@Joshua Tamashii 11. We're going to have to take your in-game performance into account to figure out the result.

On a completely different note, I'll go missing Thursday to Sunday, so because of that I think I'll try posting tomorrow night for those who have given their posts. In like 30 hours.
... But then, how did we do that with Fortune's injury? ... Huuuuuuuuuh...
@Joshua Tamashii Alright. Nicely posted. Yupp. Contact has been made.

@Rune_Alchemist And acknowledged. XD
... Oh, well.
Mildly regrets the sentiment of yesterday. Oh, well.
Edit: I assume I'm exempt from having to post within two days even if I'm tagged like this?
Okay. This was terrible.

They were heading downwards, the craft around them spinning frenetically while the ground below was gaining in details and swallowing them as they entered the reality, and Amelie realized that even if everything went fine they’d likely die upon contact with the ground if the laws of physics still worked as they should. Okay. Nothing else to it, then? She’s the magical one. She had the power to potentially stop it. Then, she supposed she had to get to work.

She stretched out her hands to do her magic. Nevermind that her supposed limit in diameter of effect was supposedly two meters. Nevermind that when she created it in a situation like this it shouldn’t be anchored to anything and vanish. Nevermind that she had barely any idea of how these new variables affected her magic and she barely could control her power last time. Nevermind all that. Let’s just do. There’s was no trying here. Her magic wasn’t what she had thought it was, anyway.

Amelie erected her sphere of power and anchored it to herself to prevent it from flying off, and she took in the slug and the other passengers into it. As to prevent their immediate death by slamming into something, she drastically slowed down the speed of their descent and the rotational speed of the slug, by manipulating the objective measure in relation to themselves. The intention was to slow it down enough for it to no longer be lethal to all of them in order to hit the ground softly, eventually. This while also slowing down the rotation to that of a gentle carousel, to ensure impacting it would not injure anyone. All for the sake of saving everyone from a mess she might be partially responsible for.
I must admit that I felt REALLY guilty last time I manipulated reality in this game like that. It felt like I was god-modding. It felt extremely dirty. Hah.

Edit: Okay. Now I feel even more dirty. Anyway. Ramping up the attempted affecting of the world around Amelie. First, escape the blanket. Second, ignore a wound. Third, stop impending doom by significantly increasing Amelie's supposed magical prowess. Until proven it doesn't work, I suppose someone will have to experiment.

I am privately going to be a bit disappointed if this works. Relieved, but disappointed. It's an experiment, anyways. An experiment about words written with surety. Terminal, if one can't do that, please kill her. Haha.

However, until proven that I can't do that (which I hope I can't), any coming posts would be nice if they didn't go directly opposite of my post. Hopefully there's some way to make it all work out. Hah.

On a different note, if I live, I'll vanish from midday Thursday to late Sunday, would be horrible if I have to type out a post on my mobile phone during my computer-less trip to the mountains for a few days. ... So, dying might be a bit convenient for me. Haha.
@Joshua Tamashii - Night

The Trevenant watched Amelia intently as she made her inquiry, staring down at her. Behind her, Laurinda was keeping her attention split between her and the Gourgeists moving about, knowing they had a tendency to be dangerous. But, upon having heard Amelia’s plea, the Trevenant took a few moments before replying. And… the tree replied by grinning and slowly bending backwards and letting out a loud, genuine belly laugh, or whatever qualified for it in a tree Pokémon. The Phantumps behind it also started snickering, though mostly seemingly just to be in-line with their parent.

Then… the Trevenant let out a louder roar, a ghostly sound which sounded like it had some form of meaning, for the Trevenants around turned their heads to look at it, and then to Amelia. There was some form of acknowledgement going around. Then, the ingrained trees around moved. A few of them moved out of a way, numerous branches turned to allow a passage. It was a direction which was roughly 30 degrees to the right from the source of the darker presence, not towards but somewhat closer. The Trevenant lifted one of his big tree-hands and pointed through the path that had been created through the ghastly woods.

The indication was clear. Follow the passage. Behind her, Laurinda stood, analyzing what had happened with interest. Up to Amelia if she was going to follow the path or so.

And so, they were ready to get going. Eugene nodded to Claire’s words, and then took out three Pokéballs, throwing them onto the ground. To perhaps nobody’s surprise, they all contained Skarmories. Apparently, variation was not a requirement when you were doing this as a business. The three metal birds all had metal handles, saddles and a safety-harness to ensure whoever was wearing it was definitely not falling off and a place to set a foot on each side. Eugene went around and examined the equipment for a bit, while the whole thing was pulling some attention from quite a few young trainers. It wasn’t something they were supposed to see yet at their level.

‘Alright. C’mon.’ He offered a hand to Yvonne, helping her get her foot in the right place to rise onto the Skarmory. Yvonne looked a little uncomfortable having to do that, considering she wasn’t wearing the longest of skirts. The saddle was constructed so that one’s legs were placed backwards along the creature, as to not get in the way of the Skarmory’s wings, while the handles were up by the shoulders. Essentially, one would be leaning over the Skarmory for the ride in order to ensure safety and free flying. Yvonne eventually got up, and harness in place, after Eugene set it into place. There was a place to strap backpacks and such safely, too.

‘Alright! I am ready to set off for the skies!’ Yvonne announced, pointing upwards. The Skarmory didn’t move an inch and started scratching itself under the left wing with its metal beak.

‘Alright. Now you.’ Eugene said, walking to the next Skarmory and offering Claire a hand to help her up on hers. The same way which was for Yvonne, there was a step strapped on the behind of the Skarmory to allow her to get up on a saddle made for pretty much lying on the Skarmory to ensure the leg weren’t in the way of the wings, and a harness binding a person to the Skarmory to ensure no chance of falling off. If Claire for some reason didn’t get up, then tell so here, because then the rest of the post will be very different.

‘Okay. You’ll do fine. Good to know. Good luck on your journeys. I’ll be… right here.’ Laurinda said to them, sounding a bit tired, before turning around to walk into the Infested Woods again. Delphox looked after her and then at Yvonne and Claire, before raising one of her paw-hands in farewell.

‘Phoooox.’ She called, not exactly in an inspiring tone, but it had been a modest distraction from how boring the woods usually were, so they deserved a bit of a greeting. She then turned to follow Laurinda back into the woods.

‘… And now we have to do something about the mess you did in the Deep Infested Woods before night comes…’ Laurinda said, giving a little stare at Delphox, who shrugged a bit but followed along. So they were off.

Assuming Claire didn’t object in some ways, she’d soon be properly bound to the Skarmory while Eugene went to his own. He’d throw a final glance after Laurinda and them smile to his customers.

‘Alright. For safety, do not attempt to dislodge from the Skarmory at any time. It’s going to be a long way down. But otherwise, you’re all ready?’ And the answer would hopefully be yes at this point.

Then, Eugene gave a hand signal for forward, and the Skarmories started off running a few steps before lifting their wings and flapping powerfully, lifting off the ground rider and all. They lifted from the ground, and the riders would feel the forces of wind and motion hit them as they lifted higher and higher as the birds waved their wings and they broke out of the trees of the woods. Soon, they were high above Route 2, continuing higher and higher, and it’d almost feel to Claire as if they were being carried back towards Pureplain… but then they turned northward, and they were getting higher and higher. High up here, on top of a metal bird, there was quite a view.

From here, she could see the vastness of the Pureplain suburbs and height of the city from a high point of her own. She could tell where the Infested Woods spread, and how the trees seemed to get darker the further in one arrived even as they were always thick. To the east lay the Dragon Lake and Route 14, from here simply looking like a vast lake surrounded by trees in the north and by a cliff in the south. The cliff being the one which the Wet Caverns went through, and just beyond that lay a town which the water seemed to leak into, which was Lakewatch City from a distance…

In the north of there, by what if Claire had seen a map should be the location of Stillwood Village, there was but forest. One could not actually see a village, it was only forest there. Seeing further was blocked by the mountain range of Mt. Strength. On the west side of the lake, there was a pretty easy green path seen going through a nice little amount of buildings on hills that was assumingly Highhill Town, which went north into an area where it was currently raining. It was harder to see in that direction, for it rained on Rainrock City, right by the foot of Mt, Strength. To the west of Highhill Town was a forest, assumingly the Silent Forest, which contained the Silent Shrine though that one could not be seen from here.

The Skarmories flew out west, over sea, on their journey northwards. Their journey took them towards a city awaiting them right ahead, by the sea and with shores next to it. It was larger than both Highhill and Rainrock, but perhaps not as big as Pureplain, yet still. Redcoast City awaited them, and the Skarmories would eventually start to descend towards it. Yvonne let out somewhat of a cry of excitement on the journey, holding onto the metal bird for dear life as they zoomed in. On the way, to the west of Redcoast… there was an island. Claire couldn’t see much of it from here, but it was flat and decidedly bright with yellow. It was hard to tell why, though.

And so… the buildings grew larger as they homed in.

Connected areas:
Route 11. A semi-populated road east under greying skies, where it quickly reaches a steep climb towards Rainrock.
Route 15. A simple walk down to the beach, where the sea leads on.

And so, they landed right at the entrance of the city, by a road that led inside. The Skarmories made sure to take a few swings of their wings to slow down their descent before landing, and multiple people in vacationly dresses and shorts dodged out of the way as the birds landed. Eugene was quick to jump off his bird and go help the two girls off theirs. Yvonne’s head seemed to be spinning a bit, she appeared to be feeling a touch of motion-sickness, despite the fact that she had apparently had previous flying experience in her way of ending up in Infested Woods. But, the girl would eventually be able to get down and then Eugene would help Claire down.

‘Okay. You’ll be fine from here?’ Eugene asked, looking to Claire and Yvonne.

As he walked through the kingdom, he got numerous stares of different kinds as he passed, the King looking grudgingly on while his Princess stared at him in awe after Martin had called his success.

‘Big brother! Become like that!’ The little girl demanded as Martin passed by.

‘I’ll, uh. I’ll try.’ Lewis replied, scratching his hair a bit awkwardly and looking away.

Then the rest of the journey happened.

‘Lesse, two Pokéballs, two repels, two potions, awakening, paralyze heal, escape rope and a Great Ball. Yeah, that’ll be 3300 P. Is that all?’ The man behind the counter said as Martin had his things. He’s free to go through with the purchase.

@Eklispe

In the event that then Dawkin came forth to the counter in order to buy what he wanted.

‘Escape rope, two repels, awakening, paralyze heal and an antidote. That’ll be 1800 P. Is that all?’ The man behind the counter said to Dawkin.

They were both obviously free to pick more from the stock if they had the money and/or desire to do so.

Otherwise, they could head on somewhere else if they wanted to.

Connected areas:
Route 1. Easier path, just follow the bigger road.
Route 2. Walk through quite an amount of suburbs until you eventually reach the path.
Sea. There’s water, alright. Can take you anywhere you want to go, assuming you have means to traverse it.

When Ren then offered getting some food, Ewan first looked at her a bit in surprise, but then had some trouble containing a smile so he led a hand in front of his mouth. This was in response to knowing exactly how his companion was going to reply. Because Joshua was already beaming in rejoice and Pikachu was pretty much absorbing his excitement as well, the ears and tail rising up excitedly.

‘MOST CERTAINLY!’ He hit a hand to his chest, smiling happily, and Pikachu was quick to copy the gesture. ‘We’d be happy to accept your gratitude! We’re interested in all the food, especially when offered by such a sweet and cute friend of ours! We’d be honored to accept!’ … Yupp. Most definitely up for food.

‘Yeah, we’re up for it. Thank you.’ Ewan said, nodding to her, having accepted that Joshua’s word was going to take preference this time.

They could then head off to find whatever kind of place Ren wanted to treat her new friends to, and if Ren wanted to, she could ask them specific questions. But, otherwise we could just assume they had a pleasant time talking and so before eventually becoming done with that before it was time to leave again, upon which time the options were laid up for her again. She’d still be with Joshua and Ewan at the time, of course.

Otherwise, they could head on somewhere else if they wanted to.

Alright.

@Rune_Alchemist@Joshua Tamashii For both of you I decided to hurry a bit along. For Claire, I had in mind to pause mid-flight because maybe she wants to screw around while flying or something, and I thought that maybe Amelia decided to do something radical instead of following the path, who knows? Players exist to make things difficult for the GM, after all. Not entirely the truth, but close enough. Mainly because I was taking a while to post, I wanted to give my trainers a treat on those I could. That'd be you two.

@Rune_Alchemist Of course, if Claire DOES decide to force her Skarmory to take a detour or something (lord save me XD)
@Joshua Tamashii Or if Amelia suddenly wants to go "Hey, bind up Laurinda for me so she doesn't prevent me from going to the center of Wilted Woods" and the Trevenant goes like "Sure" and Laurinda and the GM simultaneously goes "wat" or something (oh dear gosh)

... Then feel free, tell me where your actions break off from the post as written, and we'll take it from there. Haha.

@Joshua Tamashii ... And clever girl. I probably wouldn't have let you find one if you searched regularly, but like this... Hahaha. Nicely rolled plus nicely played. Go for it.

@Pikmin Eye@Eklispe And you two have the choice of either concluding your purchase and doing something else in Pureplain, getting more to buy, telling me my math is off or interrupt the actions of one another if you so please. Hahaha. Yeah, you're in the same place, go for it.

@Delta44 And you. You're free to either just continue talking to Joshua and Ewan if you want to over food, or move on. Or move on in the real game and have that discussion in a PM if you want to do both. All kinds of options there. Haha.

Edit: ... Aaaaaaaaaaand "Preview" highlights the mentions regardless if I got the names wrong or not. Hah.
@Eklispe I appreciate the quick reply! Nicely posted!

@Delta44 Alright. Yupp, continuing that. Nicely posted.

Soooo. I was going to post on Friday. Then on Saturday. Then today. I've been occupied by things that have sadly taken higher priorities.

But I will post tomorrow. In roughly 24 hours. Most of the post is done, anyway, it's just not entirely done. Yupp.
@Eklispe So, do you intend to involve yourself with Martin in the next post? I mean, I can go through with posting to him, anyway, he's just buying a bunch of stuff, but otherwise it's nice for us all to know.
