Lance let up a thumbs up, "That's alright" he said back to Connor. Now was time for the tests to gauge their abilities better, they were gonna do regular fitness tests but this time with their quirks. "Alright!" Lance said, he was pumped to see where he placed solely on abilities.

First thing he did was the 50 meter days, as he walked towards the track he began channeling the wind and preparing it for the dash, compressing it so that he would be able to release it as thrust. He readied on the starting line in a sprinters position, when he was signaled to begin he held his arms behind him and released the air propelling him at a fast starting rate. After hitting 40m he released another boost from his foot throwing him to the finish line landing him in 5th place for the 50m dash.

Next was side hops which was relatively easy for Lance, he just had to release his compressed wind in intervals, he channeled once more and began side hopping. Releasing the wind at intervals, Lance has good balance already since it was needed with the recoil that the wind can cause. He played number 4 in this.

Ball throw was one Lance was willing to see, Lance stood at the mount holding out the ball in one hand for all to see, he began whipping his hand around the ball causing it to floated, soon a visible dome of air could be seen covering the ball, dust and dirt began being stirred up. It took him about 2 minutes to finally prepare, Lance then beamed the ball into the air sending it flying a little bit behind Connors ball. Lance didn't complain about his score but he was pretty pisses that it was right near Connors ball. If he took more time he could have easy gotten third.

Lance landed in the upper top 10 for grip strength, Seated toe touches and sit-up. Now was his last exererxise which was the long jump, Lance wanted to try out his glide ability hopefully landing a decent spot. He inhaled and exhaled a deep breath, Lance was grateful that this took place outside or else he would be at the bottom of the barrel in almost everything. Lance took 4 minutes to prepare, this ability was imperfect but Lance at least wanted to be somewhere in the top 6, as he focused ring of air formed around both his legs.

"Let's begin" Lance took his running start and leaped 12 feet into the air, his face firm and unwavering, if he broke his concentration it would be a nasty fall from that height. Once he hit his peak hight he kept his limbs spread out and let released a stream of wind to carry himself across the long jump so that he could glide. Passing a couple of his classmates distances, as he reached about 8 feet above the ground a strong breeze causes him to tilt far breaking his concentration. He then began flying towards the ground head first "Crap crap" he straightened his body by releasing air from his hands breaking his fall a bit but still a rough fall on his back.

"Oooh yeah definitely gonna feel that, Lance said as he layed in the sand for a bit landing. after 3 minutes he got up rubbing his lower back, "Stil needs more practice" Lance said as he walked over to the tree. He was breathing heavy and all. He attempting laying flat on the ground wincing the whole way down. Soon swelling began to begin in the area, Lance is starting to regret going beyond Plus Ultra

"Soo..how's everybodies day going" he said laying on the ground.

Lance let out a grin as Connor introduced himself, he seemed like a friendly guy, soon another student joined in who was rather hairy, very hairy to be exact. The boy came over and asked about Connors quirk straight out, Lance eyes widened as he wanted to hear just exactly Connors quirk was, all he could remember was Connor smashing the robots with multiple weapons.

"I can create things from Bones in my arm"

Lance expression turned into an intrigued one, Lance always got excited at cool quirks he had a lot of questions to ask but he he would have to put them at the back of his mind for now, they just met.

"That's actually a really cool quirk, we're gonna have to talk about it later!" Lance said with a wide grin. Danji also had a pretty cool quirk basically being a werewolf, Class 1-A had some badass quirks!

"That's awesome, my name is Lance Carter by the way" the enthusiastic boy said to Danji, how got him even more fired up.

Surely when the sports festival arrives this class will have all the attention with their versatility."Since everyone is sharing what they can do I might as well too, but only to you guys though I don't want everyone in class knowing" Lance took his hands and cuffed them together then began taking a deep breath, soon the three could feel there air moving around them as it blew on their hair. After a moment a small tornado formed half the size of a pencil in his palm.

"I can manipulate the wind with relative ease" Lance said as he look at Connor and Danji with a smirk . He let go of his hands and the tornado dissipated,

"Pretty cool huh, have you guys thought of your hero names yet?"

Sad to hear that. I was hoping for more people to join. Would've made starting a conversation with another character easier since everyone's already busy with one another.

Slight Tardiness

"Viewers watching right now, as you can see the situation is getting worse as all buildings in a 1 mile radius are destroyed and people are trapped under the rubble. WAIT! the wind hero Zephyr has just arrived on the scene already saving multiple lives already dispersing the concrete freeing the victims! Now what's left for our hero is to...Wake up..WAKE UP!"

Startled, Lance fell out of his bed and onto the carpet floor of his bedroom, his head near a pair of feet. "Lance your going to be late and miss your train!" a young girl said. "Crap crap crap!" Lance got up and ran to the bathroom quickly to brush his teeth and get ready to leave. He put on his U.A. uniform and grabbed his belongings, his parents laughing as they watched their son scramble. Finally he had gotten everything and double checked, "Alright guys I am off, Goodbye mom and dad, little Sis" he said giving all of them a hug before closing the house door behind him and leaving off to train station early in the morning.

As Lance arrived at the academy, he marveled at how massive it was, though he had been there before for the entrance exam it felt completely different. Lance pulled out his ID card and entered through the front entrance entering the school. It seemed like he was in class 1-A. As he traveled his way he saw a flash of speed come out of one of the classrooms. The hell was that Lance walked up to the classroom door and looked inside as they watched people getup began leaving as hell. The young man was confused as to who the heck that was, he shook his head and turned around as he follow the rest of the class outside.

Lance arrived outside seeing a couple of students he remembered from the entrance exam, though who he payed attention to the top 2 high scorers, Frin and Marius. Lance let out a smirk unable to contain his excitement, nothing was funner to him than competing against other people. Lance then looked and froze as he saw All might, was it him that sped right past him? Lance had a wide grin as he shows them the dorm, it was pretty nice that all of class 1-A would be living as a group. Lance took the dorm all the way down on the left, opening the door and dropping off some of his belongings. He then changed into his U.A. Gym uniform which was rather comfortable for all types of movement, the short haired boy then began making his way back, next to him was a kid with a wide grin. He seemed a little familiar maybe they were in the same exam area?

"Guess your not the only one who can't wait to show what they can do" Lance said walking and stretching his arms trying to loosen up. "The names Lance Carter, pleased too meet ya" Lance said with a smirk.

Personality

Lance is a very boisterous and outgoing guy. Those who showcase a great noble, brave or determined attitudes tend to emotionally move him as well as quickly earning his complete admiration, respect and friendship. On the other hand he will be quick to call out those who coward like or play dirty.

Lance is honest and kind-hearted almost hero like at natural, he is capable of making friends with most people unless they are just complete assholes. He is very dedicated to his friends and will go to great lengths for them, often earning the status of being dependable. Lance is also a confident and hot blooded fighter and nothing gets him more excited then a good fight, he doesn't shy away from a fight. He is well grounded on the ideals of heroics thanks to his father who he looks up to. When something is bothering Lance he distances himself from others and becomes a rather cold and blunt person, it is easy to tell because he wont act like himself. He likes to joke around a lot and has a good sense of humor as well.

Zephyr

Gust Lord

Lance can control the wind and concentrate it to make his attacks more stronger by channeling the wind or by creating a shield made out of wind for defense. He can also create one large gust that he controls and moves around but at this time he rather vulnerable. Lance usually uses the wind for medium to long range combat in the form of channeling. Though a work in progress he can use the gusts to glide in the air but at his current level he doesn't have full control and can be thrown off easily. As easily as he can control the wind is just as easy as he can lose control and damage himself and others if he bites off more than he can chew.

Lances quirk excels in places where wind is flowing easily, freely, and is accessible with little effort. Spaces where there is little wind is a lot harder to manipulate causing a lot of strain on Lances body. If he overexerts his quirk the costs are high and his quirk will be useless until he recovers fully.

His costume is designed mainly for flight with better speed and maneuverability in the air.

Backstory

Easy and light explains Lances early life, he lived a pretty regular life for a kid until he was 4. While at recess in his preschool class his quirk manifested as he began making the other kids float in small gusts of wind, a day pretty much nobody forgets. His father was even more excited since Lance had inherited his quirk, his father at the time was a upcoming hero going by the name Boreas who had a lot of influence on Lances life. Since a young age his family and friends have been boosting saying that his quirk is good enough to turn him into an awesome hero but he didn't buy into it much, he would rather have lived a regular life. His mother and father never really pressured him into doing it saying that it was his choice though his sister thought it would be pretty cool to have 2 heroes in the family.

At age 8 was when his desire to become a hero finally arose, while out with his mother and sister they were attacked by a mentally unstable criminal, Lance attempted to save his Mom and sister but wasn't nearly strong enough to combat the villain. His mother suffered irreversible crippling injuries while his sister was hospital ridden, Lance on the other had suffered a coma. When he awoke in the hospital room his first action was to see if his mother and sister was okay only to find his mother in a wheel chair and his sister covered in bandages and wraps though she was lucky enough to make a full recovery. As tears swelled up into his eyes his desire to protect not just only his family arisen and he grew a strong desire to become a hero, he turned to his dad and gave him a passionate look that his father understood exactly. After he got healthy and cleared their training began. Lance grew in strength and power even greater then his father when he was Lances age.

Now at age 16, having passed the entrance exam with good scores he was able to get into U.A. and undergo the hero course. An impressive feat, he was ready to compete with the best and become a fully fledged hero.
