Edit: This roleplay is definitely only open to returning players.

Would logically come with a Pokémon: Select version, but... this is a roleplay. Haha.

This roleplay was created for the players of dead roleplay Pokémon: One. Though it's now including a few more.

This roleplay is made to simulate embarking on a new Pokémon adventure in a whole new region. The Pokémon available in this region will be taken from all six currently released Generations.

EDIT: Sun and Moon are out, but they weren't at the time this roleplay was made. We are using ORAS movesets and TMs.

You will all embark from Pureplain City, where the Pokémon Professor Kalmia has decided to provide you all with Pokémon and Pokédexes. From there, everything you do will be up to yourselves.

It has been a slightly troublesome time for Pokémon Trainers in Isson. A number of years ago, Team Amethyst figured out the profit of selling rare Pokémon to the rich people of the world and almost hunted several species of rare Pokémon to extinction in the wild. They were so successful and got so confident that the team started hunting for rare Pokémon already in the possession of trainers. When this came to light, there was an uproar of people who declared Pokémon Trainers to be either dangerous or in danger, and a lot of children were stopped from becoming trainers.

In response to the uproars, Team Virtue was formed to counter Team Amethyst. Team Virtue was filled with extremists of the other side, declaring any person seen catching a Pokémon or any person in possession of a rare Pokémon a criminal. A war of Teams was fought across the region of Isson, Team Virtue and Team Amethyst struggling against each other in plain sight. During this was going on, few trainers dared travel the world, risking to either be robbed by Team Amethyst or falsely accused by Team Virtue. Both seemed equally possible.

However, now the war is over. Team Amethyst had lost the majority of its members and sunken back into the darkness whence it came, and the Pokémon population is more or less back to where it was due to the actions of many Pokémon enthusiasts. Team Virtue is finally seeing the error of their ways and is releasing their stern grip on the world. While Team Virtue's grunts are still marching around the world, they're now seen as heroes for having defeated Amethyst and are allowing regular Pokémon trainers again while they watch the world.

Professor Kalmia is more than eager to let out her first batch of Pokémon Trainers! You all are not the only ones setting out for the first time this year. There's groups of young trainers embarking from almost every town of Isson, and the veterans from before the Team Wars will be watching with great interest. You're just a few of the ones that will be leaving from Pureplain City. But, you're a bit special. You've been specifically chosen, for one reason or another, to be the ones that will receive Pokédexes and special first Pokémon from Professor Kalmia!

Use the Character Sheets below to make your character and first Pokémon. The first Pokémon will be given to you by Professor Kalmia. You start with a potion and 500 Pokédollars.

When it comes to making your background, feel free to read the general information and about the individual specific towns in the “Towns of Isson” hider. However, the information I am providing you is far from all information I have. If you have any questions which you want me to answer that you need to create your character in a certain specific way, feel free to ask. Interested in a particular location on the map and want to create a character somehow involved with said location? Want to be acquaintance of or related to a Gym Leader or someone else? Want to be somehow connected to a Team? Anything like that? Feel free to just PM me, and we can sort any such details out.

Note, however. I am giving you the option of asking, and I will answer. But otherwise, I am intentionally leaving you all with relatively little knowledge. Because, when you start from the starter-town in any of the games, you do not know the locations yourself. If you want to stay true to that, you can just make yourself be from Pureplain City, the most normal city of ever, or you can recently have moved here from some other region. Then, you won't really need to read the General Isson Information or the Towns of Isson folder at all. You can just let me tell you when you get there~ … Oh, and Pureplain DOES have its own Gym, but I won't tell about it unless you ask, there, too.

When posting, please have a hider detailing your current things and current Pokémon. Also, start out with a name, so that we know what character's post it is. We're stupid, and might need reminders, after all. Having your speech in a different colour (that is still bright and readable) also helps. There's a mini-sheet for your Pokémon to have in posts right below this paragraph. Also, feel free to also include current inventory, a link to character sheet, etc. Other than that, write as much in your post as you feel like. This is casual. Don't look to my posts for how big your posts should be, I'm the GM, my posts are supposed to be rather big, I'm answering to a lot of players. Write as much as you believe you need to have fun. I don't need to say that you're here to have fun, right?

That's about it. Feel free to style things after your own preference. Tell me if there were any inconsistencies or if I messed up. Press any images for the larger version of it. Ask me if you have any questions or want something clarified. Tell me if you're dropping out. And yupp, that's about it.
My opinions. I wasn't able to partake this time because things in my life, but I sure will read and vote!

Note, I am no authority, so don't take my words to heart if you disagree with them.

@PatrickDrummer As I am part of Group 1 I didn't really keep track of the incidents of Group 2 and as such hoped someone else would answer, but that seems not to be the case, which I find sad.

So, um. Mako appears to have sealed the main doors with ice wall, but these 8 guys appear to be coming in through a side-door. Maverick has neutralized 2, while Dianna has neutralized one, Nergal has neutralized one. Mako activated the sprinkler system to get access to water to create said ice-wall with, because water-powers, apparently, but doing so made everyone else unhappy and wet. Dianna and Phone Freak are heading for the floor above, while their beasts... the cat seem to follow Dianna while the doctor seem to be staying and collecting downed guards. This should make it 4 guards left, and in SimpleD's post, he writes that half are aiming for Nergal and half are aiming for Maverick. So 2 at each. He also wrote that they're exposed to the rest of the team.

That's pretty much what I can pick up. My apologies if I missed anything. Feel free to go high noon on them if you like, since the four target-boxes apparently don't know you're there.
Well. Someone wasn’t caring about Maverick’s request to not kill the poor defenseless guards, Metallia concluded watching Blood Fang rip them apart. That somewhat made Metallia feel like her own efforts were pointless. Pointless endeavors were abandoned in Metallia’s mind. Now, then. She had to follow Loud Love before he vanished way too far ahead-

Metallia became aware of two guards aiming their guns at her in a gesture of “don’t let them get ahead”. She gave them a swift glance.

‘... Don’t you dare.’ And with that, their guns were violently pulled from their hands by unseen magnetism, the poor guards having to see their only method of attack fly away and attach themselves loudly to the generators on Metallia’s chair. Annoyed at them, she then had the chair fire back. Small gun-holes opened to the left and right of her legs, and the chairs fired a spray of bullets through the guards’ legs, who fell over shouting.

‘Hmpf. Stay down.’ She commanded, raising her head. … Would they die from blood-loss? … It didn’t matter. She continued down in the direction gestured by Loud Love. They had to check if they could find a vault or anything.
... There seem to be a steady amount of individuals still watching this thread.

... Speaking from personal experience, which I believe at least one of you can attest to, it is possible the GM found his or her life suddenly turning upside down when it wasn't supposed to and then found it impossible to focus time on this roleplay when there were much more important things in his or her life that the person had to focus on. ... And then just not told the players due to "I'm intending to come back, no need to call it..." ... and then just not raised any word about it because it was... more convenient in the person's life like that, anyway, and then time had simple dragged on... It is a possibility.

Hm.

Considering.
@Kiss Of Night I don't think you were the one we were wondering about. More like...

This one: @Crimson Clover and this one: @Zebra and this one: @dragonmancer and this one: @Mr_pink. Unless I missed that they left somewhere. Two of them haven't even been online for the last 12 days. ... And one of them never even posted? Huh. My mistake on that one, then. Haha.
Just going to say, I'm waiting for a @Weird Tales post, be it a GM post or just a Blood Fang post. I feel a need to let both the rest of my squad post once before I post again in a team as small as three.
... I can't race a teleporter! Although Metallia is reasonably fast when flying on her chair, she isn't THAT fast! XD
I don't intend posts to become long when I start writing. They just... kinda get long. Oh, well.
It would appear that the individuals with actual powers had different impressions of heroes than Metallia did. … On the other hand, she didn't know the level of their opponents. In any case. It seemed they were joined by a new individual.

@Progenitus

‘... Metallia.’ She introduced herself to the new person, before handing over another of the communicators she had shared with the rest earlier (which I'm not sure if everyone acknowledged or completely dismissed, but just in case. Not sure if the Presence communicator could do the same). ‘Press the button to talk. Use the switch to specify a single communicator if you just want to talk to one specific person.’ Brief explanation that we'll assume explained everything.

Now, then. It appeared it was time to start...

@Weird Tales

‘Metallia.’ Metallia frowned in deep annoyance as she corrected The Presence of all individuals on her name. What was that k-sound!? Where did it come from!? It made her name sound more vile than graceful! … Which might be fitting here, but still! … So they were going to stash 3 billion whatever currency... in a sack. Okay.

… There was that explosion. A voice which called out something Metallia didn't feel any desire of being associated with. … That was supposed to be a distraction? …

‘How unrefined.’ She complained with an annoyed tone, turning intending on getting going, when...

@Stekkmen

… Maverick pleaded her and the others not to kill anyone, with a swear-word. Metallia turned her head, giving her a stare with blank eyes. She didn't respond, but she analysed Maverick for a moment. … That was some statement, considering what side she was on. Given the explosion, The Presence clearly cared naught for human lives. It didn't matter to Metallia if people died or not, but neither did she take joy in needless killing. However, she couldn't answer for the rest. … She wouldn't save anyone's life, but for Maverick's sake, she decided not to kill anyone. … And she also felt an unexplained desire to say “Metallia”, as if to correct Maverick, but Maverick hadn't actually said her name wrong, so Metallia didn't act on it.

Now then.

The Presence had not specified if he wanted her robots or not. Was that in preparation for the escape? Was her robots to stand by until they were fleeing? Possible. However, she greatly doubted that he intended her to be completely useless in there. As such, she took her cap and stashed it in a pocket. She took her head-piece and put it on her head, her two black transmitters and receivers instantly giving her complete awareness of her robots. They were in the garage, as she had left them.

Metallia dashed after Blood Fang. Of course, she was quickly getting exhausted, due to the lack of personal exercise. But, that didn't matter. As soon as she reached the door, her char and its two metal arms reached her. She jumped, and the R5 swooped in, curved, and let her land in it. Her hands took their places to the right and left of it. Now she suddenly realized she didn't actually need to enter herself, she could have just used the R5 to enter on its own. … Eh. She forgot due to The Presence's orders.

Alright. So if she wasn't supposed to kill, then bullets and explosives were out of the question. That left... her flying chair's two big metal arms that she controlled with magnetism. Well. This was going to be extraordinarily violent for a non-lethal option. No matter. She entered the building from said side-entrance along with the wolf-man.

‘... Let's get this over with.’ Metallia commented, intending on smacking down guards that decided to be in their way with her chair's heavy metal arms so they'd stay down on the floor. She'd just sit there in her floating chair, her face expressionless as she flew forward, while those metal arms swung for any enemies. She did not fear guns or bullets. Her magnetism would handle those.
