Current Alternatively - and now, hear me out - one could avoid looking up photos of such eldritch horrors ... maybe?

Back for my bi-yearly visit. Now where did I leave that thingy-ma-jig? Anyone seen that mish-masher? I think it looks like motivation or something!

New medical term: Dizzy mummy (condition of patient when world is spinning and only treatment is confinement to bed). I hate being sick...

@Vampiretwilight: Funny indeed. Now to make it into a roleplay here...let the madness and sassy Narrator commence.

@rivaanPosted in Character thread, and shall give you more information once I'm awake again and actually knowing what it is ^^
Here we go, Guthrie "Blade" Jean Harlanson is ready!

@rivaanStill chipping away at that character sheet, just been difficult to actually do it without any internet. I've felt like a cave man xD But it shall be up today!
And because I had no internett yesterday after I promised I'd post, I finally got my lazy ass to do it! Sorry folks!
The journey from the aircraft carrier to the cruiser, to the zodiaks and finally up on the beach of the island went smoothly. But that only meant one thing for Viking, especially when they split up into their respective fireteams and went into the jungle; something very shitty would hit the fan sooner or later. But Viking kept his mouth shut, for him mentioning this to the others was both unlucky and redundant.

"Roger that, Merlin.". Viking had stopped dead in his tracks and fallen onto his stomach, just in time to realize what Merlin had been been so pissed about; two tangos, Indonesian mercs from the looks of it right in front of them. Luckily they didn't spot the group of highly-trained spec-ops that would shred them to pieces before they could say "Who goes there?", and soon they were on their merry way away from Fireteam Bravo. And behind them followed Viking and Joker.

It was safe to say that Viking hadn't expected to find a checkpoint in the middle of the jungle, without an actuall road to check the points of...or whatever checkpoint actually meant. While Joker radioed back Merlin, Viking tried to take a more thourough look at the checkpoint from where they were hiding. Apart from the two patrolmen, he could count two more tangos guarding the checkpoint, idly chatting with each other. They obviously didn't except either Joker or Viking to raise a little hell for them, if that was neccesary.

"Both my rifle and pistol are supressed, if you need to borrow one. Going in close also works. But why is there a checkpoint out here, I can't see any tracks of a car or truck, not even an APC or tank. Do you recon they're hiding something there?"
That's the spirit! Nothing's better than half-assed assignments, right?
@Fish of OblivionGood luck with them then, how do you feel they went?
@Lady AmaltheaI wouldn't mind playing both of them at once, but would it perhaps work if he joined the story once the others leave for the dig-site? Have him follow them, or would that not fit the story?
@gohKamikaze@RBYDark@Fish of Oblivion@SigurdHappy late New Year everyone! I hope all is well with you, and that we might get back to our story in not too long! ^^ *Nudge nudge, wink-wink*
