I'm gonna try and get an IC post up today to kick things off but my son and I are both sick and out of school/work today and tomorrow both. Anybody have ideas on where to go beyond the Adam Saga or will this just be a one and done story?

* HUD display in helmet as well as communicator

Personality - gifted tinkerer, keeps to himself mostly, tries to play hero but often messes up, he's a bit of a boyscout, takes horrible selfies

Bio - Mason was always a gifted tinkerer taking apart and reassembling everything he could with whatever tools he had even at a young age. He had a dual major in engineering and arts and scored an internship as Stark Industries in New York. In one of Iron Man's earlier adventures the Avenger lost a piece of armor in a battle with Whirlwind that managed to find its way into Mason's capable hands. The gauntlet and back piece gave Mason just enough to go on to reproduce his own armor. After assissting Stark in a battle against the Serpent Society, Iron Man gave Mason one of his older model armors to tinker with and told him he needed his own code-name.

Four weeks later Mason hit the skies as the Silver Centurion. While he's grateful to Iron Man for everything he's not all for the Registration Act.

Dislikes: cats, awkward silences, large groups of people, being put on the spot, movies with subtitles

Former Occupation: Coal Miner

Experience: Discovered a means to produce clean fuel in the remnants of Atlantis, saved miners trapped in a cave in, and assisted the Navy and Coast Guard on several search & rescue missions. Atticus also worked with the Air Force on several occasions.

BRIEF Bio: He remembers being raised in a small coal mining town in Virginia. As soon as he got out of high school he got a job working in the coal mines. His father had left him and his mother on their own and he also had a younger brother (Richard, currently 50 yrs old) he helped raise. He was approached when heading to a Marine recruiter's office by a man claiming he was with the government himself and looking for volunteers. This lead to the machinations that made him the Cyborg he is today.

Notes:

* Remembers being a kid during the Vietnam War in the 60's, the moon landing, Woodstock, and Nixon being elected President.

* Doesn't remember much of his time working in the mines or his teenage years but frequently uses a pick ax in combat.

* Would've actually been an earlier Cyborg in the 00 series, however there was a lot of trial and error with his flight systems and breathing underwater as well as high altitudes. His brain also suffered some damage and he lost many of his memories.

In the year 1991, nine individuals from around the world were taken and given cybernetic enhancements by a man named Dr. Henry Wells. Working for the United Nations, in an attempt to create soldiers capable of bringing about the end of the USSR, Wells too was kept in the dark about the people behind the experiment. The Skull, a scientist in a skull mask who was reportedly working with the USSR, was also revealed sometime later to ALSO be working with the mysterious group who orchestrated the birth of the Cyborg 00 experiments. To the extent he even gathered the majority of the 'volunteers' himself.

The year is now 2018 and the nine cyborgs have all had twenty-seven years experience under their belts. Some of them went back to trying to live normal lives during the 90's. Others just plain couldn't. Over the years every so often a few of them would team up to take down some insane threat to the population be it giant robots, monsters, terrorist cells, or mutant psychos.

Now Dr. Wells has been sought out by a mysterious gray haired cyborg from the future, designated 050, to bring the team together again to stop some sort of new cyborg hunting cyborg. With the ability to absorb the others as well as their unique abilities, the cyborg-hunter called Adam made his first cyborg victim the man from the future. Now with the power to become ten of himself, can the combined power of the 00 Cyborgs defeat this new threat to global security? And who's the new guy in a mask claiming to be the same Skull who helped the Soviets?

This is it. My Cyborg 009 themed role-play where we completely take the 009 concept and put our own twists to it like every other 009 series has done in the past. I have no idea who will make it out of this RP alive, or where we could go beyond the opening arc with the cyborg-hunter called Adam.... but both are up for discussion as well as everything else dealing with the 009 concept!

The premise is still the same. Nine cyborgs with spiffy suits complete with cool yellow scarves protecting the world from only God knows what. After reading up on a lot of the history of Cyborg 009 I tried coming up with an enemy unlike anything they’d faced. The inspiration for Adam came from the popular Dragonball Z character Cell.

Accepted Cyborgs go ahead and repost your Character Sheets in the Character Tab! If anybody has any ideas beyond the opening arc with Adam feel free to share and bounce ideas off of each other. Let me know if you want a microhero avatar of your character like mine!

@Omega Man So the other 3 CSes you didn’t address at all just... don’t exist? Or are they not approved? Because you didn’t say anything about them one way or the other and nobody else has shown interest in this game in over a week.

I mentioned before I had a couple CS's sent through PM's. It's been long enough though and while I was *really* hoping this one poster would finish up his WIP, it looks like you guys and gals are getting restless. Had the two other players finished CS's I would have two spots to fill with five applicants. With only three applicants I think I've already got my mind set on two in particular.

None of them were declined and everything was submitted with the requirements I asked for. Of the three sheets, 003 and 008 have been accepted into the ranks. So yourself and @Zero Hex can count yourself among the cybernetically enhanced!
