@gorgenmastI'm still very much interested in this, so please do :)

@manapool1I can't speak for Kelewen seen as I'm not a co-GM, but I personally don't see anything wrong in letting you join us. Might even help to kick this back into gear.
@GraviloquenceI'm still in this, just haven't gotten around to finish my CS :/ Sorry for the delay...

Hi peepz. How's everyone doing these days? I hope you're all doing well or getting better :) I know this isn't my RP so to speak, but I'd hate to see this wither away like I'm slightly fearing it is.
So the mission had gone from a simple infiltration and clean-up duty to a rescue mission; one meant to save Liberty's good skin from the local authorities who probably would find their bitter ends at the hands of an overly aggressive American lady. Alexander, or Lancaster, sighed to himself as he put his beloved car into reverse and got him and Cavalier back on the road.

"These things never go as planned, do they? Be adviced, Kingmaker, we are on our way. Liberty, we're coming."

The car burned rubber as the English duo raced at a breath taking speed down the Docklands, honking pedestrians out of the way and ignoring the loud swearing at 'the f*ckin' wanker arse driver'. They had no time to give them the figurative bird, and Lancaster was in no mood to play around like at the warehouse earlier. The Austin Martin roared around the building Liberty was supposed to not be spotted, nearly rear-ending a small electric mail-car with its unfortunate teenage driver, before speeding north towards the underground car-park.

"All right, ETA in 15 seconds. How's Liberty's situation?" Lancaster said through his comms, internally counting the seconds until they were supposed to pass through the..."Christ! Get your head down!"

The doors had already began to close when Lancaster first got sight of them. Either Bugcatcher had screwed something up, or there was too far from their original position to the doors; he refused to believe that it was his fault! Lancaster simply doubled down at the gas, pushing the British beauty of a vehicle to its limits as it flew just underneath the doors in time to spare the paint-job of the car.

Almost.

"...That's coming out of Bugcatcher's paycheck, if it's the last thing I'll ever do. Kingmaker, we're in. Awaiting further command."
Did she...did she just call Julian old? The very reason Julian had stated his age to her was so that she wouldn't call refer to him by it, and now she was already calling him 'old man'. And really, had she done nothing else but make fun of him and throw sarcastic comments his way? Most people Julian knew who did that were either close friends who felt safe in their friendship to make such jokes, or had a special grudge again one.

Perhaps she was of the latter? Not that he could blame her, the situation he was pulling her into wasn't exactly a 'walk in the park', whatever the city folk meant by that. And then it was the whole tense situation between the people of South's Valley and the Indians, or the whole country for that matter. But did she have to tease him like that, just because they were two different people? Perhaps, perhaps not...

But Julian found a smile one his face again as he heard her laughter escape her lips. It was soft, gentle, like the shiver you felt when someone tickled you, only better. He felt no evil intention in that, even if she was a savage, probably not even a Christian, so how could he help but not smile. "Call me old man again, and I'll be forced to give you a nickname too."

He wasn't going to argue with her matter-of-factly argument that the White Man simply couldn't follow the trail of 'The People', probably referring to the Indians as a whole. Firstly, he already understood that she didn't think highly of his kind, and frankly had had enough of that conversation for the day. Secondly, that was the reason he wanted her help in the first place, didn't she get that? But thirdly, a reason he felt compelled to push through the more he spoke with her, was that he wanted to prove her wrong. If that was even possible, he didn't know, but he would sure as hell try.

"Old man will follow, if you so wish. Lead the way." Julian said to Wasula, holding out his hand as a gesture of her to take the lead. He smiled teasingly, jokingly using the name she gave him. A name he didn't like, but one he would use as long as he could call her...something. He just needed to come up with something clever and witty...

"And when we've gotten your things, I'll just run by home and get what I need, and we'll be off. And by the way, Sharp-tounged Woman..." Julian, now standing outside beside Wasula as they had begun to make their way for her camp, looked up at the sky with his hand covered over his eyes and scanning the horizon. He chuckled after a brief moment of silence, before looking at Wasula's face, now illuminated in the soon to be midday sun and giving her black hair an even finer look. "...the blind white man thinks it will rain later. If I'm right, you'll stop calling me old man. If I'm wrong...well, you decide. Deal?"
@Lady AmaltheaGot a post up now, but thanks nontheless ^^

Location: Also Closer To A Meeting

The relationship between Lola and Thalia had already been well-established, but he too had to question what Lola was notioning at. Not that he had against...people like that, but the initial thought of the two of them caused him to look away briefly, as if he didn't listen. And then it was the whole fling the less-than-sane Kiwi had with her beloved tank. People who treated their vehicles like that were either slightly mad, or had just grown attached to it because of past events.

In Lola's case, Alexander couldn't see the difference.

Alexander felt the silence after his own comment, partly regretting opening his mouth again. Lola's snickering was okay enough, but Thalia seemed dead serious about what he said. Though that came hardly as a surprise, seen as he had wasted his good first impression with her with the damned radio. But at least she was calling him by his new nickname, so that was something. "I'm fine with being tolerated these days, so okay. Mugsy promise to do his best to stay here and refrain from being annoying, for now." Alexander said with a serious voice, though his smile had returned at Thalia's nickname to him. Even if it wasn't meant positive, a nickname was mostly a sign of acknowledgement in some way or form. But for now, he returned to silence and simply waited for whatever was going to happen.
@Lady AmaltheaI can post now really. It's not like Thalia is taking a massive interest in Alexander or vice versa, haha?

Edit: I'm sorry, but I'd like the extension after all. Tried to write a post, but just doesn't feel good enough without his reaction to Thalia after all...
@GraviloquenceSorry for bad phrasing on my behalf. What I meant is that his family has members who are/were in the whale industry, and thus have renounced any connection with the brutal business and dedicated his life to preserving marine life instead.
May I post my interest in this, almost purely out of the Lovecraftian aspect of it? :D Might have an idea for a Norwegian marinebioligist with family ties to the whaling-industry.
