I was going to aim for the "Hey, you guys can't even defend yourselves, while we the bad guys even have the resources to help you" said in a blatant manner of course. Then realization that the Underground values Metas and the Reformists are toast.

Ann's only impression would be exactly that. Only a week and they are getting wrecked.

But with all the merciless killing and such, Ann would absolutely side against their average morality there. But threat of life and social pressure would be enough to scare a 16 year old into doing almost anything.

Ey that's just encouraging her meta shopping spree! Any chance Ann gets convinced or is she too much of a goodie two shoes?

You can scare her into it.
I thought about it. I was going to have Ariadne still stamp his head in but... I decided to leave it as is. For now.

Give Camille the impression that her words were convincing, ya know? Provide that extra pride before Camille's humbling fall. :P
No... No. wait. Wait. "Wait!" Ann shouted in her ghostly world at Ariadne who was about ready to squash a man's head. She had been ignoring the little girl's nonchalant pleas but for Ann she stopped with her foot hovering over the head of Sebastian. It gave off the impression that Camille's pleas had actually worked but in reality, it was Ann who stopped her.

Ariadne glanced over at Ann, who was coincidentally standing by Camille. Ann breathed a sign of relief and pointed down at the burning bodies. "The acid, Ariadne. It might..." Ann hovered in a little closer to the motionless body of the Owlman and everything around him and studied the effects of that red goo she saw splash everyone and anything in the vicinity. It looked like blood and something clicked in Ann's head that whatever was inside that man's head, might burn away at her sister, which was completely unnecessary right now. Before Ann could specify why, she looked up at Aya and Sebastian as their dialogue continued.

Aya... was going to absorb the man? That would mean Ariadne did not have to risk herself. Feeling relieved, Ann turned back to Ariadne to tell her the good news, just as Aya was absorbing Sebastian in a brilliant glare. "It's okay... I don't think he'll be a problem." She said in a relief. Ariadne complied and lifted her and turned to face the little girl, who would probably be surprised that her bargain appeared to convincing.

Yeah you could also side with Rofls and help the neutrals get relevant again maybe? Eventually you can choose a side. Grim arc = The current one with everyone dying and lots of emotion flung everywhere. It's dark. It's scary. It's downright depressing at times.

I could. I would need a quick explanation of what the neutral groups are (motivations and such) to be able to kind of help getting them involved.

Ah, this character will attempt to counter all the dark, depressing action.

The goodies have:
Cedric, who will die according to Bee during this arc. Replaced by George
Light
Ann - Aidane *If Camille doesn't do something about it
Aya *Same as above
Jake *Same as above
Chiller
Jackson *Liability
Cer *Questionable with Avarice
Spectrum
Olivia (Not counting Eli)
Max
John the lion man

Baddies have:
Isabella
Harper *Doesn't seem to happy to stick around
Jaden
Vince
Camille
Isaac
Owlman *Recruited and going to be upgraded
Sebastian *Fate uncertain
Patel *NPC
Cassandra *NPC

My thoughts: The Reformists have a bigger number of people, however that may become irrelevant with this arc's grim theme. With Aya probably being alienated to be reunited with Cassandra (or maybe she's corrupt by Sebby, who knows) and many potential recruits or liabilities. In my perspective it would be interesting to base your choice off the tides of the war.

Also, we're all dying to see Ariadne's final move toward Sebby.

Hm. Start with neutrality and see where it goes? What's the grim arc?

And I'll be writing the finisher after lab today. Give me... 4 hours.

Edit: I'll write the character today as I'm pretty sure she will can be written into any group.
I've been thinking of another character...

Probably a character that can easily be picked up by either group but I'm more thinking of the Underground could use the extra character.

Thoughts?
Sure
ok guys after much deliberating i've made my decision with what aya's going to do about sebastian. of course, if anyone else had plans with him, you are welcome to it, but it seemed like the choice would come down to aya? if i misread, then apologies.

If Camille doesn't stop Ariadne now, Ariadne will kill him. I put her right up to the act but left it open for Camille to set up and perform an action to stop Ariadne right before if it happens.
Ariadne sat absent-mindedly as she watched a wave of blood splash bystander and began to corrode away flesh and clothes. Unwavering, she glanced toward her query, the redhead who was now taken by Aya into the spiritual plane, leaving his unoccupied body behind. Ariadne approached, stepping over the wallowing bodies of those that were still burning. Guilty...

She walked past a young, black-haired girl who had just managed to zoom into view and was now attempting to heal the Owlman before glaring at Ariadne as she walked past. Ariadne did not return the glare but remained focused on her task at hand. Guilty...

Ariadne did not even halt her progress to see if the dog, Jake, would go through it or not. She didn't care one way or the other, but she wanted the job done. She felt nothing as the dog backed away, refusing to finish a life. Ariadne stepped around Jake as she continued her approach. Guilty...

Finally she reached redhead's body. She walked around to his side, looked down upon him, and casted her own judgment upon him. You, I deem most guilty, Murderer of Many. May their deaths haunt you in your next life. Without another moment's pause, she lifted her foot and planned to bring it down hard on the man's face until that still face caved in.

---Meanwhile---

Ann had just caught up and watched in horror as people melted away in that acidic goo. Her hands covered her mouth as she witnessed that Owlman was among then and quickly flew over to him. That was her fault... Owlman wasn't supposed to get hurt! Nobody was to get hurt, other than that bad man with the red hair... Ann wanted to do something but she... just couldn't think of anything to do so she watched something she considered her friend die. It wasn't the first and probably wasn't going to be the last...

Right as Ann prepared to weep over the Owlman's passing, that young girl suddenly appeared and attempted to help Owlman. "But she's supposed to be bad, too..." Ann said to herself in what was supposed to be a lonely void, now visited by Aya and Sebastian. Whatever the girl did, she deemed it enough and turned to watch Ariadne.

Ann kept a watchful eye out on her sister and the girl but also watched Aya and Sebastian talk among themselves. The spirits of the dead were passing and Ann could see their full spiritual body float out from there corpse and vanish from sight, probably not wanting to be disturbed right now. Aya and the redhead must have been witnessing something else as they reached out and reacted to something they touched.

They had obviously known each other from a previous encounter as Ann eavesdropped from a distant. Something about a woman being hostage but Ann hardly had any notion of what it meant.
