Hello out there! My name's Mason. I like a lot of random stuff like comics, Masters of the Universe, M*A*S*H, X-Files, conspiracy theories, as well as a good superhero themed role play! I'm more of a DC freak than a Marvel zombie but I did grow up on mutants and 3rd string heroes. Once in awhile I'll make a few micros in MSPaint for my RP's because I love designing heroes as much as I do writing/reading about them. I'm about to try and get another random themed game off the ground, if you're interested gimme a shout!

I've been RP'ing for awhile. I mostly RP to keep my writing skills up to par, and I generally RP between Casual and Advanced. I've been a member of the guild for quite a bit, pre Guildfall even. Ninety percent of the time you'll find me in some superhero themed RP or something based off of another fandom like MotU or Power Rangers. Currently in the process of developing my own comics!
Favorite DC heroes (I won't go into villains to save space) in no order: Aquaman, Hawkman, Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), Superboy (the clone), Swamp Thing, Starman, Animal Man, the Ray (90's era), Impulse, Captain Atom, and Batman Beyond.
Favorite Marvel heroes list: Human Torch I & II, Capt. Mar-Vell, Black Bolt, the classic Destroyer, Havok, Multiple Man, classic Scarlet Spider, Spiderman 2099, Nova, and Colossus.
OTHER FAVORITES: Space Ghost, the Rocketeer, the Maxx, Shadowhawk, Green Hornet, Madman, Doctor Star/Andromeda, the Phantom, He-Man, and Zorro.

"You failed to give me an useful answer but perhaps you misunderstood the question, so let me rephrase it for you. Why are you in Atomic city?" the young masked woman asked catching up to Gemini.
Alex was surprised at her curiosity. He hadn't been in town long, but already seeing superhumans wasn't much of a shocker. The city itself, Atomic City, seemed like something stolen from a comic book. The girl was pale, her black and purple attire just made it all the more obvious in the lights of midtown's rooftops. Gemini could see fangs. 'Was this girl a vampire?' he thought to himself pausing enough to answer her question.
"I'm just passing through, but heard about a rogue superhuman responsible for the deaths of a couple innocent civilians. You don't know anything about this Shadow Walker guy do you? Other than being tall, dark, and leaping out of shadows?" he asked.

Not much to go on but pale skin, fangs, claws, and black/purple clothing. I asked myself 'if a vampire was a superhero how would they dress?' and this is what I came up with.

Rage - that goes for Thunderclap too, since the X-Men aren't actually golden agers. Just mention the Xavier School if you want to address your boy's time there, rather than 'trained to be an X-Man...'

WWII Predecessor: Paul Gibney
Name: Alan Pierce
Alias: the Torch, Torch of Liberty II
Relationship to Predecessor: None. Alan saw a picture of the WWII hero and patterned a similar updated suit. However, in this retrofitted universe, the original Torch of Liberty will likely take the Capt. America type role when it comes to this world.

Powers/Skills/Equipment:
* Fire Generation/Manipulation - Alan can currently create fire from his hands and shoot it
like a flame thrower or shoot compacted bursts of flame hadoken style. This will likely
develop further but nothing too crazy or OP.
* Fire Resistance - Heat and fire don't bother Alan at all. His body is almost one with the
fire around him.
Weaknesses:
* Basic weaknesses of a standard human in light body armor.
* Water and other substances can hinder the 'Torch's abilities for varied times.

After his military unit was captured and tortured by Nazi's while in France, Paul managed to free himself and several other POW's to fight off their captors. Paul was the last man standing and held his dying brother in arms who exclaimed he had a fire in his eyes when he was fighting. 'Paul' died that day and he assumed the identity of the Torch of Liberty and helped turn the tides of war. He fought several key players in the Axis Powers, and continued to free POWs through the end of the war.
In December of 1944, the Torch along with the US Army went into the English Midlands to foil a Nazi experiment to create the perfect super soldier. Project Uber Man was shut down, but after the Torch threw Agent Schmidt into a rip in space time. These events will eventually deal with the coming of Master Man.
Nobody knows what happened to this old man [Gibney] who'd be in his 90's in the context of the game. It's assumed he just got old and died.

He kept in reasonably good shape and once upon a time he was one of the top Boy Scouts in his hometown of Ashwood, TN. He recently developed superhuman powers, able to do things with fire.
The invasion of D.C. came seemingly from nowhere. Within minutes the Axis army of Master Man teleported into the region, while other Nazi superhumans deactivated the nation's nuclear weapons. The armies marched on DC for days killing all those who would stand against them, and Master Man himself executed the President on live television ripping the woman in half.
The military and National Guard have tried for weeks to make a way back into the capital and gain ground but their efforts have all amounted to nothing. If the human armies of the Axis/Nazi superhumans falter one of the superhuman generals steps in.
Alan knew he couldn't sit on the sidelines. He read stories about the heroes during WWII and anything he might use against the super Nazi invaders. Alan took inspiration from the Torch of Liberty when making his own suit and headed for the capital city.
Additional Notes:
Alan's had powers for maybe three weeks tops. However being in the shape he's in and being in the Scouts in his younger years helped him successfully save several POWs just like the man he drew inspiration from. During World War II superhumans and costumed heroes became a staple of American culture much in the same way the genre is in today's world. However, in this world they actually existed in both eras and superheroes worked with the Allied forces to defeat Hitler and his superhuman Axis Army. Now, the great grandchildren of heroes long past their prime as well as unrelated heroes inspired by the classics take up the reigns to combat against the forces of the Fourth Reich.
In the year 2000, the Fourth Reich began to build their army. With their own genetically modified superhuman dubbing himself the 'Master Man' leading the way with his flight, strength, and durability, it wasn't long before the new army came into power and occupied several areas of Europe. Several superpowered freedom fighters have made headlines in Paris, Rome, and Spain such as the Knight, Spartan, and the Whip.
In the year 2017, Master Man and his forces invaded the United States' capital, Washington D.C. When the superhuman war came to the nation's doorstep, the superhumans, vigilantes, and even the superpowered criminals of the generation came together to fight the Nazi supermen.
In this RP, players can take inspiration from cannon characters from WWII or create their own original legacy in the story of how even the criminals of the nation fight against the country's enemies. However, you can also opt to make a supervillain on the side of the Fourth Reich. All heroes and legacies except for a few bigger names are up for reinterpretation. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Captain America, Green Lantern, and the Flash are all off the table however if you want there's still tons of similar characters out there like the Whizzer for the Flash, Ms. America for Wonder Woman, folks like Patriot could stand in for Capt. America, etc.
This RP is mostly inspired by my love for the movie Red Dawn as well as DC Comics classic 'Earth X' where the Nazis won WWII and the Freedom Fighters [originally Quality Comics characters] were the resistance in the war torn remains of North America.

It's funny, Neutron is one of the most powerful in Supes' rogues gallery, probably even more than Zod or Bizarro, he's unkillable, and can cause a NUCLEAR EXPLOSION, and yet he hasn't been seen since like the bronze age. I mean, I love Lexy and the others, but even Riot appears more often.
I've always liked Riot, and Neutron too for that matter LOL. My favorite villains for Superman though are Conduit, Parasite, Atomic Skull, Luminus [from Superman TAS], Livewire [originally from Superman TAS but already in the comics now], and Cyborg Superman/Hank Henshaw. Back in the titanpad finishing off the OOC.
