Technically since we don't have the 'humans' pseudo servants would instead be manifested as their full selfs would they not? Which means we get True Ishtar (as an alter ego)



Finally wouldn't the 'extinction' of humans completely ruin the human half the counterforce? Unless of course that half is so reduced that its now clinging onto a servant container for existence.

Most of what you are asking here fall under the "accepting compromises" part of of my previous explanation. It's not impossible to have a downgraded Ishtar or Eresh, or anyone else, around but at least Ishtar has a really, really nasty personality when she's not bonded to Rin, so she wouldn't likely be a good solo Servants. Having the Moon Cell "temper" her by choosing a compatible vessel from within its database (Rin existed on the Moon Cell, after all) and then, shoving Eresh there to ensure that none of the two goddesses would get too out of hand isn't out of question by any means.

Also, I wouldn't muse too much on esoteric concepts like the Counter Force unless it's a fundamental part of a character you have in mind. If we start to grasp at the loose threads of the Nasuverse we will never end. So, keeping it simple is the best thing to do.

I already have Constantine's church NP drafted, so it's only the matter of polishing it at this time, though I must ask what the classifications of spiritual bodies are in the Moon Cell, and if anti-spirit capabilities are still as effective as they are within a standard Holy Grail War. The Church he built is what is essentially the holiest place in Christendom, where Jesus was crucified and buried/resurrected, and I had it drafted to do some crazy effects~

As for Constantine's status as a Saint, I do think he meets the qualifications of being a Superstar Saint. He's considered to be the Thirteenth Apostle due to his contributions to Christianity, which I dove into in his Backstory, and his status as a Saint is unquestioned.


Now that you mention it like this, I suppose its a good case. If Karl can have a B Rank on this Skill, I suppose that allowing Constantine to have an A is alright.

Also, silly me, it seems that I was thinking of the effects of an A Rank when I mentioned it earlier. So, you can have it since it's much less complicated than trying to understand what the lower Ranks do... for the sake of convenience.

I should mention that because I'm trying to follow my own view of what a good Fate RP should strive to be, this whole game is going to be a pretty experimental stuff. I'm not 100% I can make this work, but I'll at least try, and hope to have the cooperation of anyone applying so that we can all have a good time.

Anyway, I have to stop paying attention to this for a while again. I'll probably have the OOC up when I'm back later today or tomorrow, so be looking forward to it.

Alrighty, this works! Thinking of going with Rank A, unless you'd rather object to it being B. Constantine's a pretty big boi, so either works.

Also, how's everything on the sheet looking so far? I've already got plans for the Church, but for Constantinople, I was thinking of some sort of base-of-operations type Noble Phantasm. I'm fine with just the Church though.


I think that an A-Rank on that skill would be reserved to some pretty Super Star status Rulers, if you understand me. People like the really most known and beloved Saints in the world like Saint Peter, Paul, Martha and, especially Georgius (the true best Saint). Two Command Seals per Servant is probably going to be more than enough in a Servant only party.

Also, I'd say that a Church, or rather a Cathedral/Basilica (if he has any linked to his name) is a more fitting NP. A whole city is too expansive and would be most likely a Reality Marble which will end up requiring some extra level of of writing to justify, given the nature of Reality Marbles. A building, on the other hand, would be just like Nero's and Elizabeth's NPs so it's pretty much more easy to write and justify.

I'd personally recommend avoiding genuine Divine Spirits to begin with. Their manifestation's different system-wise than how Servants are manifested, as you see during a certain scene in Extella, the method BB used to obtain their value data was well outside the standard fare, and it also leads to a significant balancing hurdle.

Mother Goddesses have their Authorities of creation and destruction going on, which is pretty nice, but unless you're counting the likes of Tiamat or the nameless goddess, a big reason they're so scary in the Moon Cell is because Divine Spirits are just flat-out terrifying in the Moon Cell relative to how they are in the material world.

I agree with you that deities with command over Authorities are really too powerful. But a "downgraded" version like the Sakura Five, Orion/Artemis, Medusa (in all forms) and her sisters, are perfectly ok if a player accepts some compromises.

Alrighty then, Second Question. As all the Sakura Five are composite beings of Divine Spirits. Would it then not be possible for the individual manisfestation of each via the mooncell.

Correct me if I didn't understand your question correctly. But, anyway, here's the answer.

If you are asking whether or not the Sakura Five are viable choices for this story, the answer is yes (with some strings attached). Let me explain my intentions with the whole concept of this RP first, before I elaborate a little more on that answer.

I came up with this idea because of two points that almost no one running a Fate-inspired RP seems to be willing to address, despite them being detrimental to both players and GMs more often than not:



Now that I've made my motives known, let me go back to the question and say that yes. However, considering that the Sakura Five are all overwhelming broken by design, I'm only willing to allow them (and any other overpowered Servants like Rulers and most Top Servants) as long as someone applying them behaves in a way that's appropriate to group play. Any attempt to break the game, or harass the other PCs will be met with a corrective measure proportional to the misconduct (anywhere from a warning, to outright banning).

Lastly, I'll take this chance to explain to anyone, why there are two classes that aren't available from the list of playable Servants on GO.

- Moon Cancers: I don't believe that I need to explain why BB has to be kept as an NPC (in case she does appear at all).

- Foreigners: You are going to fight alien threats in this story. If Foreigners end up appearing in the RP, it'll be as enemies or cryptic ally NPCs. Though, I could be convinced to allow someone to play as a Foreigner, if they agree on some extra compromises.

Anyway, sorry for hijacking the question to go on such a huge unasked for explanation.



TL;DR: If you want to play as Kingprotea you can, as long as you behave in a conducive manner.


Well, I certainly wasn't expecting this to blow up so much while I wasn't looking.

First things first, I'm thankful for the interest of anyone who posted here so far.

Second, I'll do any final assessments of Servant proposals once the thread is up. But, I'll still try to address the ones that have been posted here up to the point when I'm writing this.

Now, to address some of the questions before I go piece together the main thread:

Wait, if alter egos are allowed and this is an alternate world does this mean we can app servants under the beast container as alter egos. Similar to Kiara?

(Just asking cause that class was made for servants that didn't fit into regular classification and yet had nothing to do with elder gods)

Im asking since the Alter Ego Catagory is generally the catagory for servants that don't fit classical definition (Sakura Five) or merely contain traits that make them beyond applicable for the original container (Okitan/Sitonai)


I'd like to avoid touching on Beasts at all. Kiara, especially, wouldn't be called upon by a working Moon Cell under any circumstances. Alter Egos are an option because the Class lends itself to a lot of flexible character concepts (just as you mentioned). But, bear in mind that who you are an Alter Ego of, will probably be the most deciding factor in whether or not character you do is viable or not, especially in what concerns composite beings like the Sakura Five and Sitonai.

My personal suggestion for working with this Class is taking an already canon Heroic Spirit that has multiple facets (like King Arthur, Elizabeth Bathory/Carmilla, and above all else the Tamamo Nine who are the original example of Alter Egos in the Franchise) and work around the alternative interpretations of them. Or, take advantage of the fact that the Moon Cell allows some hax with Divine Spirits and... I don't know, make an Alter Ego Ereshtar Rin?

The gist of it is that all of the known Alter Egos are meta interpretations of other canon characters, with a twist or two applied to them. So, I'd like to keep this as the focus of the Class.

It's the nature of public RPs like this to have people dropping at any point for any number of reasons, so I plan to "overbook" this a little to keep the game running for longer.

My Agrippina is getting closer to completion. I sort of wish they had noted WHY she was considered a Caster but I'll make my own reason.


Well, just as @Red Alice said she (and Nero too) were pretty well acquainted with magecraft. That said, I think that if you'd like to her into any other class rather than Caster, Assassin is probably the most obvious choice. You could even try Dual Summoning shenanigans since her modus operandi isn't that different from Semiramis'.

Since this isn't a HGW that skill won't have any use on opposing Servants, but he can keep his allowed Two Command Spells for each allied Servant, since they can be very handy as last ditch support measures.

However, I'll say that any activation of them must be agreed by both parties at least OOC. Also, if there's more than one Ruler IC, they'll have to share the Seals evenly between them. Otherwise, this would allow too much power for a party ot already seriously heavy-hitters.

This should be a nice moment to show what I who should be the one guiding the player Servants under the command of the Moon Cell. Also, it'll probably work to clarify some questions regarding character creation, I hope so.

With no further ado, here's she:




Character Sheet


Class: Caster
True Name: Scáthach, "The Queen of the Land of Shadows"
Origin: Irish Mythology
Height/Weight: 168cm/55kg
Alignment: Neutral Good
Personality: Proud, wise, and witty. Those are some of the best three adjectives to describe Scáthach, no matter the form she takes. A ruler from birth, who understands not only her position as being above the masses, but also her obligation not to exert her authority over them, but instead to do so for them. She's a sage and a great warrior, with an eye for the talent of others and displeasure for those who don't strive to improve themselves or don't show any pride as human beings. In many ways, she's a being so perfect, that the World elevated her to a rank similar to that of a Divine being without she ever asking for — or even wanting — it. But, above all else, she's a young woman in the prime of her beauty who has all the charms of a caring, albeit harsh older sister and no reservation about showering whoever attracts her fancy with them. Be it pupil, lover, or both.
Backstory: This is a pure version of Scáthach when summoned under the Caster Class. Her prime state as a mentor figure, which may as well be considered her true nature as a Heroic Spirit. While she may be impossible to summon through the "original" Holy Grail, her existence had been recorded in the Moon Cell where she's able to be called upon as a Servant despite never having "died".

Territory Creation —: Scáthach's ability to open a path to the Land of Shadows, exceeds the worth of workshop or temple many times.
Item Construction A++: As a creator of many mystical artifacts, many of which would go on to become Noble Phantasms in and of themselves, Scáthach boasts a naturally high rank of this skill, which receives a substantial boost if the object in question is a weapon of any sort. Thanks to this skill, she's able to summon the weapon that she gifted to her most famous pupil, with little to no expenditure of magical energy. However, despite not having lost any of her martial arts prowess, Scáthach cannot unleash that Noble Phantasm's True Name, since in her hands it's "just a spear that has yet to acquire enough fame".

— Personal Skills —
Primordial Rune —: She has Runes hailing from Scandinavia, almost known as Scandinavian Magic Crests. These runes are different from the Runes modern magi use. These are Primal Runes with the power of the Age of Gods. Because of the Norse chief god Odin, they had spread throughout the world. She, who granted Cú Chulainn 18 Primal Runes, is as strong in magecraft as she is a warrior.
Wisdom of the Land of Shadows A+: With the exception of those particular of certain heroes, almost all Skills can be displayed with a proficiency level of B~A Rank. Also, only towards those, she has recognized as true heroes, it is also possible to teach such Skills.
Clairvoyance A+: While Scáthach normally makes use of this skill through her Wisdom of the Land of Shadows skill, when summoned her a Caster she receives a small rank up of it, thanks to being able to exercise her true might as a mentor. With this rank of Clairvoyance and inherent wisdom, Scáthach is qualified to the title of Grand.
Divinity B: Thanks to sharing a very similar role in the Irish Mythology with the Mórrígan, and the Norse Nornir, Scáthach was bestowed with a high rank of this skill. A fact that doesn't exactly please the God-Slayer Queen. Thanks to it, she's able to summon certain types of Divine Beasts (namely ravens) to do her bidding as familiars.

A rune-laden staff made from a branch of Yggdrasil, Primordial Runes, Raven familiars, and a certain Crimson Spear.

— Noble Phantasms —
True Name: Gate of Skye, "Gate of the Magical Realm Brimming with Death"
Type: Anti-Army
Rank: A+
Range: 2 to 50
Maximum number of targets: 200
This Noble Phantasm has two variations, both of which are under Scáthach's control.

In the first, Scáthach temporarily summons a massive gate to her shadow realm, and it sucks in all life forms in range. If the target fails to resist it with one's Mana or Luck stat, they're sucked into the gate and are instantly killed. Scáthach can choose specific targets on whether to allow them access or not. Even if resisted, the targets' mana is rapidly drained and they take major damage.

Alternatively, Scáthach can partially bring her Fortress of Shadows into the world through her gate. Those who get Scáthach's approval to enter her domains are bestowed great luck and blessings by the Fortress. It allows those loved by the Fortress of Shadows to defeat powerful enemies, even if they are normally powerless themselves. If properly employed during a regular Holy Grail War, it could bring about an "astonishing upset."

Both variations of this Noble Phantasm can be used at once, but the strain of doing so for even a short period of time is likely to result in Scáthach "death".

Fate/Exit Order

The Holy Grail War. In another place and another time these words might have meant the word for the Heroic Spirits that reside within the Throne of Heroes, and even some beings who lie beyond its eternal grasp. However, now wasn’t one of those times, not anymore.

This time, what compelled the Heroic Spirits to listen and answer the summons was something much greater. A call to arms, a cry for help, call it what you will but this is the last chance of salvation. For the future to continue to exist, the Heroic Spirits of old, those who became legends, and had their souls recorded by the world, would have to step into action and fight a threat beyond even the most legendary of the Phantasmals.

All that was left to see is whether they would succeed on their efforts or not.

If you’ve clicked on this, I assume that you know enough of Fate for me to not need to go on a long exposition about Servants, Masters, and their exploits through the numerous iterations of the franchise. Nevertheless, I’ll just go through a brief explanation to be sure anyone reading this is close to be on the same page and then, proceed to explain the specific details that concern this story in particular.

The various Fate related works take place in a world — or rather, worlds — not very different from our own, with the exception that spells and magic are a real thing and pretty much every conceivable myth is either real or has sufficient ground in reality to be considered “real”. Normally, a number of mages, known as Masters, summon figures of those legends, Servants, to fight for them in a bloody conflict called the Holy Grail War. The final prize that both Masters and Servants are fighting for is nothing other than the Holy Grail, an all-powerful artifact capable of grant any one of its bearer wishes.

Of course, nothing is ever so easy. Catastrophe and suffering go hand in hand with most Holy Grail Wars ever fought and most of the times, if there’s even a winner, they’ll not be feeling like they won anything at all.

Nevertheless, neither Masters, nor the Holy Grail War will be the focus of this story. Instead of them, the Servants will be working under the command of the Moon Cell, a gigantic magical computer buried deep within the Moon that has existed since before the dawn of World. This incomprehensible machine which has a will of its own, called Servants to fight a threat that could not only decimate it but also deal a finishing blow to the derelict remnants of the Earth below.

While the Moon Cell has been able to fight off big threats at many different times and realities thanks to the interference of a certain unwitting Master who managed to win the last of the Holy Grail Wars on sheer luck, this time it has to fend on its own. There’s no traces of that person, or any other humans left in its data.

This is a story about how those who vowed to protect the world fulfilled their role in a war that’ll remain unsung for now and forever…
