@Jester Acharis

Actually we're not requiring one person per Arcana. That said those are in fact the current Arcana without a character so it would be nice to have those slots filled.

Did you have an idea of the type of character you were looking to play?
@MagusDream

Claud Albert Hamilton

As the evening hours crept on, a young man finally departed from his classroom to make his way home. If one ever bothered to take note of the man, they would be aware that late departures were the norm for him. And if one knew the man, they would be aware this was a highly calculated effort to avoid details of his living quarters and domicile situation from being explained. One would also know that such circumstances feel right in line with the general distance the young man maintained in most every situation he found himself in. Yet no one knew the man, and no one took note of him. After all, if the man, whose name was Claud Albert Hamilton, was anything at all in this life, then he was an observer. He merely looked in on his own life and lives of others. And observers were never noticed by others, for an observer's sole job was to the vessel that others might glance in through.

Hence as the the young man passed through the courtyard on his way home he fully intended to simply head home without stopping. Yet the world has a nasty habit of forcing the hands of the otherwise isolated, and for once something caught the attention of Claud causing him to pause. It wasn't the boy sitting in the courtyard, no nothing of that nature was odd, his fellow students often had a habit of sitting in the courtyard after hours. It was after all a relaxing environment where one could crack open a book, take an afternoon nap, or simply chat with friends. No there was nothing about the locale or the other man's presence that caught the interest of the young man. Rather it was a but a simple object that Claud took note of.

"The Penguin Dictionary of Classical Mythology? An excellent source to read no doubt." The young man noted in a gesture that surprised even him. It was a peculiarity for the man to voice his thoughts on any matter, but whatever moment of surprise the man may have felt about his gesture, it didn't show. Instead the train of thought continued: "Personally I prefer to read from some of the original Greek and Latin texts, such as The Aeneid of course, although The Metamorphoses are also an interesting read. Although I must profess I am more familiar with Latin studies over Greek."

To speak a sentence was an unusual for the man known as Claud Albert Hamilton, to speak for so long was even odder. Yet when it came to his studies he was diligent, it only stood to reason that he must possess some interest in the fields of academia. A fact that was now becoming rather apparent as he continued speaking. Yet he also realized another grievous faux pas.

"Ah, my apologies for the lack of manners on my part. My name is Claud Albert Hamilton, pleasure to meet you."

The man's introduction finished with an outstretched hand. Today had truly been a change of pace for the young observer.
OOC is over here in case people were wondering.

We're not dead.
Okay, so it's more like she can heal people by touching and using Aether and rebound attacks using Void. Got it.

Sounds good then.
@Plank Sinatra Only a small question about Des first, namely the extent to which she can manipulate Aether and Void. Since you mentioned the Five Classical and Wu Xing, I'm simply wondering what exactly you mean by the manipulation of those two elements in particularly since they can mean quite a few different things. Other than that everything looks good.

@Write Looks good to me. Although I am a little curious whether the weapon conjuring, is the material used the same one it's made of? Like if she grabbed a bunch of styrofoam to make a shield would it make a styrofoam shield? The power is innocuous enough that I don't think I care either way, but I am curious.

Well it's innocuous until nukes get summoned, but that's more my speciality.

Oh also you put 22 in the bio but have her age listed as 19.
@Onarax@Prince of Seraphs sorry xD i'll see if everyone else can be implemented, but I was kinda scared that @mentioning everyone would make me look... odd. @harinezumikouken i'm thinking about trying to write them from my own perspective!

Twas merely joking Nara.

Use who you need, shoehorning chars in simple to include them never turns out well.

I look forward to reading the piece.

Can I use Amy, Lauren, Ben, Lucas, Robert, Shiro, Cian, and Abel for a contest?

Hiwatari Rei: Big Text Hurts the Eyes

So. It's been a while. Quite the time skip to the story isn't it? Last we talked the kid and I were just roaming around in the city of Cronus and now we were on the road to pound the head in of bad guys. Not to mention she found quite the colorful group of characters. I mean, we'd gone from being a party of two to a group of six. Quite the change.

Seemed like the set up to a bad joke: A blind woman, a paladin, a knight, a trap, and two weirdos walk into a bar.

But I digress.

I hadn't honestly been following the group too closely. Worst case scenario I could catch up and it's how Cyare and I operated normally. She liked quiet spaces I liked talking to myself and explore the great outdoors.

Well that and the opportunity to lounge around in trees. Which is what I was currently doing after having put some distance between me and the rest of the group. We'd let the trap lead and point out the route, I just ran off ahead for a bit to recline. After all if you're familiar with the story of the tortoise and the hare, you know the rest will eventually catch up. All I had to do was lounge around in this tree for a while. Honestly I'm well aware that I should probably be bonding with the new companions and all that, but really the kid had been plenty.

Make no mistake, talkative as I might be, I've never been a big fan of anything longer than a few hours with the same person. The kid was an odd exception mostly cause it was rather amusing to watch parade around with that justice shtick. Plus she could hold her own in a fight.

Still she trusted the new recruits, it'd be rude of me not to. Even if I've had yet to truly grow accustomed to them.

Speaking of, seemed the turtles had finally caught up, and with a spin I swung my body out of the covering of leaves. I didn't depart the tree all the way tho, much more fun to startle the others as I hung upside down from a branch.

"Kept ya' waiting huh." I said with a smirk to the trap now positioned in front of me, "How many times did the kid ask if we were there yet? I know she's the rather talkative sort."
I'm interested. Might drag a few friends along too.
Write-sama told me to throw this up since the deadline was soon.
