the convos in the titanpad, but I had considered a Primary Character and a Secondary Character for that reason. I'm completely down for that if it makes the universe building thing easier to work with.

So yeah, rather than write up another post and work with what's already happened and writing a character out we'll just take a step back and ease into this a little differently. Might even make a different character since so many archetypes will be available again. Bummer though, was looking forward to using some werewolf gifs I'd found like this one...

So... if our brute is gone then I'll likely make him a casualty of Shayd to set the behemoth up as more of a threat. Still though, if nobody wants to take Shayd down I'll have him leap away or create a sandbox hero to deal with him that somebody else can do something with later on. Apologies to those still in the game. I know dropouts won't effect this game in nearly the same way as others, but it's still something we have to work around. I'd almost wanna just hit the reset button and start over to get rid of half the characters in the character tab no longer in the game...

Did everyone get the memo where you didn't HAVE to use that villain? The appeal was that everything wasn't happening to your characters, some things were going on in the background. If you even chose to write your character on the same day even, you had the option of mentioning it happening sooner or later in your posts or not at all.

You give people too little room to work and they complain, you give them all the room they could ask for... and they complain. This was in the OP of the iCheck, so I don't understand why it's hard to grasp...

I'm also going to be one of those people who insist this is a High Casual RP. I'm not exactly looking for Advanced level length posts, I just don't want to have to assist everyone with their own individual stories because that isn't what this game is about. Two or three players could be working on their own thing in the game while I'm mimicking a battle like Hulk vs Thing or Superman vs Batman with another player in the background.

If Futures End didn't just die along with Titans of Gotham I'd consider it. Right now though if I do another DC themed game it's gotta be something I haven't already tried half a dozen times. Might make a Suicide Squad RP if I can find the right players/characters for it, or maybe something like Batman Inc or or Justice League International.

Marvel knows how to make step by step movies for their superheroes, but if you've seen one you've seen them all. Aside from the first Avengers film, Winter Solider, Guardians of the Galaxy, and probably Civil War... they've all been kinda...



... with DC they're still trying to figure out how to showcase their characters in a way that isn't the same formula for every movie. Ironman 2 and 3 were both picked apart by fans and critics, same for Thor Dark World, and even Avengers AoU didn't do as well as TPTB expected. Batman V Superman wasn't the raging success it was supposed to be, but it did enough work in one film to set up an entire franchise of other movies. I'm even more excited for DC's future since my favorite Green Lantern [Kyle Rayner FTW!] may be in the GLC flick. Only thing that'd ruin that is if they go the super-Spanish route which has been a gimmick thrown at the character to make it seem like their GL line is more diverse. He was part Irish with a mother from Europe and never knew his father, then when his father's revealed to be Spanish eight years after the GL was introduced he starts speaking a little Spanish here and there and now we have the shit fest that was super-Spanish Kyle speaking fluent Spanish prayers with a darker skin complexion.
